The spacious 2nd floor BR and balcony overlook the lake. The other BR shares a large bathroom with shower and double sink. Minutes from St. Albans, 30 min to Burlington, 45 to skiing.

This place was amazing! We had such a great ski trip because the location was great so close to the mountain but the house itself made it such a great experience. Plenty to do from the hot tub to the pool table but it is a private spot and had plenty of space for all of us. Highly recommend staying here as our host was great as well. Looking forward to coming back!

One of my favorite stays on Airbnb so far! The location is a hidden gem, near Stowe and other popular spots without being overrun with tourists or being hectic. Montgomery is also full of covered bridges, which makes for a fun day trip. The scenery is breathtaking, I had to keep pulling over to take pictures of the landscape! The house itself is very clean, well decorated and maintained, with clear instructions. The hot tub is dreamy and so is the gas fireplace! The hosts are also super friendly and responsive. I would book again!

We made kind of a whirlwind, last-minute, trip to escape poor weather at home and experience a rare total solar eclipse. I found Jennifer's listing and it sounded perfect! Jennifer let us check in early and settle in, which was very nice. From the moment we got there, I felt very at home and at ease and my kids went right to petting cats and picking up chickens. I was able to log in for some work stuff while the kids (14 and 8) enjoyed some light hiking/exploration on trails through the woods and came back to refreshments, a bonfire, and over-size Jenga. When it came time for the eclipse, we all marveled at it together :). Afterwards, Jennifer set us up to make smores. All in all, it was a great time with great people and my kids are ready to book a longer stay over the summer.

Holiday House on Lake Champlain

This place was amazing. My partner Juliana and I were blown away when we first arrived and photos truly can’t do a justice to how amazing this place was to visit. Kaitlynn and Ian went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and safe in their home. When we first got into the house, we immediately saw a gift basket with all Vermont made snacks and treats for us, along with a personalized note welcoming us. Next to that was a binder with clear instructions how to use the amenities included, tips to local shops and restaurants for us to visit, as well as clear check out instructions. They even had a karaoke setup which I could imagine would be so much fun if we had brought friends along. The hot tub was great, everything in the house was spotless clean and had a very cozy, welcoming vibe making you feel like it wasn’t just another rental. If I could give this place 6 stars I would in a heartbeat. My partner and I will definitely be looking at staying again over the summer.

Great place to stay. Was nice to relax by the lake in the hot tub. Was neat and clean and had all we needed for our stay. Emily was very pleasant to work with. She was informative and I had no issues at all with the directions that she gave me for check in and check out. She was responsive to all my needs. I would recommend Emily and the Lake House to anyone that wants a worry free, stress free and relaxing stay.
