Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Franklin County

We had a lovely visit at this wonderful house. It is such an inviting and interesting house with very comfortable furnishings. We used the very functional kitchen to prepare a full dinner which we enjoyed on the deck with its attractive decorative lighting. Afterwards, we slept in very comfortable beds and woke up the next morning to sip our coffee in the family room. We had a great visit and will hopefully get to stay there again in the future. Thanks to our hosts for making everything so nice.

Great location close to everything and easy to get around to different locations. Easily walk to places to eat and see downtown area.

Jonathan’s place was great for our trip to Buffalo Trace. Everything was as described perfectly and the deck overlooking the river was a nice place to hang out in the evening. Thanks Jonathan.

This would be our second time staying here and it was wonderful! The host was very responsive and friendly, the house was super clean and just how we remembered it last year. When choosing place to stay we knew we had to stay here. Not only was it a homey feel but we were able to bring our fur babies which is extremely important to us. Super quiet location and in downtown. We will definitely be back and when we do come back we will be yet again staying here. Thank you so much again. We had an amazing time on this much needed vacation right before our first baby gets here.

We had a great week explaining the Bourbon Road! Brandan’s cottage was perfectly located to visit the distilleries that we picked out. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck listening to the creek babbling away. Could have done without the cicadas screaming away at us, but that certainly wasn’t Brandan’s fault! Haha.

We had such a great stay. The location was perfect for exploring the Bourbon Trail and just a few minutes from Buffalo Trace. The house was cozy and comfortable, and the game room was a fun little bonus. The bed was firm and super comfortable, which was exactly what we needed after long days out. The hosts really thought of everything, even leaving a dog bowl and bed for Max. That small touch meant a lot. We’d definitely stay here again

Dhru is a wonderful host, very kind and communicative. Our family enjoyed our stay in his beautiful home. It was close to many of the Bourbon Trail distilleries on our list and we found some wonderful restaurants and coffee cafes in Frankfort as well. Our adult children felt comfortable doing morning runs to the state capitol and along the river and we walked our chocolate lab through the neighborhood and to downtown and the capitol area with ease. We also enjoyed evenings sitting around the gas fire pit on the back deck, playing games around the dining room table, and reminiscing about our day and fun memories in the family room. It was a fabulous time. We made wonderful memories!

Wow, what a beautiful cabin. We had 2 couples staying in the cabin for the weekend with plenty of room. I ask the owners if they had a banner for a birthday🤗. We were celebrating my best friend’s 60th birthday. We went to the Arc encounter which was very close and had dinner reservations in Cincinnati on a dinner train. Anjanette went above and beyond to hang balloons and a banner. She was so thoughtful. We all had a wonderful time at the cabin and the hot tub was amazing. We would definitely recommend this cabin. Thanks for a wonderful weekend.

Awesome place in an awesome location. Came for a bachelor party weekend of bourbon tasting at a few distilleries and this place was close to many of them. Host was responsive and friendly. 10/10 would stay again!

We came on a bourbon quest (it was successful)and an end of the school year teacher retreat. The cabin was perfect for our plans. Cabin matched the pictures and descriptions perfectly. Very responsive hosts with very clear detailed instructions. We loved playing records and the back sitting area was so peaceful. Cabin is equipped with all the things to cook. Coffee setup was great! Due to a massive amount of rain we did not get to walk the trail but it looked awesome. Getting to the loft was no problem and the bed was so comfortable. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time and the host was very responsive and helpful. My kids didn’t want to leave the pool, the geese and the hot tub! We had a vacation we will never forget. Thank you and we hope to return one day!

Absolutely loved Bourbon Barrel cottages! Beautiful setting out in the rolling hills of Kentucky. Lose to distilleries and restaurants yet out far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Angie was out every day tending to the beautiful landscaping. They even offer fresh eggs on-site. Book this place next time you’re in bourbon country, you won’t be disappointed!

We loved this little place! Perfect for our family get away. We enjoyed fishing in the pond, relaxing in the hot tub, and cooking dinner and hanging out in the kitchen/living room. So cool how there were games and activities “hidden” throughout. Jodi was extremely responsive and fixed our one small issue Immediately. This place was absolutely beautiful and we had so much fun exploring in the surrounding areas.

This house and property is beautiful! We had such an amazing weekend. We love about an hour away and wanted to get away to the lake for our anniversary. Carolyn’s place did not disappoint! From the cozy beds and linens to the fully stocked kitchen and everything in between we felt truly at home. The space is open and airy and feels like you belong. The hosts have thought of it all. We spent 90% of our time outside on the deck or on the dock. It rained a good amount of the time but we still had a blast because the deck is fully covered. So much wildlife!! There’s a baby snapping turtle that lives in the yard and on the dock and deer were everywhere. The kayaks were a lot of fun too! This definitely won’t be our last visit here!

Beautiful property, centrally located to some of the distilleries and wineries. The home had great amenities like outdoor space, game room, screened in patio. The grounds and surrounding area were lush and green. Very peaceful setting. Great for hanging out after a day of distillery touring. Distance to Louisville and Lexington were a bit farther than we anticipated but still a great location to use as a start off point. We would stay here again for sure!
