Welcome to the Franconia Wilderness Lodge! Don’t pass up on this lovely private property in Franconia. Bring your family and friends for a weekend in the heart of the White Mountains, nestled in the woods off a winding dirt road adjacent to the river. The cabin is located across the street from Gale River and close to Franconia Notch State Park, Crawford Notch, minutes from Cannon Mountain and close to multiple other ski mountains, hiking trails, breweries, and many other attractions!
“We stayed here for four nights on a hiking trip. It was such a great location for an optimal social distancing vacation. Literally 15 minutes away from anything we wanted to do. And the home was so cozy and clean. Very child friendly, and they had a blast at the river down the road where we spent hours. Beautiful! Highly recommend this location. Nick T”
The cabin is a great place to escape from it all! The custom made cedar hot tub is hot and ready all winter. Cold, snowy nights make for excellent tub time!! Inside the cabin is warm and has the comfort of home. Want to ski? Two ski resorts are 30 minutes from us.
“It was like no other place we’ve stayed. There were touches of simple beauty, and the craftsmanship was something to be admired. It was like being in an art gallery and noticing things after being in the room that only time allows. Well appointed-nice soaps and things, nice smell to the linens, loved the wooden swing, waffles were yummy, hot tub helped our sore legs after hiking Mt. Cabot, and the tussle of trees everywhere was soothing. Great visit. Hosts really design it so that you feel treated. Wonderful visit!”

“We had a great mid-week stay at this lovely cabin! Perfect for a few days to explore the Whites. We were snowed in for a good portion of our stay but there was plenty to do — built a fire, played many games of pool and board games, and enjoyed the mountain views from the back porch. Polly’s Pancake Parlor is a must for breakfast, as is the quick drive into Woodstock/Lincoln. We’ll be back for sure; thank you!”
