Holiday rentals in Främsteby

We stayed there for almost a week with our 9-year-old daughter and felt very, very comfortable. Kristin welcomed us warmly - we could always contact her with our questions. She gave us great tips, e.g. a great swimming spot with playground and a really delicious bakery (only open until 2 PM). The house is super nicely furnished and in a very well-kept condition - we will be happy to come back. By the way, Kristin speaks pretty good German :).

Our stay was very special! After a strenuous journey, we were able to get into our house very easily. We were greeted very warmly and we felt immediately welcome and worry-free. The rooms were very cozy and full of love for detail. A mix of modern and home style with Swedish art. What I noticed particularly positively was the cleanliness and service thought. Everything was taken care of, fresh sheets, towels, shower gel and a fully equipped kitchen. In addition, laundry facilities. For bad weather or fun evenings, there is a Wii room in the basement. Communicating with the hosts was easy, quick, and straightforward. We were able to communicate fluently in German and got nice insider excursion tips. Within walking distance there are beautiful walks through the woods. Unfortunately, our stay was far too short, but we will definitely come back to you :)

This place is a charm in the middle of the farm and surrounded with the forest. Nice hiking routes to choose. Great facility to cook the foods and enjoy outdoor bbq. There was more than enough woods to burn for the heat and enjoy evening board games. I love the most is super sharp knives. So cooking the foods is more fun. There was no sun unfortunately. Would be nice to swim and rowing the boat at the lake.

It was a bit like Airbnb used to be. We had a wonderful stay (4 nights) with warm hosts. We were greeted with warm hospitality and the house was just beautiful! The decor is designed with so much attention to detail that you immediately feel comfortable and at home. Each room exudes the cozy, Scandinavian atmosphere that we also like to find in Sweden. Especially our little grandson (2 years) had a lot of fun exploring everything. The environment was child-friendly, and he could move freely without us having to worry. The hosts were always available when we had questions or needed help, and yet they gave us our space. Thanks for the interesting conversations. We highly recommend this fantastic house. We had a wonderful week with Michael and Therese in Nydal. The house is just amazing! Especially the huge window front with the great view of the private jetty with rowing boat inspired us every morning! The amenities are great, everything you need for a great stay is there. In our opinion, the house is perfect for 4 people. The location is quiet, and Mönsteras is approx. 5 minutes. There you will find supermarkets, a gas station, a bakery, restaurants, shops and even a small cinema. We used the central location for some excursions to Öland and Kalmar or to Vimmerby.

What a lovely place! We enjoyed staying at this cottage, completely surrounded by nature. Idyllic. Clean and everything available what we needed. Thank you!

It was a really nice time. We were lucky with the weather and could enjoy the accommodation with the canoe and hammocks very much. The barbecue area right next to the sheep was very nice. And the animals were very trusting. We were also able to fish a lot at the lake and caught pike and perch. The outdoor shower was a very good cooling off (: Anna-Lena was a super nice host and filled us up with charcoal when needed and washed the dishes daily. Very idyllic, very suitable for relaxing and cuddling with sheep (:

We loved the house - it is big enough to room 2 families and within reasonable driving distance from Astrid Lindgren World. The house has a lot of history in itself and the family generations who lived there. The glass terrace is worth special praise as it provides hours of family time regardless of the weather. Well maintained garden and the lawn allow the kids to run around and come up with new outdoor activities. The hosts were particularly attentive to our remark that one could go mushroom hunting in the area - as where we live we are not spoiled by that - and brought us freshly picked aromatic chanterelles. We felt privileged that we could stay in the house and are very grateful for Swedish hospitality.
