Walk to the Beach from a Quaint and Brightly Renovated House

Design Sea House 2 with unique decoration by Coração Alecrim store. The house has two floors, on the first floor there is a mezzanine. In the Ground floor there is a one toilet and a living room with kitchene. The bedroom have direct sunlight. Outdoor terrace with great sun exposure. The house is in a prime area of the city, near the beach and the mouth of the Douro River. It's a quiet area with many restaurants and bars, a traditional market, and an organic food store. A municipal garden and a bicycle rental shop are close by. Transports: bus, tram, tourist bus and cab. Free parking in the area. We recommend a trip to the city park and if you like to eat good fish or seafood go to Matosinhos city where you find many restaurants. Matosinhos is a land of fishermen.

Miguel’s place was exactly what he put on the listing. The place was fairly central, i always walk around without having to use public transportation. The room has a balcony with the view to a church so it’s a stealth deal without all the hidden fees of airbnb itself. Definitely going here again next time! Very recommended!

Great host, provided many details about special events happening in portugal during our stay, as well as more common tourist attractions. Helpful and responsive :) Area was out of the city so ideal for a quiet get away with frequent busses taking you into the city in about 40 mins from the place. Can highly reccomend :)

I had a wonderful stay with Maria and George. The house is very clean and full of character, in a peaceful location. I had everything I needed. It’s really Maria and George that make this such a special place to stay. They were kind, welcoming, interesting people - and extremely generous. I was there for two months and absolutely loved it. I highly recommend, especially for anyone wanting to know more about Porto and Portuguese life, beyond what you’d find in a guide book. Great garden too!
