Our second stay, and just as wonderful as last time. The views are unbeatable, and the ability to walk to the lodge is an amazing benefit (I loved being able to grab a coffee there in the morning, or knowing I could have a few drinks and walk home!). Beds were comfy. To note, the blinds in the rooms aren’t blackout so the mornings are bright — but ideally you’re up then anyways to enjoy the gorgeous views!

My husband Josh and I had an unforgettable time at Cindi’s place in Sea Ranch. The home was even more beautiful than the photos—unique architecture, cozy design, and right on the beach. Every evening we watched the waves crash on the rocks just outside the window. It was peaceful, stunning, and truly magical. Cindi was a fantastic host, super helpful and kind. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

We had such a wonderful and relaxing time at Jason’s house. The views were amazing and the location is the best we’ve stayed in at Sea Ranch. The path to the bluff trail was right next to the house and just a short walk you get to amazing tide pools (my daughter and I woke up early to make it at low tide!) and really the best pacific coast views. Jason’s house was immaculate and we really appreciated how complete the kitchen was!! And the blue bottle and intelligentsia coffee beans were a great treat. The hot tub was also great to use after swimming in the rec center. Thank you Jason!!

We love this place so much that we came back for a second time. Peaceful home. Kid and dog friendly. Spent our days at tide pools and hiking through redwoods. Cant beat the location.

This was our third trip to The Ranch House and it never disappoints. Rather, Stephanie has updated several areas that made our experience, this time with a baby, that much better. The updated shower was a big hit with my wife. The water stays hot and the removable shower head makes for a comfortable experience. The bedroom, more spacious now, retained that cozy feeling with a little more room to put up the Pack-'n-Play (very convenient that they have one) so our baby could sleep comfortably at the foot of the bed. The bedding is soft, comfortable and we slept well every night. Personally, I enjoyed the Nespresso and other coffee options and some additions in the kitchen that assisted with dinner prep. Finally, this was our first trip during the summer (early June) and the weather was fabulous. With it being a little warmer, there's plenty of trails that provide shade throughout. What an amazing stay for our family, we can't wait to return!

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home the weekend I was prosing to my girlfriend. The pictures do not do the place justice and the views from the backyard are amazing. Brian was an excellent host and was very attentive and helpful during our stay. We loved the peaceful vibe of Sea Ranch and can’t imagine coming back and not staying at this place. We look forward to returning again in the future!

We enjoyed our time at The Bluffs last week. It's a wonderful, cozy and comfortable place to spend time unwinding. Great ocean views. We liked the convenience of taking the walking trail in front of the house which leads out to the bluff trail. The kitchen has everything you might need for cooking meals: pots, pans, utensils, coffee machine, microwave, toaster, etc. Quiet and peaceful area with deer and other wildlife. We recommend picking up a map of Sea Ranch area at the association office if you want to explore the beaches and trails more. John was very prompt with any questions we had about the house. We look forward to returning again. - Liz

Came back for a second stay, and was as wonderful and peaceful as we remembered it to be. The home is an incredible retreat - great views, and everything we needed for a relaxing two days away from the city. Appliances are top notch, and everything is thoughtfully laid out. Carolyn is a very thoughtful host, and quickly answered questions we had. Would recommend this home for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, and we would love to be back again in the future!

Really enjoyed the location and the enclosed patio so we could sit outside and enjoy the ocean view keeping out of the wind. Lots of things to do in the area if you like hiking and exploring.

Absolutely beautiful. I am very happy with my stay. The kitchen was very well equipped for all cooking needs and there’s a general store 7 minutes away that is well stocked. The views are beautiful. This is the perfect place to get away. We had the beach and trails all to ourselves. There is also a lot of deer. The black sand beaches were unforgettable! Mandi’s place is also about an hour drive from avenue of the giants. If you don’t mind the hour drive it’s a great place to stay if you are visiting the redwoods. I will say though that the drive to get here is not the easiest. I do not recommend driving here after sun set. The road is steep with a lot of curves. I hope to stay here again soon!

We had a wonderful time at your house! It is super pretty, comfortable and the windows and views were the best! Soooo nice! We also loved all your books :) One of us was on a working trip, rather than a hiking trip, and your lovely home helped make staying behind the best that could be! This was our second time staying at Carla’s home. We absolutely love it, and it feels like home away from home. The house is spacious and has plenty of seating for large family getaways. Our dogs had tons of space to walk, lay, and run around outside. To be honest, Carla’s home is soooo comfy, I have a hard time getting up to get dressed and go sightseeing, cuz I feel soo relaxed, hahaha We are looking forward to staying at Carla’s again in the near future, and would love to make it our yearly getaway location stay. Thank you Carla!!

We had a great time at Dakotah's place. They have a beautiful place. And the big redwood trees all around the property make it even better. Perfect place for a quick getaway with hikes and beaches close by.

We had an amazing stay! The property was exactly what we were hoping for—peaceful, clean, and very comfortable. It was incredibly dog-friendly, which made the trip even better since our pup was able to enjoy the vacation with us. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub under the stars—it was the perfect way to unwind. Stargazing at night was breathtaking, and having access to the private beach was such a special treat. The host was responsive and welcoming, and everything was thoughtfully prepared. We’d absolutely come back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, pet-friendly getaway!

Cleanest place we have ever stayed in. Bonnie was always very promptly responsive with our questions. Wonderful location. Well equipped kitchen that allowed us to cook a couple of delicious meals with the fresh seafood we got from Princess Seafood!

Lovely location in the area. Perhaps my personal favorite aspect was the background white sound of the roaring ocean. It’s a calming sound overlapped by birds calling, tree leaves rustling and coastal air moving it all around. The fragrance around the property is lovely and the home itself is well insulated and had everything you’ll need to be comfortable. We’d definitely go back. Cozy, well appointed and surrounded by nature, the Beach Trail Cottage is one of the best Airbnbs I've ever experienced. Great location, view and amenities. Jonathan was communicative and had great recommendations.

A Perfect Blend of Relaxation and Fun in the Woods Our family had the most wonderful night at this charming cottage in the woods! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The cottage is brand new, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed—offering both comfort and a sense of peace. Being surrounded by nature made it extra special. We were delighted to find a private sauna and a hot tub, which were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The fire pit was another highlight—great for cozy family moments under the stars. William & Colin couldn’t have been more thoughtful or responsive. It was so sweet to find fresh strawberries from their garden waiting for us on the kitchen table! They were always quick to reply and provided clear, helpful instructions throughout our stay. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a serene escape. We can’t wait to come back!

A peaceful haven along the Mendocino coast. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Close to gorgeous scenery. I didn't want to leave.

This listing has a magical charm to it. The views are stunning and creates a space for both kids and adults to enjoy. We ate a few meals at the house but also drove up to Mendocino as well. Weather was perfect and we got to spend the mornings and afternoons at the nearby beaches. When we got back to the house, the kids had a great time playing with all the toys, games and puzzles. This listing truly created a wonderful home-base for our family vacation.

Such a wonderful spot! Had everything we needed and it was so clean! Staying right among the vines was amazing. The beautiful gardens, fire pit and bocce were awesome, so much space on the property. Lastly, it was within 15 minutes of every tasting we went to, even closer to downtown Healdsburg. Such a special little place ☺️

A bottle of local wine, a luxurious bath bomb, and other small touches made me feel pampered and appreciated. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention goes into making guests feel at home here. Wow, what a gorgeous space. We loved waking up to the towering redwoods and morning sun and stargazing at night. Six of us + a dog slept comfortably and Kira was nice enough to provide some extra bedding for us. The location is A+ with all of Philo/Boonville and the coast to explore. We will be back!
