House holiday rentals in Mendocino County

My second time visiting GlynRaven Gardens. This time I brought a couple of girlfriends from out of town for a girls trip weekend and it was everything we could have hoped for. Antler is a wonderful host and gave us a full tour of the farm and grounds. The “Hillside Manor” where we stayed was comfortable and private. The views are unparalleled. The pool and hot tub are definitely highlights (my favorite thing was swimming in the moonlight under the stars!) What a magical, delightful spot. Will be back a third time, I’m sure!

Perfect! We adored the place. My only suggestion is to have simple coasters on the coffee table so my coffeecup doesn’t damage beautiful coffee table!!

We loved our stay at the Verona house. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful while still being close enough to convenient places like a grocery store, Costco, a local art museum, and a delicious Thai restaurant. The pool was clean and so fun for our kids, and the kitchen had plenty of pans, pots, coffee and tea gadgets for cooking at home. My favorite part was eating dinner outdoors on the deck—beautiful views and we were able to watch the sunset each night. Wonderful stay for large families or groups of friends!

Just Wow. Had a small family gathering for our 5 year old grandson and had a perfect day. Pool, hot tub, trampoline made the experience amazing. We stayed 3 night and spent very little time in house as everything we needed was in and around the pool area. Loved the outdoor bar area, refrigerator, large screen TV, Bluetooth speakers and the pirate themed 1/2 Bath. At one point we did need to sleep and the beds were very comfy. This home is Pet friendly for our 2 pups. Megan was very quiet to respond with any questions. Thank you for allowing us to share your place. We will be back soon!

The shack was probably the best airbnb stay I have ever had. The house was even more beautiful than photos! We were a group of 13 and felt like we had plenty of room to sleep and endless activities to do. Would definitely book again!

The whole family had an amazing time. Kids cried when we left. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Scott's Ranch Home in Anderson Valley. This really is a special place in a beautiful quiet setting, with a few farm animals you can feed, and a friendly resident / caretaker who lives in a separate building on the property and made us feel right at home when we arrived. The Ranch Home has lots of rustic charm and was a fantastic spot to unwind and feel at one with nature. We particularly liked the wraparound porch and amazing views of the surrounding forests and landscape. Location was great with good hiking at Hendy Woods State Park and the coast / Mendocino an easy drive for a day trip. Very highly recommended!

I felt like I was Anne of Green Gables on Prince Edward Island. This is the most beautiful place to make family memories. The house, the property, the town, the coast... our expectations were off the chart met. We hope to come back. It is magical and Will was very responsive and helpful.

The house is very well done and clean and has all the amenities. It is slightly off the beaten path which is perfect if you are looking to get away. Very modern kitchen. Comfy bed. Gualala town is 10 minutes away. A lot of hiking places nearby. Quiet

The River View House was wonderful! Very quiet and peaceful - great for the 7 guests we brought. The river was fun for a quick dip once in a while. The home was clean and spacious. Plenty of linens, towels, and kitchen dishes for us. Nancy was super responsive and helpful. We are planning to come back to the same rental again! We didn’t add on the studio, but likely will next time if we have more guests or more than 2 couples.

Dale and Linda , Have the most beautiful and peaceful place ever. Respond fast anytime we asked and the view is just amazing. It was so hard to leave today and so flexible when it came to check in and check out time.:) I cannot wait to go back the most extraordinary Place we have been to. Man, where to start! David's place was a dream. We've been visiting the Fort Bragg/Mendocino area for years and we never dreamed we'd find a place like David's. It isn't in the downtown area and that's a positive. You're free of the traffic and the noise. The land is peaceful, secluded, and FENCED IN!!! Our family dog, who always travels with us, was able to run and play freely without concern. There's a massive rosemary and basil bush outside and the whole front yard is a garden. :) The house is a perfect open floor plan and we were able to cook in the kitchen and have conversations with family in the living room. With a kiddo and a dog with us, having a washer and dryer was a life saver. The house gets warm quick and with the windows having screens, it gets cool quick too. The loudest noise we heard were the sounds of nature and they were welcomed. We will definitely be returning to the Northern California Coast and when we do, we'll be staying at David's place! Thank you, David! :)

We had a lovely stay at the lakehouse. A few small issues cropped up during the stay and Amber responded quickly. The handyman who comes to maintain and fix things is also a friendly guy. The view of the lake is beautiful and I enjoyed waking up to catch the sunrises. We were on a family vacation with a few kids and they had a blast at the house with all the fun games they could play, like ping pong and cornhole.

This home is amazing and the yard is even more amazing! The house was bright, cozy, clean and had everything you would want. The location was conveniently located for great food and excursions. Jo was an absolutely fabulous host. She was super prompt in responding to my questions and is just a lovely person. Definitely recommend this property for your Fort Bragg adventure!

A hundred stars ⭐️! This home is so beautiful, so clean, so perfect! It’s built around a tree for goodness’ sakes! Bret and Phil have thought of everything: umbrellas, walking sticks, extra linens for inflatable mattresses, LPs for your listening pleasure, etc. The shampoos, conditioners, body washes, and lotion smell like a visit to the spa. The outdoor space is so serene! There’s an outdoor bath tub, hot tub, AND sauna. We didn’t want to leave! One of out most favorite air bnb stays ever. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us!

I have stayed at a lot of Airbnbs. This one is way up at the top. The area is gorgeous. The house has all the amenities you could want. Loved the kitchen. Big bedrooms and great bathrooms. Super clean. Close to Mendo Village and short drive to Fort Bragg. Deer in the front yard!

Cozy, well appointed and surrounded by nature, the Beach Trail Cottage is one of the best Airbnbs I've ever experienced. Great location, view and amenities. Jonathan was communicative and had great recommendations.

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Manchester, CA. The property is spotless, well-maintained, and offers absolutely stunning views of the ocean, especially at sunset. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the serenity of the Mendocino coast. The only minor issue was the bathroom door in the main bedroom, which doesn’t close properly and could use replacing. That aside, everything else was perfect. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful coastal getaway.

A Perfect Blend of Relaxation and Fun in the Woods Our family had the most wonderful night at this charming cottage in the woods! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The cottage is brand new, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed—offering both comfort and a sense of peace. Being surrounded by nature made it extra special. We were delighted to find a private sauna and a hot tub, which were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The fire pit was another highlight—great for cozy family moments under the stars. William & Colin couldn’t have been more thoughtful or responsive. It was so sweet to find fresh strawberries from their garden waiting for us on the kitchen table! They were always quick to reply and provided clear, helpful instructions throughout our stay. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a serene escape. We can’t wait to come back!

Pristine peaceful sanctuary close to the little village outstanding restaurants and shops. I utterly loved this place! It was serene and darling an antique with high ceilings original floors a delightful soaking tub new spacious shower fully stocked kitchen it was way way way better views than the photos! I am already dreaming of going back!! Super restful sleep listening to the ocean from bed and on the patio at breakfast. I wish i could be there now!

First off, the Phillip & Pablo were great hosts. We loved the recommendations of things to do around the house, where to go/eat. Check in was a breeze and the house is gorgeous, clean, & well equipped. (We are a family of 4 with a 6 year old and 3 year old, & there was plenty of space for us, as well as toys/books for the kids.) Although we only stayed for two nights, we managed to do a lot- we went to Arena Point Pier, fed giraffes at B Bryan Preserve, went to Irish Beach, made pizza, tomahawk steak, & s’mores, went stargazing, and went fishing at the lake next door. The kids had a blast playing hide and seek in the massive house as well. Even managed to take a work meeting in the morning using the WiFi. We were so sad to leave and are already strategizing on when we can come back! Thank you Phillip & Pablo!

This listing has a magical charm to it. The views are stunning and creates a space for both kids and adults to enjoy. We ate a few meals at the house but also drove up to Mendocino as well. Weather was perfect and we got to spend the mornings and afternoons at the nearby beaches. When we got back to the house, the kids had a great time playing with all the toys, games and puzzles. This listing truly created a wonderful home-base for our family vacation.

Peaceful and beautiful place to stay. Be sure to plan your meals though. The place is so nice you would like to stay there for a sunset dinner or sunrise breakfast but due to the lack of an oven/ stove or bbq you have to eat out. Or master microwave cooking like we did. Otherwise simply heavenly place to stay.
