Denise is a fantastic host. Not only is the place gorgeous and accessible, but the amenities are top notch. She's very responsive and accommodating to any of our requests. We celebrated our one year anniversary here after having a great time last year and this could very well be an annual thing, it's very special to us. Hands down, must stay. We loved the property and its proximity to the water and two large beaches. The house itself is thoughtfully decorated and has the furnishings and supplies just like it would if someone actually lived there rather than the typical Airbnb “shell” that only has the bare necessities (or less). We did have an unfortunate complication that occurred when we arrived. Things happen, but what matters more than anything is how a host handles an unexpected event. Jay was kind, understanding, and empathetic and did everything needed to make things right. We will absolutely be back.

As usual my stay at the SeaRiver house was fantastic. It is by far my favorite place to stay on the north coast . Had amazingly clear weather the first 2 days and nights. The views are unparalleled from the home. I also was able to star gaze the first 2 nights - highly recommend doing this if you are lucky to have a clear night. Peter is an extraordinary host that goes above and beyond if there are any little glitches. 5 stars hardly tells the story of this home.

Ryan and James were available and responsive. The cottage was well appointed and immaculate. It was obvious that quite a bit of thought went into the amenities and decor. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The views! Looking over the Russian River where it empties into the Pacific Ocean was awesome! We will be back.

Absolutely wonderful place, the photos don't do it justice. You can tell that this is not just a vacation rental as a lot of love and care has gone into the home and it has everything you could need to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Communication was always quick, friendly and proactive. Would love to visit again one day!

Our stay was lovely! The beds and linens were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. The entire home was well stocked and it felt like a second personal home in terms of the quality of items - sharp knives, well stocked pantry for cooking basics, foil, etc. We brought two dogs and it was a paradise for them. The outdoor area is truly magical. The fire pit is great, the downstairs dog shower is handy, and the landscaping is sublime.

We had a wonderful stay at Ted’s place. The home and grounds are stunning, and in a close location to a beach and short drive to town. Ted was very helpful and the trip went smoothly. Highly recommend!

The place is fabulous so clean with beautiful views everywhere. We didn’t want to leave. Lisa is an amazing hostess and wonderful person. I will definitely go again.

Alison's place was very comfortable and she was very responsive throughout the day. The loft upstairs is like from a fairly tale. The living room downstairs has a large window that lets in lots of sunlight making it warm and bright, lovely place to curl up and read a book. The bathrooms are large, only the downstairs bathroom has a shower. The kitchen is very well stocked. There are several hikes within 5 mile driving distance from the house.

This was our second time staying at Carla’s home. We absolutely love it, and it feels like home away from home. The house is spacious and has plenty of seating for large family getaways. Our dogs had tons of space to walk, lay, and run around outside. To be honest, Carla’s home is soooo comfy, I have a hard time getting up to get dressed and go sightseeing, cuz I feel soo relaxed, hahaha We are looking forward to staying at Carla’s again in the near future, and would love to make it our yearly getaway location stay. Thank you Carla!!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful vacation home! Ken and Elsie are incredibly kind and welcoming hosts—we were greeted with a thoughtful welcome gift and warm in-person greetings, which made us feel right at home. They went above and beyond by offering fantastic local recommendations and even invited us to a community event, making our stay extra special. The location and views are absolutely breathtaking. The sunroom offers a stunning 180 degree view of the coast—it’s the perfect spot to relax and take it all in. The home is also conveniently close to great restaurants and Cooks Beach, which made exploring the area so easy.

We truly loved everything. The area is beautiful. The town of Mendocino stole our hearts with their warmth and friendliness. She was very helpful with family that stayed nearby and ended staying one night at her glamping area. The outdoor shower is wonderful. The home is cozy and comfortable. The kitchen has plenty of room for meal prep.

This well-appointed farmhouse is located in what some locals may call the Goldilocks zone--3 miles from the town of Mendocino, thus avoiding some of the coastal fog, but not subject to the intense heat of the inland valleys. The setting is tranquil, the neighbors are quiet. There is a large and beautiful back deck, perfect for breakfast and sunning oneself. The house is tastefully appointed, a cut beyond the usual cheap AirB&B setups. There are plenty of nice fluffy quilts if you're chilly at night, the kitchen has good cookware and appliances, and there was a seasonal herbal bouquet in the shower. As a former Mendo-land resident, I'd say this house is about as sweet as it gets.

This is an excellent Airbnb’s, clearly someone who really loves this space designed and maintains it. I recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place that feels removed but still affords nearby amenities.

An amazing home with all needed to just relax and enjoy!!

Anu’s house in the Sea Ranch was perfect for our group. So easy to walk to the bluff trail, well equipped kitchen and gorgeous views of the stars from the hot tub and decks at night. We also really enjoyed the ocean view from the master bedroom and sitting in the sun on the front deck.

Place was very beautiful, as well as the views! The house was perfect for the 13 of us plus our 2 dogs, didn’t feel too small or too big. There was lots to do for everyone. The house had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. The swimming pool was our favorite even if it was a bit cold for the weather but temperature ended up being great. My family and I would definitely love to come here again!

We came a second time to Fred’s river home oasis. Our kids love the grounds and the stream is so peaceful. Pool is delightfully warm and with a Forest view. Come here for a nature escape. We will be back!

Wonderful space for 5 friends, a dog and a baby! Gorgeous ocean view, right next to trails, and close to town. Kitchen was well-equipped for cooking on nights in. Main bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the sofa bed easily accommodated a single person. Would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! Beautiful ocean views from the living room and sunroom. The garden with Jacuzzi is lovely. Beds were very comfortable and art decor was interesting and cool. Robert was quick to answer any questions we had. We absolutely loved the house and would definitely stay again.

What a relaxing, beautiful place that’s both close to town and feels like a mountain getaway (great views!). Everything was wonderful, the beds were super comfortable, amenities at the house are just what you need, communication with the host was quick and helpful. Hosts were extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with. The guest house and grounds are exceptional. One could spend hours appreciating the art work and creative endeavors. The surrounding property is beautiful and peaceful. Extremely comfortable beds and as quiet as anyone could hope for.
