Beachfront holiday rentals in Folly Island

This place is wonderful for a family gathering! Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. This was our yearly family gathering and we like to cook all of our meals. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary cookware, dishes, glassware, etc. that you would need. Each bedroom was well stocked with blankets, pillows, towels, and washcloths for every guest. The bathrooms were super clean. The living room has an awesome sectional couch that is roomy enough for several adults and was a great place for napping and reading. We loved hanging out in the screened in areas upstairs and downstairs. The outside shower was fantastic! You will not need to bring anything for your beach trip as their downstairs closet was supplied with everything you would need for a day at the beach. The location is perfect, within walking distance to anything you may want to do. We would definitely recommend this for anyone!

Nice, relaxing, accommodating, peaceful location with a very short walk to the beach, a great view of the fish jumping in the pond, the geese taking a breather and the herons perching in the trees behind the house. The house itself was very clean and comfortable with most everything provided, including a dog (or child) gate for if needed. Sam, the host, is an excellent communicator and doesn't leave any stones unturned including friendly reminders the day of check-in and the night before check-out. He also provided recommendations for food, entertainment, and activities in the immediate area. We had an amazing trip and would definitely recommend to others!!

House accommodations were Amazing for our family. Steps from the beach, walkable to many restaurants and shops, guide book provided with local recommendations. The unit was comfortable, homey, well stocked, and Huge❣️ Right next to Pier 101. Our only disappointment was no beach chairs available in the unit. At this price point, we would’ve expected they be provided and available. Our first family visit to Charleston/Folly Beach, would definitely return❣️. Thank you Alison.

Our family of 4 had an amazing time! The property is so peaceful, and you’re only a short walk or drive from the beach and pools. Tyler is amazingly communicative, helpful, and seems to truly want you to have a wonderful experience. Everything is just as it is pictured, including the beach wagon, toys, umbrellas. Our kids are 3 and 7, and they loved watching the wildlife from the deck. We were initially a little worried about the kids navigating the spiral staircase, and when we arrived we found they supply a baby gate that fits all the way around the railing and openings. It really eased our minds. If you like the idea of being submerged in nature by the beach, don’t hesitate to book this rental! We’ll return for sure!

Surf Song Cottage is beautifully decorated, clean and has an incredible location steps from the beach. The homes large windows and deck allowed for amazing views. The kitchen contained everything we needed. The bedrooms were comfortable and the master bathroom was absolutely beautiful. The house rules did not bother us a bit...we played music at a reasonable level and had no problems. After seeing a protected turtle nest on the beach right in front of the cottage which was very exciting, we understood why bright lights and loud music rules are necessary. Thank you Steve and Sarah for great communications and sharing your beautiful cottage.

Such a wonderful home, beautiful kitchen, porch, yard, so enjoyable. I enjoyed the reading material. Walking distance to the beach. Great neighborhood. Host communicated right away and asked if there was anything I needed. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful cottage with all the Charleston vibes. The house is quaint and cozy but offered plenty of room for our entire party of 8. Getting to the beach is super convenient with the tree covered path being right across the street and it was just a couple minutes drive to all the shops and restaurants. Its close enough to walk, too if you don't mind a little longer walk. I ran downtown both morning for coffee! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing but fun trip!

We had a wonderful relaxing vacation. Close to Charleston and the beach but far enough away to be private and relaxing. House was clean with a great layout. Enjoyed the dock and the screened in porch. Will be the go to location when visiting the area.

Really nice condo for the location at Wild Dunes. So easy to get to the beach. Mona was extremely responsive and helpful.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in the condo. The view was fantastic. The bed was very comfortable and the whole unit was very clean and made you feel right at home. The only downside was the close beach access was closed due to dune work but that was not the hosts fault at all. We would love to come back!

We loved our stay at IOP and would gladly come back! Great location and just enough space for my husband and I!

Everything was awesome. The only negative was we didn’t end up getting check-in access until about 5pm the first day, but we did get an hour later checkout. Would stay again for sure

Stayed for a few days with our small family. Grateful for the easy walks to the beach and the pool. There was plenty of play gear available for the beach. The kitchen was well stocked for a good cup of coffee and to accommodate some simple meals for our picky children. Great views in the morning, too!

An ideal sisters' getaway! This home is sparkling clean and so inviting. The stocked kitchen was a huge plus for easy meals, and we loved having both beach and pool access. A truly great stay!

Great stay! We had a wonderful time at this beautiful condo. It was very clean and very well stocked. Our favorite was the view sitting out on the screened in porch. We would definitely stay here again. Look forward to our next visit!

Really appreciated being able to leave my car in the driveway after checkout so i could grab a few hours on the beach!

We enjoyed our stay for several nights! Can't beat the location & scenery! The inside is just like the photos. The King bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. Short walk out to the beach/ocean. We really enjoyed sitting on the screened porch. We enjoyed eating at the Seacow & Crust pizza place. Crissy is a great host! We will return.

We stayed for 2 nights. It was incredibly relaxing watching and listening to the waves on the deck. Walked to dinner at Rita’s one night and walked to dinner at Taco Boy the other night. We love this condo and the location can’t be beat. Ocean, shops and dinner all right where you want!

We had the best vacation! We loved the size of the condo for our family of 6. The view is so good even though you have to cross a small one way road(watch out people drive fast). Saw dolphins everyday. We didn't have to get in the car once. This is our new favorite beach!

Catrina's townhouse was perfect for our family of 6 adults, one toddler and a baby. We especially liked the location as you could walk to the beach and restaurants and yet get to Charleston fairly quickly for sightseeing and doing things in the city. Catrina supplied beach toys/chairs/towels and a wagon for loading up to take to the beach which we really appreciated. There were also bikes we could use and two kayaks(although we didn't use the kayaks). She instructed us what to expect upon arrival and what supplies were provided before we arrived so we could pack or pick them up before arriving which was nice as it seemed a little different than some things on the west coast. We had a great time and would highly recommend this for a family get away!

We loved our stay close to the beach and shops/restaurants.

There are three (I think) condos in this building. We stayed in Captains Quarters which was a no frills place for one...two people was a little tight. Could use some updates and updated pics on website; cute decor. The location was absolutely perfect. Quiet location and easy walk to beach. Parking was perfect. We borrowed beach chairs and towels from on-site caretaker, Roger. Thank you!

Lindsey is a great host. She responds very quickly with any of your needs. Her home is a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the quiet side of Folley. Its a wonderful home to just enjoy the view of the ocean, with the beach just a few feet away. Being close to the dead end makes the traffic almost non existing . Peaceful !! Thank you for letting us share your home .We will be back .Lori and Joel
