House holiday rentals in Fenland District

Lauren was a fabulous host, nothing was too much trouble. My request for a birthday cake for one of our party was met with "I can arrange that for you and would you like candles and balloon decorations too." I got the brownie points but Lauren did all the work. The accommodation was beautiful on arrival and it bought on some very happy birthday tears. Spotlessly clean and furnished to a high standard throughout, and it comes with a nice little private garden. The site is wonderful and has everything you could need, from a good breakfast to some lovely walks around fishing lakes. My girls had a wonderful long weekend at Laurens accommodation and,although not home yet, are already planning a return trip. Thanks again Lauren... 5*.

From 1st contact, Patricia was quick to reply & friendly. Her lodge was spotless and equipped with everything u cld want. Welcome pack of bread / milk etc such a lovely thought. Flowers and plants around the lodge are absolutely beautiful! The park itself is so peaceful. Would definately recommend

We had a wonderful stay at Fring Estate - the Market Square House, garden, pool and surrounding walks are beautiful. We were welcomed with the most delicious homemade brownies and Victoria and the team could not have been more accommodating - it was the perfect place to catch up with friends who live all over the UK - the bbq was on all weekend because we finally had some sun! We wouldn’t change a thing and can’t wait to bring the children and dog back next year. Thank you, this really is a hidden gem and we’re so pleased we’ve discovered it!

Outstanding in every way. This cottage is worth more than 5* it simply cannot be beat. We have been to a lot of nice properties but Richard and Jo have made this property and their 16 acre land simply beautiful. Very nice people as well.

Jean is a great host- very welcoming, clear instructions and interesting local recommendations. Waterside Retreat is in a smashing location, right on the small lake, close to the country club. The lodge is spacious, clean and well stocked with everything you might need for your holidays and more. We also used the gym- it was well equipped, had a delicious Sunday roast at the country club and walked the dog along the nature trail and to Tydd St Giles- surroundings are very peaceful and beautiful. Uber-eats delivered to our lodge, no problem. Also, it was an easy 1 hour drive to Cambridge to soak up some culture. Overall a great Easter break, in a fabulous lodge.

This is a gorgeous cottage set in the middle of countryside (but easy to get out & about in the car). The kitchen is huge and with everything you need, with several options for outdoor dining to make the most of the lovely garden. Beds are comfy with decent sized rooms, but the standout attraction is of course the pool…heated so that we (with two young kids) could enjoy it for several hours each day of our stay without anyone getting bored or chilly. Lorna & Dean v friendly & helpful hosts. Highly recommend; only caveat - while we had a great weekend here with our toddler in tow, we were outdoors for most of the time; the cottage is decorated beautifully and has flagstone flooring throughout the downstairs which are not always compatible / relaxing with an energetic 2 year old.

What can I say about The Firs? The word luxury doesn't do it justice, as soon as we walked through the door we were in ore of the building and it's surroundings. The amenities were fantastic, our personal favourites being the balcony with sun lounges, hot tub and pool table! The house is also decorated with a stylish, luxurious The decor. The kitchen is a stand out feature The owners were reliable, had brilliant communication and even gave us a recommendation to a beautiful restaurant called Quayside Hotel! They couldn't do enough. The on site groundsman was also super friendly and even borrows us his tandem bike! We will be back next year!

Celesta has been a great host from first booking 8 months before, communicating through out answering any questions, helpful advice and letting me know when issues arose - and going above and beyond to have everything sorted for our arrival. Lovely stay had everything we needed, perfect location, train station walkable straight into the city within 10 minutes.

This is an ideal place if you need somewhere peaceful in the area … lovely annex to the house and completely private

This was a work trip so its location is ideal. There is a riding school on the premises and you can see the horses from the back garden which is fab. Nice and peaceful everything you could want. It's a great house every thing you could want.

We had a fantastic stay at Roman House! Everything was pristine when we arrived and we were welcomed in in person. The house is fantastic! Ample space and excellent facilities. The children LOVED the cinema room! We had a fantastic evening cooking marshmallows on the fire in the garden. The garden was beautifully done and well equipped. The beds were very comfy and we all slept well.

From booking - checkout Michelle & Steve were the most amazing hosts. Incredible communication, flexible with check in & check out & very personable. As for the property, it’s gorgeous. We were a family of 5 adults and the house suited us perfectly. It’s finished to the highest possible standard with everything you could ever need (and more!). The personal touches gave the properly a very luxurious feel. Thanks so much! Should we return to Spalding in the future, we’ll be sure to be back x

Fantastic new build accommodation, great for me and my colleagues working in local area

The house was exactly as described, with a local store and pub within walking distance. It had all the necessary amenities and comfortable bedrooms. The instructions and communication from the hosts were clear and helpful. We had a comfortable stay in this house.

A beautiful place to stay. Perfectly described and spotlessly clean. Watch the cab fares though because very expensive. Would definitely stay again.

This is our second stay at Nicola's place and it feels a home from home. It's very clean, and modern throughout. It's easily walkable to the train station, Tesco, and town, as well as to lovely riverside walks. Nicola is an incredibly responsive host. She was flexible too, allowing us to drop off our bags early, whilst the cleaner was still cleaning, and messaging us as soon as the property was clean so we could go there a bit earlier than initially stated. The place is well cared for, with the gardener being there during our stay, and the window cleaner there during our previous stay. Would definitely recommend.

As soon as we saw the Garden House we relaxed straight away, it is a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful scenery and birds. Isabel’s handbook had lots of information and great instructions to walk around the estate and meet the sheep. The welcome pack was superb! Thankyou! We slept so well with the bird song waking us. We did venture out but it was great to get back to the comfort of the Garden house. I met Isabel who is a wonderful lady. We do hope to be back again Mary and David

From the outside, a normal terrace but on the inside a tardis of style, space and amazing light! A real treat of a house with everything you need for a short or long break. A 5 minute walk to the Riverside and not much longer to Ely centre for shops, eateries and the Cathedral. Michael is a great host and is always in touch if needed to answer any questions. We will be back!

The Old Piggery was a beautiful and seclusive cabin with plenty to do within walking or a short drive distance! The premises was spotless when we arrived with the bonus amenities adding to our lovely stay. Everything was perfect and we could not ask for a better, cosy stay in the countryside.

Excellent host. Property as described very comfortable sitting area and useful kitchen space. Nice shower room. Property very well located just a short walk to town and all amenities. Emily's Place was just perfect for us. We visit Cambridgeshire a lot and our daughter now lives in Ely with her family. Within ten minutes walking distance of the centre of Ely, the accommodation was just what we were looking for. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need for your stay. The beds were very comfortable indeed. We really enjoyed sitting with the French windows open listening to the birdsong, and also spending (a lot of) time sitting in the delightful garden area outside the cottage. We also chatted with Emily's Dad and Mum, which was lovely.
