Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Fairview

I had a little trouble getting in with the keypad, but that is probably more about my lack of knowledge with keypad entries. 😂 The home was spotless when we arrived and we filled it with lots of laughter and fun! The back deck was amazing - even in a gentle rain. And, our last night there we enjoyed a fire in the fire pit. Mike and Cate were INCREDIBLY helpful and communicative. They answered every question within minutes and made us feel well taken care of. Departure was easy and they requested minimal prep for departure. They made staying at their home easy and comfortable. 👍

This is a great location close to Ashville but feels out in the wilderness. The house has everything you need inside, great deck space and fire pit plus the mattresses were high quality.

This house is perfect for a getaway to unplug and take in the beautiful surroundings. The view is absolutely stunning during the day, and stargazing in the hot tub at night is also an incredible view. The beds were very comfortable. The fenced in yard is also great for guests with pets. Would definitely come back!

We had such a terrific time at this home. George was amazing from the very beginning. I had several questions before the booking, and he answered them thoroughly and with extreme friendliness. The layout of the house was perfect for our large group. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen was amazingly stocked and large enough for several People to prepare food at the same time. The outdoor space is absolutely incredible and the reason I chose this property. The deck is large with plenty of seating and the scenery is soothing and ideal for getting away from daily life stress! We will absolutely stay here again. Thank you, George!!

I can’t say enough about Tracey’s home. It was warm and inviting. The setting in the woods is a true escape. Tracey’s attention to detail is commendable. Everything is nicely labeled, so there is no guessing where items go. The home is spacious, spotless, and well equipped for a large group with everyone having privacy. The master bedroom and bathroom are phenomenal. Absolutely one of the best Airbnb’s our family has stayed in. Convenient to Asheville too! I highly recommend Tracey’s home.

We had a great time! There were a couple of issues with the internet, but they worked to resolve the best they could. It's a very remote house so we were thankful for the internet we had. I would choose this place for a vacation location, but not a working remotely location if you had to conduct video calls throughout your day. We would recommend having a vehicle with good clearance when driving up the gravel road or plan to drive really slow. While there, we were blessed to wake up to a black bear (about 100 lbs) right outside the house up the tree. It was our highlight of the trip while there. While the place is remote, we found it very pleasant to drive the 15 minutes into town or 25 minutes to roll into Asheville. The views are outstanding on the back deck!

This Airbnb was everything I needed. Clean, brightly lit with sunlight, and beautifully decorated. I was caring for a family member locally, and this provided the perfect place to return to at night, and to work from as needed. I was especially grateful for the decor and the many windows. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, spacious house on a stunning property that could not be beat! 30-45 minutes drive to Asheville and hikes in the area. The host provided proactive, detailed instructions for check in and was responsive throughout our stay. Would definitely come back!

We loved this visit! The house was perfect - super clean and well provisioned, it had a great vibe, awesome collection of books, chill deck out back - and a couple of cold beers in the fridge, as well as some locally sourced snacks, upon our arrival were very much appreciated. Michele was friendly, responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The neighborhood was quite rustic and very walkable. Only about 20 minutes to downtown via either a scenic walkway or through the neighborhood. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend staying here if you are traveling to Asheville!

We enjoyed our stay. Rodney and Dulcy were very accommodating. Their apartment is conveniently close to a relative we were visiting in Woodfin.

This was one of my best Airbnb experiences (and I had many). Traci’s spot is perfect for a couple or solo. Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful surrounding. Easy to find. And the inside is perfect for travelers - everything is thought through, every detail, from the spoon for the creamer to the cosy rug for the feet by the bed which made me feel very taken care of during our stay. The bed is super comfortable. The space is very nicely decorated. I felt like I was at a cool gallery. Thank you, Traci, for hosting us!

We spent 3 days at Dawn and Ron’s Asheville home. Their space was very clean, smelled nice, and had every convenience you could possibly need. Unfortunately it was rainy during our trip so we didn’t take advantage of the outdoor amenities like the patio/grill or the goats, but they did greet us with wagging tails as we came and went! Loved the waffle bar and complimentary coffee - such nice touches that made breakfast a breeze! Also loved that they provided toiletries and washer/dryer. This space provided all the comforts of home, about 15 minutes to all the AVL activities. Dawn and Ron were very communicative and kind hosts. Would recommend their home to anyone!

From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless—check-in was a breeze, the space was spotless, and every little detail felt thoughtfully curated. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. The home was cozy, stylish, and had all the comforts you’d hope for (plus a few extra touches that made it feel special). Communication was quick and friendly, and they made sure I felt welcome the entire time. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay. Cindi was friendly, hospitable, and gave us great recommendations of things to do and places to eat nearby. We would stay there again.

Sweet upstairs unit surrounded by lovely greenery. Easy check in experience with easy going hosts that like to accommodate. Close to downtown Weaverville but down a lovely dead end road with very little traffic and pastoral views.

We had a wonderful stay in Asheville, and we're very comfortable in this peaceful setting. Kelle and Max have created a beautiful space to stay. It's very clean, well equipped, and all directions and instructions clear and helpful. Kelle is a famous communicator, and quick to respond. Many thanks to them for providing a space that enhanced our travel experience! I will be recommending this place to friends!

The cabin was lovely and we had a great time there . Communication with owners was easy and prompt. The cabin is hidden in the mountains , but easy to find and with good access . We felt safe . The cabin is 100 years old but beautifully renewed , without taking the feeling that you are in a traditional mountain cabin . We also enjoyed the nearby community and the kind people living in the area . We loved the stay and we plan to return .

We had a great time at the cabin. Beautiful area, peaceful surroundings and we loved the screened in porch. The road to the driveway is steep and a little worn down but we had no issues in our small SUV. Great place to watch birds and wildlife.

The house is a very cute out in the mountains! The creek in the backyard and the sauna are easily the highlights!

My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quaint cabin! The hot tub was such a nice treat for us. Everything went smoothly with checking in. Love that the place felt secluded and we could see the stars clearly at night!

Can't wait to come back! So glad to have found this beautiful gem. It was so peaceful & I loved seeing the sheep. Everything was smooth & clear in communication. One of my favorite parts was the hammock out front & all the cute and wonderful decor. Thank you Ms Sharon ~ we're so grateful !!

A beautiful, peaceful escape with a breath taking view. Everything was perfect. We hiked in 4 different areas, on 4 separate days, coming back to that sunset view every night. Ahhhh

We loved our time at the cabin and would totally come back again. It was uncluttered, super clean, very cozy, the bed was amazing, kitchen stocked with essentials. We cooked our own dinner over the fire and in the stove and it was perfect. We loved the record collection! Such a fun touch. We hope to come and stay again soon.

This place is incredible! It is a beautiful, thoughtful, and cozy home. I can’t say enough about how peaceful this place is for also being so close to in town amenities and hiking trails. All the host instructions were clear, every time I had a question I would read the guide first and my question was answered. We definitely plan on staying on our next WNC visit!
