A mountain villa built more than 100 years ago , implanted on an imposing rock with a unique surroundings and a breathtaking view over the sea the city , Cascais and the mountain where it is inserted . The house was recently refurbished and enlarged with a modern and design construction enjoying the view and surroundings . You can see it from the top of the Serra de Sintra, to Guincho to Cabo Espichel. A stone's throw from the pedestrian paths of the Serra de Sintra and its monuments and next to good restaurants , cafes with good atmosphere , the small village has a supermarket and pharmacy for your tranquility. Guests have at their disposal a house with 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen, totally private and access to a large garden with an infinite pool where they can enjoy the wonderful view. I live on the property and am available to share stories and information about the region. I love cycling and know the Serra like the back of my hand. I can share the secrets of the mountains and advise the best restaurants in the region. Malveira da Serra, picturesque village next to Cascais and Lisbon (20 min), with hiking trails in Serra de Sintra and its monuments. Guincho Beach and its wild dunes with their unique beauty are a paradise for surfing/kite-surfing/windsurfing. I advise you to use your own car.

The grandmother's house corresponded exactly to the photos, it was very well equipped, well cared for and was very welcoming, in which we felt as if we were at home. It has a pleasant outdoor space and it is possible to park on the premises. In addition, it is well located about 10 minutes from the beaches of Sesimbra. From the beginning, we felt well received by Gonçalo, who always responded whenever we had any questions, as well as by Mr. Afonso, who received us in a very friendly way and was always available to help us. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a few days in Sesimbra, whether you go as a couple or with small children!

NEW - Luxury Beach Front

A great place to relax after the experience of the capital. The apartment is on the first floor in a cliff building directly on the sea ,which gives a beautiful view from the balcony to the beach and the ocean from above, and at the same time avoids the sounds of beach goers and gives you a lot of privacy. A beautiful view, a well-equipped kitchenette, a comfortable bed, and a hammock on the terrace make us not want to leave the apartment at the beginning… There is an elevator in the building (there is a local tribunal in the same building) and a direct descent to the beach only accessible to locals, but the last stretch you have to walk up several dozen stairs. There are shops, small and bigger restaurants, and a local market, but the apartment is a few minutes walk (on the hill), off the beaten path from the sounds of nightlife. Above the town is the remains of a large castle from which the towers can be admired. There are several other interesting places nearby, but for us it was a rather wonderful place to relax after Lisbon.

We had an amazing time in this spectacular apartment. The photos don't do it justice. We were greeted by the hosts, who were very helpful and attentive throughout the stay. We had a great time snorkeling/ scuba diving in the sea, with lots of interesting marine life to see. The food and restaurants were lovely, with various options to choose from. All the people we met were incredibly friendly. It was easy to travel to from Lisbon via taxi, but may pose a slight challenge to access if you have mobility difficulties, as it is up a hill and accessible via road or several flights of stairs from the beach. Overall, I would definitely recommend visiting this amazing apartment and Sesimbra! We hope to return!

Mario place was absolutely beautiful. it is immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and very welcoming. Mario is an incredible host and helped us with restaurants reservations as well as local recommendations. We felt right at home and truly enjoyed our stay.
