Dalasetur was outstanding. The surrounding views exceeded any expectation that was set. Daniel & Stefán's hospitality was warm and welcoming. I whole heartily recommend staying here.

Kaldbakur’s cottages is a special spot near Husavik. We had bad weather in our trip or else we could have taken more of the amenities but even still our stay was great. Before arriving the host sent us clear instructions about how to get access to the cabin which was contact free. Rolling up to the cottage the view was majestic. Inside we were able to get settled quickly and there were detailed information packets. They go to extraordinary efforts to stay environmental. The beds were quite soft. The blankets were super warm. On our departure day the weather finally cleared up and we were able to see tons of bird families during our short walk around the property. Husavik is also a great spot to stay. We chose it over Mývatn and were glad for it. One word of warning is the rooms are quite compact so if don’t expect to have place to store your luggage open. For us we had the luggage closed up in the common area and made use of the plentiful hooks for our immediate needs.

Very nice airbnb, Dagny was very nice, helpful and you could reach out to her whenever you need. Very quiet and beautiful spot. Can highly recommend staying there! Thank you Dagny!

A very cozy and peaceful cabin in a beautiful surrounding. We were 7 people in total, and we fit very well in the cabin.

This was a great cabin just a few minutes outside of Húsavík! It was so cozy. We wish we had more time to explore the surroundings. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely cabin in the middle of nowhere. Our cabin was number 3a and looks better than the actual photos. Warm and cozy both rooms bathroom and main room. It has a big window great to see the Northern lights (although we couldn’t see them). The place was clean and had a comfy bed.

Such a beautiful and private location. We thought the cabin was very homely and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay very much! The only suggestion I’d make is to amend the listing to say it has an oven as opposed to a microwave, because we brought food to microwave thinking that’s the option we had. Such a great place though and we would definitely stay again 😊

this cabin is a recent build in a stunning location and nicely staged. the beds were comfortable and the linens all high end. the small kitchenette is suitable for very light meals, i.e. soup and sandwiches. a very lovely cabin in a peaceful setting. .

Clean, looks very new, good beds. Great environment, beautiful valley with great hiking oppurtunities. I really recommend booking the breakfast, we got f.ex. among other things smoked salmon and smoked trout, on freshly baked bread, yummy :)

Wonderful stay in a cozy cottage. The natural thermal pool was a highlight!

The cabin was well equipped with plenty of seats at the large table for meals. Would have liked enough soft furniture seating for more than 3 people but we made it work. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Very cozy cottage! Enjoyed waking up to the Mountain View’s and animals on the property! Bathroom was clean and host provided extra towels and blankets!

very nice little cabin. downstairs a double bed and under the roof two single beds. Kitchen furnished with the most necessary. On foot, you can quickly reach the hot pot, which offers a great Aussicgt and which guests are allowed to nurture. The cabin is very quiet and privately located. By car only 5 minutes to Husavik and the nearest shopping.

The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Super easy access. Every little detail was thoughtfully prepared, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Beautiful mountain house (like a chalet) with a spectacular view! The weather in Iceland can vary from sunny to snowy in a day and this location got a lot of snow while we were there; make sure you come with a 4x4 car if you don’t want to be stuck when it snows.

Very welcoming and attentive owner, a big thank you for letting us have the big cottage! Clean and welcoming cottage with all the necessary equipment. The home is in a nice setting! I recommend it.

Excellent cabin in a great location half an hour from Húsavík and half an hour from Lake Mývatn. Clean and warm, we spent two great nights.

Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the area more!
