Lake house holiday rentals in Evergreen Lake

We really enjoy the Fairplay area and have visited several times but this was our first time at this home. The neighborhood is very easy to get to and very quiet. We especially loved the pond. We saw 2-3 moose every day we were there. We also had deer, magpies and ducks visit the pond area. The outside space is very peaceful and relaxing. We did have a couple of neighborhood dogs run up to the house but they were pretty friendly. We enjoy hiking the Pika and Pennsylvania trails which are not too far away.

We greatly enjoyed our long weekend stay in Daniel's container home. It was modern, lovely and fun. Very much as pictured. Beds were comfortable, an assortment of pillows and light blocking drapes in the bedrooms. We could have spent all day gazing at the views from the great room or deck but we had hikes to do and towns nearby to visit. We recommend.

David was an amazing and responsive host! Beautiful, clean home. My family loved the pool and lake front views! We will be back!

The Farm House was amazing!! Beautiful place - Exactly as pictured and described. Preston was a wonderful host and we were greeted with such a thoughtful welcome basket. The place was pristine and the surrounding mountains and the little mountain lake made for a peaceful and relaxing time. Preston has kayaks for the lake and a ton of local recommendations. He was very responsive to all of my questions. The house was amazingly furnished and decorated - All appliances are top of the line. Preston left nothing to chance and he also made certain we had plenty of coffee and teas with multiple ways to prepare them! If you are looking for serene atmosphere, a relaxing location and just outside Denver in the mountains - Then The Farm House should be your destination!! Thank you Preston for a wonderful stay!!

From start to finish, our experience at this Airbnb was absolutely fantastic! The host/Amanda was incredibly welcoming and responsive, and providing clear instructions that made our stay so much easier. The property itself was stunning – beautifully decorated, spotless, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Location-wise, it was ideal. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience, and we would not hesitate to book again next time we’re in the area. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

The house was clean, well stocked with complimentary snacks, trashbags, laundry detergent, towels etc. The Views and proximity to hiking, biking, and other amenities in Idaho Springs was ideal for our stay. The house is modern, comfortable and well laid out. My Wife and daughter particularly enjoyed the reading nook. The kids made use of the host provided snow sleds as there was no shortage of snow during our stay. We saw a resident Bull Moose lumbering around multiple times and even watched it mill around the edge of the pond while we were in the hot tub! In addition to the Moose we saw Mule deer and a Coyote/Wolf-(not sure which). The frequent wildlife sightings and snow really made the stay unique and memorable for us and the kids! You really can’t get the same experience staying in town. Ashlyn was an incredible host and was quick to respond to any questions we asked. Highly recommend this host and stay. -Dustin-

Shakti’s place was GORGEOUS!! It was nice and clean, beautiful views from the deck and fully stocked with things you may need like towels, robes, and even fuzzy slippers! This place was magical, I would definitely stay here again!

This was our first time using an Airbnb and it was a great place to stay. There were four of us staying here. This was in the basement of a home, but it was very comfortable and felt private. The bed was comfy and there were many basic amenities which was very much appreciated. There were games for entertainment and a television with an over abundance of channels. The steps however were a little steep, which made it somewhat hard for my 80 yr old husband to use. Barbara has done a wonderful job in setting up this little apartment. Definitely worth the money for the stay. Thank you Barbara!

I often stay in the area where Anne's home is located to visit my nearby family. The neighborhood is charming, quiet and is conveniently located near several major roads and highways. Though I travel by car, I noticed the train station is a short walk away, as are several stores and restaurants. I had easy access to all the places I like to go when I visit, including downtown Denver, the Sloan's Lake area, and many good restaurants. The Airbnb space was larger than I needed, but I was happy to have it! The bedroom I chose to sleep in (there are 2) was quiet, and dark and had a very comfortable bed! I slept great. Anne herself is very kind and gracious.

The home was lovely and just as pictured! I had some questions and Regan responded immediately! Plenty of places within walking distance. We had a great experience!

Great place! Super close to everything we needed. 30 mins to grocery store but a beautiful drive on the way. Peak to peak was a great drive. Highly recommend this to any family or group. Great host!

The Golden Moose was absolutely amazing!! Everything we needed for the weekend was there. Kym was very helpful and provided clear instructions for check in and check out. The amenities were great and the hot tub was super easy to use as everything was set up for us. Highly recommend this place as it will be a stress free experience.

April's place was perfect for our little Denver getaway. Close to Golden and the freeway made it very easy to get around. The lower unit was very spacious and well stocked. Being the lower unit you did year steps from above but, we not bothersome and quiet through sleeping hours. The window AC units were well appreciated in the Denver heat. The backyard area was spacious and relaxing and would be perfect if you brought your pup. Our favorite part was the ping pong machine, we had so much fun! Would stay at April's place again.

What an amazing place!! Definitely off the beaten path, but couldn’t ask for a more stunning set of views, sunrises, sunsets, and serene surroundings. Wanted to book a private mountain cabin, got everything we wanted and more. The deck is great, the pellet stove is iconic, and the kitchen is great. Truly enjoyed every bit of this trip. Pretty close to town for food, gas, and groceries. Very comfortable furniture and bedding. Possibly the best morning coffee drinking spot I’ve ever stayed at.

The location was perfect for our family. Close to hiking and biking trails. Enjoyed fishing close by and neighborhood moose. Maddy and Brian’s place was very homey and easy to relax. Looking forward to a future stay.

This is a small, ground-floor one-bedroom condo that is a three minute walk to the Gondola. Comfy small bedroom. Nice largish bathroom. Good fold out couch. Small table that fits four. Perfect for 2 or 3 adults, or two adults and two kids. Everything inside seems new. (Looks like a complete renovation within the past year – we could not find a ding in the paint anywhere.) Good set of kitchen stuff. Anything that might be problematic (e.g., how to pull out the couch or whether the window lock is on or off) is clearly marked. A surplus of hangers. Plenty of towels. One gets the sense of a host who has thought through everything. The management company is a mile down the road and was pleasant and helpful in picking up the keys. If you want a reasonably priced place right by the slopes I can't imagine anything better.

We LOVED this home! It was beautiful, cozy, and had a well stocked kitchen which I always appreciate. The home was clean and was set up beautifully. Having a large, clean garage and access to a gym + jacuzzi was such a plus. This was perfect for our group.

This is the second spring break we have spent at this beautiful home. We enjoyed our time here just as much this time as we did last year. It’s truly a clean, lovely space with spectacular views.

Robert’s home was perfect for my family and I. Robert was very responsive when we had any questions and never left us waiting. The home was beautiful and the location was quiet and peaceful with plenty to do in the area. I would absolutely recommend staying here and plan on staying here again if im back in the area in the future.

This was our second time staying in Summit Sky Ranch, and it was just as amazing as we remembered! The location is perfect—just a short drive to Vail Ski Resort, making it incredibly convenient for skiing and exploring the area. The amenities at Summit Sky Ranch are top-notch, from the relaxing clubhouse with a hot tub to the scenic views nearby. The home itself is beautifully maintained, spacious, and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely return again. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a mountain getaway with luxury and convenience!

we felt really comfortable it was like being at our home, we has a good view of the lake, local breakfast restaurant was good, we got to see local wildlife we don't have they opportunity while eating, the choo-choo train was an experience something once again we don't experience. we would deffo come back to it.

Great location for us on this trip and super clean. Kitchen worked out great for breakfast each morning
