The Old Farmhouse was one of the best equipped Airbnbs that we have ever stayed in. We particularly loved the hot tub and the four ponies/donkeys. Although you can walk around the fields surrounding the house, you have to drive to Finchingfield for food and drink etc. We had a Sainsbury’s supermarket delivery which worked well.

Thank you for such a wonderful stay. A very relaxing cottage with lots of things to do around. Perfect for a relaxing weekend where you don’t need to leave the place. The cottage was beautiful and incredibly clean. We will definitely return.

Our second stay here. It’s a really nice place, peaceful, just as described and with charming hosts. The experience with Holiday Cottages was a little impersonal but Peter & Karen, the owners, couldn’t be more attentive.

Loved the accommodation there is a big step from the veranda so be careful it was so nice to get in from a busy day sightseeing and jump in the hot tub.

we have stayed at the cottage before and it never fails .When we stepped in it felt like coming home !!!! . the secure parking and lovely garden are such a bonus,as is the hot tub. lovely pub next door with great food .Rowland gives clear instructions about access and the keyless entry makes coming and going so easy,no worries about who has the key !!! if you are looking for cozy and quirky this is the place.

Lovely property and was so nice to have use if a private pool and hot tub. Beautiful outlook from an upstairs living space. Local pub The Alma did lovely food, highly recommend. The owner John was very responsive to any questions we had. Would recommend.

Lovely converted modernised farm building with everything you'd need. Great for a weekend getaway from it all. Is it peaceful? Depends on your own view. There were loads of chattering birds, which we loved. But do note, property is located under Stansted airport flightpath but it didn't bother us.

A great place to stay. Very easy check in. Lovely location. Charlie was very helpful when we had a booking query…very friendly and supportive. Have already booked to return 👍😊 and very much looking forward to staying there again in November 😊

We had a wonderful stay at Kitchen Hall cottages - the swimming pool made it very special for our 4 year old!! Wendy and Max were very responsive and we appreciated their recommendation to visit The Rainbow and Dove - the food was delicious! We visited Hatfield Forest National Trust for a big walk too - it was lovely and would recommend this.

It’s the cutest and the tiniest house on Mersea island. Lovely staying there. The location is brilliant too, right near the sea and the fishing boats.

We had a great stay at Lychgate House, it felt like a real home from home. Everything was good and as described and shown in the photos. On top of that the bed was very comfy and it was so quiet at night. Lovely to hear the church bells in the daytime. Marie was a great host, very friendly and helpful.

This was a fantastic place to stay. Clean and tidy and incredibly spacious overlooking a beautifully private and serene landscape in the backyard. A great location and close to town and all facilities.

Wonderful stay, such a shame we only arrived for 1 night, perhaps next time we will organise our diary better, so the full weekend would be perfect! Great place, walking distance to the beach (like 2min walk! which was perfect for our little kids) and I wouldn’t change a thing! We so hope so to be back!

Great hosts, very friendly. Very pretty location, we were able to walk in the large garden and enjoy the views. Cottage was very well equipped, fresh milk, bread and eggs left for us, even supplied tea, coffee and cooking condiments. Soaps and washing powder also supplied. Very comfortable beds, all towels supplied. The only let down was the wifi connection which kept dropping even after resetting the router numerous times. Was also not always able to use 4G as the property was quite remote. Otherwise was lovely, highly recommend their property.

This is our second time in Great Amwell and when looking around it was a no brainer that it was going to be Sarah's place - what a lovely couple of days! Sarah is an amazing host, super welcoming, warm and very flexible too. Sarah's place was exactly how we needed it to be - clean, well equipped and it felt like home. We hope to be back again soon. Sarah and Scott are wonderful hosts. They are friendly and welcoming yet valued our privacy. The independent suite was super clean and cozy, and had everything we needed. The property itself is in a rural area, which we appreciated for its peacefulness, but it does require a car.

We stayed for 2 nights as we were attending a funeral at Old Park Meadow, just a few minutes drive away. This was a perfect place to return to after a sad day, lovely location by the brook and the surrounding countryside was very pretty. The apartment had everything that we needed, including a cafetière for fresh coffee in the morning. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well. Great hosts.

I’ve used Airbnb in Leigh on many occasions and can honestly say this is the best. The cottage was immaculate catering for every need. Lovely garden with panoramic sea views. Easy reach of the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. Would definitely choose this cottage every time and highly recommend it. Host Cindy was great too.

Debs and Lucy are great hosts and we really enjoyed our stay at Drake Cottage. Set in a lovely quiet part of Saffron Walden but within walking distance to the the town which is full of great shops and amenities. The cottage is fully equipped with everything to make it the perfect stay. I thought the bathrobes were a nice touch. We will definitely be making a return visit.
