Cabin holiday rentals in Essex

Literally the perfect place for a weekend getaway — hot tub, bbq, and firepit - plus a walk to a good pub nearby. Had an amazing time and all went very smoothly. Will definitely be coming back!

Such a great place! The best views, you really feel you’re in nature. The hot tub is great and the cabin was lovely and warm! Great amenities, and even provides robes and slippers for the hot tub! Can’t recommend it enough, a truly wonderful stay!

Beautiful stay. Fantastic surroundings and location. The lodge was homely and the pots of jam and fudge were tasty. Also the hot chocolate/coffee machine with mint chocolates was so nice! Would love to come back and stay again.

Thanks to Amanda and Adam for a great 3 nights at the Silver Birch Lodge. It was so much to do and the hot tub and fire pit was so amazing… We learnt how to build a fire pit as never done this before so was a good experience. Me and my 8 year old took the bikes out and went around the village with some spectacular views and really friendly people. If you are looking to relax and get away for a few days then this is the place to come really nice from start to finish… Thanks again for being amazing hosts and will definitely come back again!!!

We stayed in May half term, beautiful lodge in a peaceful place and with everythingyou need, the hot tub eas a lovely addition and the kids really enjoyed that. Would definitely go back, Jessica was a great host and we had a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful time at the Bothy! The location was beautiful with views over the vineyard and countryside. The Bothy had everything we needed, with great attention to detail. We loved the hot tub and fire pit and couldn’t recommended this stay enough! A perfect bank holiday get away from London. We enjoyed walking in the local countryside and even went on a day trip to Cambridge which was really easy- we just got the park and ride which is about 50 mins away. Thank you for having us :) we will be back!

We rented John’s hut to spend a day at the beach with friends. The hut was exactly as described and very well located, close to the cafesnand shops, the toilets, and the parking spaces. It contained everything you can need for a perfect day at the beach! Would definitely recommend it and would consider renting it again in the future.

Lovely little cabin in a beautiful and peaceful location! Everything was to our liking, the hosts are warm and welcoming, and the cosy cabin was exactly what we needed! Everything was clean and tidy, and the back yard is just gorgeous!

We had a lovely stay. The cargo pod was just big enough for us and the facilities were great. The patio furniture could do with an update, but overall we are really happy

We had a lovely few days at the Mersea Retreat. It is very well equipped, comfortable and quiet and Emily is a very helpful host. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed walking on the beach and visiting the Mersea Island Museum. Hope to stay again. Many thanks.

Paulina went above and beyond make sure the caravan had all essentials. The caravan was clean and tidy, it felt homely. Perfectly situated by all amenities. Would definitely visit again

Chris and Brenda's lovely hideaway is in their secluded, tranquil, and beautifully maintained garden. Chris was very friendly, responsive and helpful from day one - we were visiting for a wedding and I was also doing the wedding cake. Chris kindly measured the fridge for me and took out the shelves so it could be put straight in upon our arrival. We were arriving late into the evening and Chris made sure to keep the security light on which was very thoughtful, and still made the effort to greet us in person to show us how things worked. The place is gorgeous - extremely clean, soft bedding and towels and has all you need. Would highly recommend!

An absolutely delightful Airbnb - a cabin in a lovely garden behind the owners' thatched cottage - quiet and secluded, and in a pretty village. The interior, of one large room en suite, is well laid out and tastefully decorated and furnished. Fresh flowers, and homemade flapjacks and elderflower cordial on arrival, were a nice touch. My wife and I are unfamiliar with Essex and were pleasantly surprised by the villages and surrounding countryside. We regret not staying longer to see more of the county. Next time perhaps!

Fantastic lodge, just as described, spotlessly clean, everything you could need. Ideally located to visit Maldon, Burnham, Leigh on sea etc. Good choice of country inns and cafes. Would definately stay again.

Adams Luxury Studios was an amazing place for us to stay while visiting. Amazing location being so close to the tube station and plenty surrounding shops and activities. 100% would recommend to anyone thinking of staying and would definitely stay again myself.

Our stay at the cabin was absolutely lovely. It was a last minute bookings but Alex and Amy were very helpfully. Before we arrived the heating was turned on so we arrived to a very toasty cabin :), there is two double beds, a very comfortable cosy front room area with a tv, the kitchen had everything you needed including a large fridge with a freezer, the surrounding were beautiful especially at night you can see a lot of stars, we did arrive later then normal so was a little bit hard seeing where we going as it was dark (that’s our fault) but Alex saw us a little confused on his drive and helped straight away, was very peaceful and quite area, was 5-10 mins drive from everything. Would 100% stay again.

We had a fantastic stay! The caravan was absolutely lovely — very clean, spacious, and well looked after. It had everything we needed and felt really comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect for the wedding we were attending nearby, it was walking distance to the venue which made everything so convenient. A big shoutout to the host Scarlet, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay — quick to respond and even offered to help with check-in. Truly top-notch customer service! Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you!

Lovely caravan just a few moments walk from the seafront and in a quiet corner of the park. Good walks in both directions where the dogs could have a good run. It is a perfect location to explore Mersea from. Great communication from Gemma and an easy and comfortable stay. Thank you!

Enjoyed our brief stay in the house. Nice quite area and very tidy and clean inside. It will be ideal for two people (highly recommend) and we were very grateful to be allowed to have our family of four fit in, which we did just fine.

Very unique experience staying at the cabin, had an incredible natural vibe to it. The location was great and the cabin itself had everything that was required, anwar was very good with communication and handled any requests promptly and effectively. Was a great stay and I hope you come back again soon.
