Waterfront holiday rentals in Esperanza

We spent 4 nights here in February and had a fantastic experience. The apartment was absolutely spotless, and the whole place is maintained with obvious care and pride. The location is quiet and peaceful, with a lovely waterfront view and a dock. Everything is freshly and colorfully painted. The staff are extremely friendly: they helped us find breakfast, they lent us beach towels, and they helped us find a golf cart to rent. There is a kitchen in the apartment, but there is also a shared outdoor kitchen, where we grilled dinner one evening, and met another guest who shared some of his food (pasteles - a Puerto Rican treat). To be clear, this is a hostel, not a hotel: you need to supply your own toiletries, you will be woken up by roosters in the morning, the shower water is not very hot, and you may encounter some mosquitos. But if you want a friendly, super-clean establishment with nice neighbors and good value, this is a great option. We loved this place and hope to come back.

Our stay at Sea Glass Loft was a wonderful experience. We were there for 1 month, and we had everything (and more) that we needed to prepare meals, feel at home and enjoy the gorgeous scenery and beaches. The beach is steps away and perfect for paddleboarding and snorkeling. Ricardo was very responsive and helpful during our stay.

We loved our stay here. It was so peaceful. We could hear and/or see the water from almost every room, and the roof top patio was a beautiful and relaxing retreat. The breeze coming in is perfect for the hotter days and the ACs in the bedrooms were great for sleeping. The location is a quick 7-10 min walk to the ferry and an easy 15 min walk into town. Checkin and checkout were straight forward, and communication with our host was great. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful gateway that is still close to amenities.

This was my 1st time in an Airbnb. Victoria's place by far exceeded my expectations. Her home is very beautiful. Such a summer fun beach vibe. All the amenities; beach towels, coolers, chairs cooking supplies, bbq grill even. The roof deck was lovely, also gorgeous furniture. It was nice to hang there in the evenings after a long day. Hear the Coquis and the roosters catch a sunset. ❤️ The location is in a quiet area. But very close to the Ferry and boating docks, and El Yunque and so many beautiful restaurants an beaches. We spent alot of time in Luquillo. The beaches are so pretty. could go on and on. Thank you so much, Victoria.We would definitely be back in the future.

Great place to stay!!! My husband couldn’t have picked a better place to spend my birthday!!! Beautiful apartment with modern furniture, ac in every room work great! It has a rooftop deck where you can enjoy the view to the ocean and the hills while listening to the nature and the famous coqui. Host was very attentive and quick to respond. I highly recommend this place!!! 💯 Note: Apartment is on the 3rd FL with no access to an elevator.

This was perfect for our trip! We enjoyed the dock area and amazing view of the bay! Staying at this central location made it easy for us to do lots of quick trips to the town’s bakery and restaurants as well as longer adventures to various beaches across the island. Thank you Azalea!

Los Cocos was the perfect getaway for a week. The home sits right on the ocean, and the first thing you notice upon arrival is the soothing sound of the waves. Rene welcomed us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the property. The house was spotless and just the right size for the two of us. Inside, the home features an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area. The furniture is comfortable and well-maintained, and the kitchen had everything we needed, though we only cooked breakfast. The house has one bathroom, which was in great working order. The two bedrooms are located off the main living space. While there’s no air conditioning, the ocean breeze keeps things comfortable most of the time. One night was particularly still, making it a bit warm for sleeping, but there are plenty of fans to help keep cool. The outdoor space is where we spent most of our time. There’s ample seating, along with two hammocks. The beach was an incredible bonus—we spent hours relaxing by the water

Our family of 7 enjoyed Sands Beachfront very much. From the private beach, the peaceful pool, and the breezy veranda. We had the upper unit so the views were spectacular. An added bonus is the farm next door that provided views of the horse with her pony, the roosters, and unexpected visits at the beach by sweet Bella the dog. It was our first time in beautiful Vieques and we were so lucky to have found this place to make our visit even more memorable.

From the moment I arrived, this place felt like a dream! The ocean views were literally breathtaking from every area of the house! It was Immaculately clean, very private, and peaceful! I felt like a celebrity in my own private retreat! The host was very helpful and responsive! If you're looking for a getaway that exceeds expectations in every way, this is it!

This house was absolutely amazing! I think it’s the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. It was perfect for our family of six. It was our first time visiting Vieques. We brought all four of our kids (ages 13,15,19, and 22). This home provided lots of comfortable space and beds for everyone. The house was very clean and well stocked. We really appreciated all the towels and the coolers. We packed our lunches every day for the beach. We loved all the outdoor spaces. Our kids loved swimming in the pool. My husband and I enjoyed coffee on the patios and even a couple naps in the hammocks. The property is beautiful and very peaceful. We helped ourselves to some delicious mangoes from the huge mango tree in the yard. It’s obvious that Jose and Melyssa put a lot of care into their property. They are wonderful hosts. We arrived a day late due to a flight delay. They were very understanding and responded quickly to our questions. We will definitely stay here again.

We had the most amazing stay. The home was beautiful and in great location. It contained everything we needed to be comfortable and even a few extras. Supermarket or a few blocks away as is the ferry and some great restaurants. Amazing sea glass beach is only a few steps away. We swam in the pool and listened and watched the ocean. It couldn’t have been better.

The home is not walkable into town, but we did not miss that at all, what we wanted was peace and quite, beach at our back door and privacy, we got all that! I recommend renting a car / jeep, David provided a detailed packet with anything you may need to do, see, rent, it was great. We spent most of our time outdoors on the beach and when it rained, which it does as it is the beach, we read in hammocks, ate lunch at the covered table, it was truly a paradise! The beach right at our doorstep is a public beach, but not much activity there at all, just locals and mostly on the weekend. Sunsets were stunning and worth every penny we paid for the home. Esperanza, 20 minute drive, is where you want to go for dinner, more beach, black sand beach is a 15 minute walk through the woods (get there by car), this was our favorite to walk and feel secluded, but there are beaches surrounding the island so you cannot go wrong! Highly recommend David's home!

We had a fantastic stay! The host was friendly and very communicative leading up to our visit, offering great tips and helpful information. Our family of four felt right at home. The house had everything we needed, and the location was perfect—close to town but still peaceful and relaxing. The views from the porch were absolutely stunning, and we spent a lot of time just soaking them in. Beds were super comfortable, and the A/C kept the whole house cool and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Overall great location, and beautiful view. clean and tidy with very friendly and responsive feedback from the host. one minor thing that seems rather temporary was the noise from the industrial air con, located nearby the building but still manageable and something we did get used to after first night.

This airbnb is exceptional. It has above and beyond amenities/stock like tin foil, sunscreen, beach towels, umbrella, beach game. Additionally- the views are wonderful, the ac works and the bed is comfy! Literally my only note for the whole place is that the pillows are intensely stuffed and for someone with neck problems this posed a difficulty for me- this is minor, but just wanted to note it. I hope to stay here again! I read reviews that said grocery store, etc was walkable and while this is true- I thought it would be helpful to know that the grocery and walgreens are across a pretty busy highway like road- so we drove even though it is right across the street. Luquillo which is walkable (by beach or street) or a short drive had restaurants, coffeeshops, breakfast, etc.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy, clean Airbnb that’s perfectly suited for two adults and a toddler. The space was just the right size for us, and the highlight was definitely the stunning views of the beach from the spacious balcony—such a special touch! The location is fantastic: just a short walk/drive to great restaurants, grocery stores, and with super easy beach access. The swimming pool was an added bonus, and the property even had beach essentials, which made our trips to the beaches even more convenient. Ida was truly exceptional—she genuinely wanted us to enjoy our vacation and went out of her way to make sure we had a great time. She even called to check in on us during our stay and provided helpful suggestions for local beaches and restaurants. We felt so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beach getaway!

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful vacation rental! The home was not only stunning and well-decorated but also thoughtfully planned out with everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was great right on the beach with gorgeous views and easy access to the water. It was also super convenient to get around, as I was able to quickly Uber to different spots with no problem. Highly recommend this place.

This is a very charming apartment decorated with very good taste. It has lots of extras so you do not have to go out and buy things you might have forgotten. The view is gorgeous. Elevator is new and very efficient. Guards are very friendly and always happy to help. Waves at the beach could sometimes be challenging but there is a public beach less than a mile away which is very calm and quite clear. Highly recommend this place.
