Beachfront holiday rentals in Esperanza

We had a great stay at this Airbnb tucked away on a private dirt road—it really gave us that authentic small-town Puerto Rico feel. Place looked exactly like the photos and had an incredible view. The house had everything you could need, and the owners were super quick to respond/helpful. The only thing to note is that there was quite a bit of seaweed on the beach during our visit, but that’s just nature doing its thing. There are many beautiful, swimmable beaches within a short drive. Overall, a lovely stay and we'd definitely come back!

We couldn't have been happier to find this place. If you walk out back and go about 100 yd to the right, there is a beautiful swimming/ snorkeling area. We went to two other beaches in the area, but none of them compared to the one outback. If you want horses, the horses are also outside the house and around the beach in the afternoons. I you also love the sound of waves, it is the perfect location. You can hear the waves from inside the bedroom when you're sleeping. Although it can be a little loud, it is peaceful.

This is a truly special place. From the sweeping views of the ocean to the rooftop veranda, well-stocked house with everything one might need for trips to the surrounding beaches, it was exactly what we were looking for. The beds were firm and comfy, the ceiling fans and open windows (with screens, we had very few mosquito bites) kept the house extremely cool so we didn't miss AC at all. Would be an excellent space for older kids, having a toddler did mean that we needed to keep an eye on him since the stairs up to the tower and down to the beach were in a condition best for bigger legs and more coordination. The property manager was extremely kind with excellent local recommendations and securing us a packnplay, and the host was quickly responsive and flexible with our needs for moving our checkout time. If you are looking for luxury accommodations this is not the place, but if you are looking for something truly special with real character, you will not be disappointed.

Peaceful neighborhood, 2m walk to an almost private beach. Cats, dogs, roosters, horses all around! Lots of mosquitoes at the time we visited - so the mosquito bat in the house came in really handy! Washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator in the house and a gas cooktop - very convenient. We enjoyed our stay!

This is a really romantic place where you will feel alone with the ocean!!! Maybe not the most comfortable, but the most atmospheric!!!

Loved our stay here! So peaceful sitting in the rocking chairs and enjoying the sunset and watching the stars at night. Perfect location too!

The pictures can't do justice to what the actual view is from the living room. Spectacular! Loved waking up every day to see the ocean. Maybe not the rooster so much(LOL), but with that view it didn’t matter. Also loved the visiting horses. The place was very accommodating and comfortable. Hanna, the property manager, was very helpful. Would highly recommend this place to another guest.

We loved this space! Janos was super welcoming and very accommodating. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and more. The beach in the backyard was very private (saw one other family just once- and that’s it) and had some really cool shells. Very close to town with plenty of great restaurants nearby. Within a short drive to everywhere on the island. We will return again. Thank you for hosting us!

Berto was very helpful and courteous, responds quickly to needs of the guests. Excellent place, very clean and with a great view.

The place was perfect. My kids were in heaven! The beach had no one else on it! We found sea glass each morning. The kids loved the pool and I sat on the deck every day. It was so perfect.

From the house to the host everything was 5 stars! Sean went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. We had plenty of space and the house had everything we needed including pool floats and extra coolers. We enjoyed our trip and our stay and hope to be able to come again!

Lovely place, great view, very comfortable. Dealing with our hostess Danielle and property manager Victor was always easy. They are very responsive, and for people like us, who'd never been to Vieques before, this was hugely helpful. When we were there (in August) PR was very hot & humid. The comfortable accommodations, the little pool & strong AC were very welcome! The view from the patio is gorgeous. We used the well stocked kitchen, cooked on the grill, and loved the view of the water. The beds are super comfortable. One thing I wish I'd understood before I booked is where Isabel II is in relation to most of the fun visitor activities on the Island. This house is on the north coast and most of the great beaches are on the south coast. We drove our golf cart across the island many times - it wasn't a huge issue, but I wish I'd understood the lay of island before booking this relatively expensive place. Also, the local roosters crow every morning very early and they are... loud.

Everything was as described. Beautiful sorroundings and premises. The hosts were great and attentive. We would stay there again. Very nice.

This is the destination for peace and relaxation. We spent so much time floating in the private pool. It was pleasant to eat on the covered porch. The breeze kept things cool. It was amazing to have the ocean view and hear the crash of the waves, and walk to the water just down a little path. This property made our trip to Vieques as relaxing and enjoyable as it was! We prepared many simple meals in the kitchen and it had what we needed. I was glad for other reviews who said that the property wasn't pristine - being right on the water rust is inevitable, and though there are screens on windows, some windows didn't open and lost wings of some type of bug were prevalent. Yes, water pooled around the table on the patio and there are small rips in cushions of the patio furniture. Duct tape holds bathroom screens in place. However, none of that took away from our enjoyment! AC in both bedrooms was divine. Beds and couches were comfy and linens were quality. We had a wonderful time!

We had a wonderful time at Jon’s place. The location exceeded our expectations. We ended up spending a lot of time swimming in the tide pools right there, looking for fish, etc. Note: bring water shoes as there is sadly a lot of broken glass on the beach. Otherwise, I think this is one of the best guest houses on the island and we would definitely return again.

Spectacular! Regina’s place was the best place to call home for a few days! Centrally located, peaceful, beautiful views. Interesting colorful place with great locals around right by a wonderful diving place. Did I mention the fully stocked fridge??? Or the many delightful and thoughtful details like mosquito spray, beach towels, great coffee, a six pack of Medalla and really decenr wine. Yoga mat? Check. Cooler.? Check. Snorkels?. Check. I want to come again soon! And I want to take over the entire property. Just amazing! What a treat to my partner and I. I have been many times in Culebra and its always been wonderful but this stay was more than wonderful, it was delightful. Thank you.

all the beaches on Vieques are public, and each is beautiful in its own way. we drove to a different beach every day and the last one, Sun Bay, was our favorite. Cielo Mar is on a small cliff overlooking rocky surf (which is amazingly beautiful) but the best beaches for swimming walking, or sitting under a palm tree, are a short walk or drive from here. The good news is, NO DEVELOPERS ALLOWED. we didnt see a single condo building or beach house from any of the public beaches. they are un-improved and unspoiled but easy to access and almost uninhabited. we'll be back soon to Vieques and we will stay at Cielo Mar!

We loved our stay at CasaLinda. It was peaceful and beautiful. We loved listening to the ocean. We were there during the full moon and it was amazing. The house had all the amenities we were looking for. Close to town and easy to get to all of the beautiful beaches in Vieques. Denise, Annette and Melyssa we’re fabulous hosts. Very easy to communicate with when needed. We’re looking forward to another visit.

Our host Amy could not have been more helpful. She was extremely responsive when we needed questions answered. And she took care of anything we needed. Cannot recommend the beauty and tranquility of Vieques more.
