Villa holiday rentals in Esperanza

The waves was close to ferry, car rental, town. Hosts were great really enjoyed the pool at night after a busy day of horseback riding and beaches. Really great beaches were less than 10 minutes away. Only down side for me was the property was right on the ocean but the ocean in front of the property was too rough to swim in so we had to travel a bit away for really nice beaches.

Great hosts, very responsive, friendly and accommodating. The location is central and close to great restaurants, food trucks, bars, and the beach. It’s tucked away and private so it’s very quiet and peaceful. At night you can see all of the stars. We enjoyed the amenities like the pool and the grill, they also had beach chairs we could use. Very nice stay especially for the price. Definitely recommend.

The location was in the mountains its a distance to get to esperanza shopping grocery and beaches The house was fabulous pool was fantastic we had a great evening at the house AC only in the bedrooms The surroundings full of vegetation mango trees quenepas and more the outdoors was surreal and the cat was a added perk Over all we felt at home kitchen was overwhelming had almost all you need Joey was available over the phone had COVID thats what he said Check out was sharp 11:00am rush time no extension We loved it thank you for sharing your house with my family

Being beachfront was amazing with a quick drive into town and everywhere else to explore the island. The pool and grill set up were fantastic! We squeezed every minute out of our stay!

My husband and I stayed here for our first trip to Vieques! Beautiful surrounding, the view from the pool is breathtaking! Joey was very responsive and so friendly and gave us many recommendations for things to do around the area which were pretty close by. They had everything you needed for a peaceful stay. Thank you for hosting us! We will be back!

We loved this Airbnb. Extremely convenient location, well decorated and stocked, comfortable beds, beach necessities, and great ac. Loved hanging out on the deck with the cat. The host's tone did come across a bit harsh, as if she really was fed up with guests. Which as a former host, I understand how ridiculous some guests can be and how frustrating things they do may be. However, most guests have good intentions and try to be good guests so giving the benefit of the doubt is kinda part of the gig. Be sure to read every instruction as you will pay 50 dollars extra if you come on the 8pm ferry. Otherwise, a lovely house with a great location for the price.

Do you want stunning views from two large decks, extremely comfortable bedrooms and living space, one’s own personal space, quietude, 5 minutes to groceries & restaurants, snorkeling & glorious beaches with soft sand and ocean water so comfortable in temperature. This is what Villa Melones offers to those who wish for such a paradise. Supporting all that is the kind helpful hosts Ben $ Michelle. Can’t go wrong with this Airbnb. I give a five star ++ review & rating.

Sunny and Jeff were amazing host. Their place is very conveniently located close to everything. The pool in the back of the place is great and all the necessities for the beach that have covered. Coolers, chairs, football, sunblock which was very clutch when traveling to some of these beaches. All and all it was an amazing experience and we would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks again!

Beautiful!!! We didn’t try the beach because high tides but it was not necessary. The pool was amazing and you could see the breach. We had a great time! Thank you Edwin!

This is our 5th or 6th stay here. As usual it was very beautiful, rustic and peaceful. Even though we had a power outage the host had candles and matches for us. Also we brought some of our own solar lanterns. Water was out too since we had no power but we brought in water since we know how to prepare to stay in Puerto Rico. Host was very quick in sending someone over to check on everything but the power was out of their hands. Absolutely a serene magical place to stay. Clean, lots of stuff to use in the kitchen. Lots of room.

We had an amazing stay. The photos were spot on and upon arriving, it was breathtaking. Everything about the property is incredible and it felt so peaceful and private. When we come back to Culebra, we would stay here every single time. WiFi worked great, sleeping was peaceful, and access to the beach was simple to get to.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was absolutely perfect for our group — spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The outdoor space was a huge bonus; we loved gathering there to relax, enjoy time together and take in the sounds of Puerto Rico, from the coquís at night to the gentle rustle of the palm trees during the day. It really added to the experience. The host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time on this trip! The property was even better IRL and Jack was super helpful and responsive to any & all of our inquiries. This was my 1st time staying in Luquillo and look forward to many more trips; we'll definitely be staying here again! Each room was beautifully appointed and there were special touches wherever you looked. It was a great birthday trip!

First, don't worry about the dogs - they are so cute and super friendly! The pictures make the house look a little newer than it really is but it is very well maintained. It is nice to have a private pool. The island lost power a couple of times while we were there but we still felt comfortable and safe up on the mountain with beautiful views. If you want to feel like your really staying in Puerto Rico and not a tourist, this is a perfect spot!

Amazing place! We came with a group of adults, and each room was very private and had individual lock codes on each door. Gaddiel was very responsive and helpful. The home is beautiful and would recommend to groups of all sizes!

We just got back from an amazing trip to Vieques where our group of ten stayed at El Cerro. We all had such a wonderful time and could not have asked for a nicer place to stay. Driving through Esperanza you can see the Rock House at the top of the hill overlooking the town, it literally looks like a castle rising above. As you are riding up the driveway, you truly feel like you have entered your own private tropical paradise, complete w starfruit and mango trees, and wild horses grazing just on the other side of the fence line. When we arrived, Kaitlyn met us w a basket of fruit and all sorts of helpful tips, restaurant recommendations, and interesting island facts and information. We rented the Rock House and the Pool House for 6 adults and 4 kids (aged 4-10) and it was the perfect amt of space. We would spend all day exploring the beaches and the island, and finish off every afternoon/evening at the pool. Both the houses had everything that we could have wanted cooking equipment wise and had a well working washer and dryer, which made things much easier. They were also well stocked w pool noodles, beach towels and beach chairs and even a beach cooler. Even though we were there in June and the Rock House has no a/c we did not find we needed it...it would get warm during the middle of the day, but at night w the windows and doors open there was a nice breeze and it was not bad at all. We found one of our favorite things to do was just to sit on the front porch upstairs w a cup of Puerto Rican coffee and watch the morning light and the town wake up. It was such a relaxing way to start the day! We also had the fortune of meeting Christian several times during our week long stay, when he would stop by to clean the pool or drop something off and he was so friendly and helpful...full of recommendations and information and even loaned my husband a pair of sunglasses to borrow when my husband temporarily lost his and we were supposed to go sailing for the day! All in all one of the nicest Airbnb's we have ever had the fortune of finding and hope to get the chance to visit again. If you are considering staying here, just do it, you will not be disappointed!
