Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Esparron-de-Verdon

This was one of the best Airbnb stays we have ever had. The home and private grounds are wonderful reflections of the spirit and beauty of Provence. Where do we start? The beautiful decorations in the home, the well appointed bedrooms, kitchen, dining, and living room, and the large landscaped gardens with a well maintained pool, and the surrounding spaces with panoramic views of the valley. Stores and restaurants are a short walk away and Lacoste is a central location to explore nearby towns. Michel and Christine were gracious hosts who met us when we began and ended our stay and made us feel welcome to stay in their wonderful property. Thanks again for making our trip to Provence such a great experience.

We had such an amazing time at Benita’s secret house! It was absolutely full of charm and character and exceeded our expectations on every level. It is rare you find a place that is better than the pictures and that is true of this private sanctuary. Benita was delightful to meet, responsive to every inquiry, and provided amazing suggestions on activities and places to visit that made it an outstanding experience. Au revoir Secret House. You introduced us to the French countryside in the best way possible.

What a gem of a place and hosts! We traveled to quite a few places during our 2.5 week trip through Europe, and this was by far our favorite stay. Located in the Luberon Valley in the medieval town of Ménerbes, Provence, you only had to look outside of your window to see the vibrant purple shades of the blooming summer lavenders and lavandines. The stay was well appointed with everything you’d need, and the private courtyard provided breathtaking views of the valleys and nearby mountains. The town and stay are rich in history - you’ll enjoy learning about it from hosts Maria and Francois, who are absolutely delightful. A beautiful breakfast of local fresh fruits, pastries, eggs and yogurt was provided, which gave us enough fuel for a long day of walking and sightseeing. My favorite part of it all were the conversations we had with Maria and Francois over breakfast - they’re quite charming and funny; we exchanged stories of our lives and travels. Highly recommend this stay!

The gîte is beautifully located and offers fantastic views. For us, the location was perfect, with a private room for everyone. What was nice so that some could prepare for a next gliding day or could do some work. Anything you need is available with a fully furnished kitchen. The garden with the many seats is lovely, you feel "on the top of the world". The welcome was warm and the roaming cat was very cozy. Unfortunately, the weather was too cold to use the pool, very unfortunate. We had a great week, and it is subject to repetition.

A fantastic property in a beautiful, private location with lots of amenities. A short drive to the beach, supermarket and town as well as a small walk to the local restaurants and bars. Brilliant hosts who are very responsive and flexible. Would happily return in the future and couldn’t recommend it enough!

Hi Olga, We would like to thank you warmly for our stay in your beautiful house. As a family, we had an exceptional time celebrating our children's birthdays. The house, with its traditional charm, is spacious and perfectly equipped, which made our stay very comfortable. The exteriors are really superb, with many small terraces where we could enjoy the sun and tranquility. The petanque court was a favorite for everyone, a perfect place to share friendly moments. We had an incredible stay at Christelle’s beautiful home. Check in was smooth, the villa is immaculate and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is idyllic, we fell in love with Lacoste. Such a picturesque and peaceful town. We cannot wait to return! Thank you for having us.

Great place in a great location

A beautiful apartment in the historic center of Aix. Super central location - close to shops and market squares. The apartment itself is a work of art. I’ve enjoyed it so much.

We were so happy to have 3 days at Guys place ....it is perfectly positioned just a few steps from the harbour and fantastic bars and restaurants an easy walk away...I loved sitting in the window with coffee every.morning watching the port come to life and the birds swooping backwards and forwards.Highly reccomend- a special place.

We had a delicious weekend at Annie & Jean-Louis! The setting is calm, bucolic, full of charm for those who appreciate an authentic and friendly place. We really appreciated the kindness and good advice of our hosts who know the area perfectly. The amenities of the place are perfect. I highly recommend this accommodation, ideally located in the heart of the Luberon.

We have perhaps 15 years of experience staying in Air BnB apartments and we can say without question that Salama is the very best host we've encountered. She took great care in designing and furnishing the apartment. It is lovely and comfortable , new and sparkling. The apartment was stocked with literally everthing we needed. Salama anticipated anything a guest might wish for and made sure to have it there. She met us when we arrived and took a good amount of time to orient us not only to the ins and outs of the apartment, but also to Aix and the surrounding area. She stocked the apartment with many helpful books and materials about the area, and made sure to mention a number of excellent restaurants in town. The apartment is in an excellent location in the center city, on a quiet street, an easy walk to everthing. It's a block and half from an inexpensive city parking garage which makes retaining a rental car trouble free. We could not have been happier with our stay.

What a charming and authentic Provençal stay! Gerard was very welcoming and even provided us with farm fresh eggs, oranges to make fresh pressed juice in the mornings. The vineyards and olive trees were a beautiful site to wake up to each morning. We enjoyed walking into the village for dinner. We strongly recommend this amazing place.

An absolute oasis in Gordes! We loved having al fresco dinners and morning cappuccinos throughout the property. The pool was divine!

Gorgeous Airbnb in Gordes! Stayed last week of May. Walkable to town with cute restaurants and shops. Short driving distance to quaint towns throughout Provence. Pool was nice but it wasn’t hot enough out to use it - not heated the way we’re used to it in the US! 10/10 stay would come back!

It's impossible to appreciate what a special house this is until you walk through the door. Every aspect of it is fascinating, beautiful and well conceived. Each of the five bedrooms have their own character and decoration and the design is beautiful. The kitchen is large and well stocked with equipment that made it easy to cook large meals. The garden is lovely and the pool has a clever cleaning system which we appreciated as we all had a swim. Lastly, the location is ideal being a short walk into town in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. Caroline’s villa was perfect for our stay. It felt very rural, peaceful and private, yet situated in walking distance to the small town of Cadenet and centrally based to visit all the villages and towns in the Luberon. It was very hot for our stay in June, so we spent a lot of time in the lovely pool. Caroline was a perfect host, and wanted to make sure our stay went well, and was very quick to respond if we had a question or issue. We would have liked to stay longer!
