Jose’s place was exactly as described, the location was great, the balcony was fantastic and the apartment was clean and comfortable with all the amenities you could need. Sesimbra is a beautiful spot and Jose’s place was a great home base.

The host was extremely helpful and kind throughout the stay. They always respond very quickly to messages, ready to help with any request. At check-out, they also allowed us to leave our luggage, which was really convenient. The apartment was very clean, with attention to detail and well equipped, especially in the kitchen, with everything you need to feel at home. An excellent experience, I highly recommend it!

Great stay at Luis's! The location of the apartment is perfect, allowing us to quickly go to the different neighborhoods. Trains to get out of the city are also nearby. As a bonus, we had a beautiful view of the Château St-Georges. The apartment was very clean, bright and spacious. There was nothing missing for a long stay. Luis was very kind and allowed us to arrive early. I highly recommend this host. Thank you Luis!!

Very well prepared, clean and comfortable, we all felt very safe in this location. 25 minute walk from downtown! Included all essentials for bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. We loved our stay!

This apartment was centrally located and close to good restaurants and shopping. Our favorite breakfast spot was just up the steps behind our place. It was located on a busy street but it quieted down at night and we had no trouble sleeping. They had black out shades on the bedroom windows which was an unexpected pleasant surprise. Our host Vitor was so friendly and kind. He was responsive and helpful when I realized I had left my watch in the Airbnb after we checked out. He had it mailed out to me that day. I would definitely stay there again.

Wow - I must say this was the best hospitality I have probably experienced in an Airbnb, ever! The hosts are super great, kind, very responsive, and so willing to help. Whether you have limited time in Lisbon or an extended trip, what a great place to stay! The patio/terrace is an added plus for a hot day to enjoy the weather but in the comfort of the shade. Couldn’t have asked for anything better - truly appreciate this stay and the kind hosts!

The place is perfect for a large family. It has gardens, lots of space, it's great. The place is quiet. It's just under an hour from Lisbon and 40 minutes from Sintra. We loved it and would recommend it.

I live in the area and were looking for an Airbnb while we waiting for the final touches on our home. Felipe's house stood out. Felipe was super helpful with flexible check in and check out which was essential. The house was very comfortable and perfect for what we were looking for. If you are looking for a woodsy relaxed Colares stay, I high recommend Felipe's house.

I'm very pleased. The owners are very attentive and made a great effort to communicate in my language. They were always attentive and I didn't need anything. The house is super clean and cozy. I loved the welcome gift. We will definitely repeat soon

Paula was amazing, so helpful, went over and beyond to help us and provide us with lots of info. So friendly, offered to book restaurants for us etc The house is fabulous better than the pictures for location and peacefulness . Swimming pool was lovely all the outside sofas. The view of the mountains was just wonderful. You need a car to drive to village, best village is azetitio, lovely restaurants and shops. Great local cafe and very reasonable compared to london prices. We drove to different places and different beaches. Loved Lisbon 44 mins away. Cascais was a pretty town but too touristy. Comporta was amazing, super special, wonderful place to eat and unusual shops. We drove to it 1hour but you. A get a ferry from Setabul €35 for three people. Thank you Paula for a great stay.

Maria's house is very nicely furnished and very clean. We felt very comfortable. We had everything we needed on site. Maria welcomed us personally and gave us great recommendations for the surrounding area. She ist very friendly! The house is in a quiet location and in just a few minutes by car you can be on the picturesque coast with breathtaking views of the sea. A visit is highly recommended!

Everything about our stay was great. We had a friendly welcome with great recommendations. We even loved enough to stay again. The location, host, atmosphere were amazing. I can’t say enough about our host. He went above and beyond for us. It was a home away from home. Our experience was such that we even asked for info on relocation. We will definitely be back. Her response is very quick when we couldn’t find sheets for extra bed in the second bedroom. The accommodation is good and especially the ground floor is very spacious. We enjoyed cooking local ingredients from Cascais market in the kitchen. All necessaries are equipped in the kitchen and dining space on the ground floor is perfect Thank you very much

The location is perfect – peaceful and quiet. It’s an ideal place for a couple looking for a cozy and calm retreat in the city. Paolo made our stay very enjoyable. He is the best host. Super responsive and went above and beyond to get us into the apt early. Great location-extremely close to everything. Very walkable and convenient. Great space for a larger group with 4 bedrooms. 2 bathrooms and a very large comfortable living room. And if you are a tv person-biggest tv I’ve ever seen. Thank you Paolo for your graciousness, friendliness and all your recommendations. Also extra shoutout to Luan who checked us in at the property-super nice person and graciously came extremely early well ahead of check in time to accommodate our group. I can’t wait to come back.

Maria was the best host and offered exceptional hospitality during check-in with an infant. The place was walking distance to a nearby center with food and 20 minutes from the main center that home was clean and beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time. From the apartment, we could visit many beautiful places and it is still very quiet and private. The village is only 4 minutes away by car and it is also very nice to eat something there and spend time on the beach. The hostess provided us with everything necessary and was not intrusive. We will be happy to come back!

Great location and apartment just as described. We parked about 3 blocks from the apartment in a garage that had 24 hour on site office. Little confusion when we checked out because it was cash only, but we could have asked! Ling was great. Very responsive and allowed us to check in early to leave our bags and get on with sight seeing. Great experience!

We spent 2 weeks in Jose’s apartment with our 10-month baby. Everything went well, the place was cozy, clean and safe. The real highlight was the marvelous ocean view from the spacious balcony. Jose was very helpful and gave good recommendations via messages. There was a calm and relaxing atmosphere in the apartment, with just the equipment needed for a little family. The apartment and the view are even better than they look in the photos. Overall Jose’s place and Sesimbra gave us an unforgettable holiday, and we miss it already.

Absolutely beautiful, newly renovated, spacious and bright apartment right on the beach of Praia da California. The apartment was immaculately clean and the kitchen is still brand new. The highlight of course is being right on the beach and waking up and falling asleep every day to the sound of the waves crashing on to the shore. The ocean views are impeccable! It also only takes about a 2minute walk down the stairs to get to the beach. I went there in October and the beach was pretty much empty, weather still pretty warm & even the ocean was warm enough to swim in every day. You can tell the apartment is looked after very well by its owner, David and is also great for a longer stay. You have all cooking utensils and a washing machine to really make your stay comfortable. Overall, an amazing place to stay and David is an absolute please to communicate with and you can tell he really cares for his guests and the apartment. I hope to be back soon! Highly recommended!
