House holiday rentals in Ericeira

Great house, great views. Well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. We would come back. (For small children of walking age, you have to consider that there are many stairs). We would come back.

Lovely holiday house. Didi was our point of contact and she was very friendly and helpful. There were 7 of us, all adults and the house was ideal for us.

Such a beautiful place near to the beach, local restaurants and scenic spots. Sabine and Ana are very responsive and provided us with local recommendations which helped us a lot to see Sintra when we are in town. It may be tricky if you are driving due to the tight parking space, but other than that everything else is amazing.

This location was a hidden gem. The view is unmatched and the infinity pool was a bonus. It felt like a dream. Annemie was very welcoming and we loved the friendly cat! It definitely felt like our second home and I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for their perfect getaway under the sun.

A real getaway in the middle of nature! Encosta do Almargem is the ideal place to relax, recharge, and let the children explore freely. The space is cozy, clean and very well taken care — all thought to detail. The outdoor area is wonderful for family barbecues, and the silence of the area invites you to rest. Lorenzo, aged 2 and a half, loved every moment! Thanks for the hospitality — we'll definitely be back!

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

François’ place was super relaxing and very comfortable. It was well situated for exploring Lisbon and surrounding area by car and only 20 minutes from the beach. It’s just like the pictures and he is a very responsive and helpful host. I strongly recommend as one of the best places I’ve stayed.

We were all very big fans of the accommodation, well located to go surfing in Ribeira and ideal for larger groups!

Elio was very helpful at every step, answering every query within minutes. The place was as described and had everything we needed for a family holiday especially as Elio managed to get two cots and two high chairs for us. The location was good and we could walk down to the beach when feeling energetic! It's not a short walk but doable and the alternative cliff top path was very beautiful. Having a car meant we could also explore some of the other lovely beaches and Ericeira itself. We made good use of the covered outdoor barbeque area but the weather wasn't quite good enough for the pool. Altogether a very enjoyable holiday - thank you.

Rita and her husband are some of the nicest humans you will meet. We truly felt welcome and the hospitality overall was outstanding. The location has something special and almost spiritual feeling. The cleanliness was impeccable and they thought of everything you could need or want for a stay. The pool was awesome and felt great after a long day(s) of travel. Thus far this place is by far are favorite stay in Portugal. We wish we would have booked more nights and used this location as a base. We will surely request to stay here on a return trip.

Spacious house, very well equipped (barbecue, airfryer, many kitchen utensils,…)and located in an excellent neighborhood. Telmo is very friendly. Ideal for surfing, going out at night, stroll through alleyways, …a 10!

Joana's place was clean, quiet, and had a beautiful view of the ocean. The sunsets were amazing! It was easy to get to the center of Ericiera, as well as other parts of the area. The drive to Lisbon was reasonable, but you have to deal with the traffic. The house is spacious, and has a very well equipped kitchen. The only thing that bothered us is that the neighbors in the house just next door had a little dog that barked on and off. It was not a problem during the day, since we were rarely home. But occasionally, it would bark at night for several minutes at a time, and that was annoying. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay here.

Great little studio, convenient for Sao lourenco beach. Really quiet and pretty surroundings and nice neighbours. Shops etc are not walkable so best with a car

Highly recommend this one of a kind place to stay! It’s such a great weekend escape if you live in Lisbon or are just visiting Portugal!

Lia's place is a tiny apartment with a separate entrance. The apartment is part of her house. There are a lot of common areas available for guests to use. I really liked sitting on veranda. The apartment is decorated with great taste. All appliances worked for me. I cooked there about 1 meal every second day. Lia was kind to provide me with a large sauce pan so that I can make my favorite soup.

We had a super nice time. The apartment is large and has a great bathroom. We had an ant-ceiling problem, but this was fixed as soon as possible. We highly recommend this place

Our host was super responsive and helpful! One of the best hosts I’ve encountered. Location can’t be beat, it’s close to everything (restaurants cafes etc). We were two people, It’s a small but cozy apartment but packed with everything you’ll need. Highly recommend, and would stay again.

We were greeted by a smiling human person. You have not missed your calling, Ricardo 👍🏻 An atypical but perfectly clean house, a garden, simply incredible or change of scenery and well-being are the key. We'll be back, you've been warned 😁 The village is small, but offers a cafe, restaurant, laundry, convenience store... We almost hesitated to move in. A small hammock between the two wooden posts, and you won't leave the garden for several days. Impossible, because the environmental spots are all sublime! We loved this region and the visit to the Monserrate Palace, Linda!! boa descoberta 🤩

Robin, Laura and their daughter are incredibly nice people. We and our daughter felt very comfortable. They were always available and gave us great tips for restaurants, beaches. The surrounding area is very nice and quiet. Perfect for us as a family. Ericeira can be reached by car within 5 minutes. We highly recommend the place and would definitely come back,

Maria was an excellent host. Gave us clear instructions. Kind enough to bring us a loaf of bread upon arrival. Apartment was located in the countryside, beautiful and very quiet and peaceful. Very clean and decorated tastefully .

Fantastic place to stay, especially if you're a beach lover or surfer. The house is in a quiet location with panoramic views. Beautiful. The house is close to the gorgeous Calada beach which has a lovely cafe on the beach for coffee, snacks, light bites and drinks. The house is close to Ericeira, Ribamar and Barril...all with lovely restaurants and all on the coast. The house itself is super. Its very modern with all amenities you would ever need for your stay. It even comes with board games. The house is super clean. It was lovely to have a bathroom for each of us during our stay. Maria is a super host. She has been so responsive and helpful with recommendations for everything you ask for. She is very friendly. I would recommend this place to family and friends and hopefully we will get to come back some day. Thanks Maria

We had an amazing, magical stay at Casa Das Rosas. Hugo and Laura are really wonderful hosts. Please follow all their recommendations for things to do in Sintra and beyond. They really made our stay so special. The house is so nicely designed and really comfortable. The small outside sitting area on the cobblestone walkway is perfect for morning coffee. The location is great for walking. The walk to the old part of Sintra takes about 10 minutes. Take the path through the Parque Liberdade to old Sintra. You won’t be sorry . We hope to be able return to Casa Das Rosas. Thank you Hugo & Laura!

No detail was overlooked at Xana & David’s home. Everything was PERFECT. I truly cannot put into words how amazing our time was. From the beautiful home to the perfect location (close to restaurants, super markets, beaches and the city), our stay was incredible. I wish I could give more than 5 stars- the best home with the most incredible hosts!!!
