Cottage holiday rentals in Emerald Isle

Staying at this Airbnb felt like a true escape. The location couldn't have been better – being mere steps from the beach was such a treat, allowing for spontaneous walks and the calming sound of the waves. It was wonderful to find such a genuinely dog-friendly place; my pups absolutely loved it, which made the stay even more enjoyable for me. The entire atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and I found the off-season to be a particularly lovely time to visit, with beautiful weather and a sense of peacefulness. The property itself had everything I could possibly need, making it easy to settle in and feel comfortable. Amy was fantastic – always communicative and helpful, ensuring a smooth and easy stay. While there were plenty of options for things to do in the area, I also appreciated the opportunity to simply unwind and work remotely in such a serene setting. The upper deck was my favorite spot for getting sun many hours of the day. I’ve stayed in many airbnbs and this is a favorite!

Beautiful house and very peaceful! First house that i’ve been in with a stock of paper towels and toilet paper. The house was very clean and I loved all the tv channels you could use such as Netflix, Hulu and Espn

Marla’s place was home away from home for us. The cottage was exactly as described, peaceful, private, cute and enjoyable. The 1st best part was that it was a fenced in yard for our two large puppies. The 2nd best part was Marla acted as family being our host, making sure we got in on time extending our checkout time due to us arriving in at 4am, I mean she even left lights on for us so we didn’t walk into a dark unknown house. It was amazing and we will definitely book again.

This was an absolutely perfect Topsail vacation home! We loved every minute of our stay. The location is absolutely fantastic. So close to the little local shops and restaurants as well as super close to the bridge going over to the mainland.. The house itself was spotless and quite comfortable. Had everything we needed to cook full meals. Plenty of kitchenware for our group of seven. Proximity to the beach is by far the most fantastic detail of this house! The little private sandy beach *yard* attached to the deck is awesome for kids and the beach itself just down a few steps is so amazing. We could even sit in bed and see the ocean waves! This is the best house with beach access and views we've stayed at in Topsail. Also positive to note, the entire property being fenced in felt incredibly safe for kids and was fantastic for our dog. We realized the apartment was a part of the rental unit and we were so pleasantly surprised! It was a great separate space! Overall highly recommend!

It was asolutely beautiful here! after booking, we were so excited to hear they installed extras on the property and we got to enjoy a fire pit as well as the jacuzzi. easy drive to the beach and local stores and shops to entertain everyone. I would definitely come back with my littles next time, there was a lot to accommodate children! the only issue I had was unlocking the door and even though it was 1am, I was able to get someone on the phone to let me inside. wonderful stay!! 10/10

This was a very clean, comfortable and attractive place to stay. The location was very convenient to all the wonderful things Wilmington has to offer. The owners were very helpful with check in and provided a lovely place.

I absolutely adore this cute little beach house. It was a perfect best friend get away. I felt like I was staging in a beach cottage straight off hgtv. My only suggestion is a full length mirror for the females! Definitely would stay here again.

Incredibly friendly and courteous host, who included not only the basic amenities, but coffee/tea, body wash/shampoo, water filtration pitcher, and herbs/spices. Our host kept in contact throughout the stay with helpful info about the location. Great location, within walking distance of historic houses, museums, shops, and the river, but in an easily accessible area with very light vehicle traffic. A short drive from Wal-Mart, the ocean, the boardwalk, as well as just about any kind of restaurant you could think of.

We love the location of the house close to restaurants and the beach access. The home is adorable there are a lot of beautiful paintings. we really like the screened-in back porch.

This is my family and I favorite place to stay! We fish off the dock, go kayaking, swim and play in the sand. It’s an easy walk to the ocean side if you want to go there. We spend most of time at the at the beach area there at the house.

Tim's place was cute and a great place for me to stay while visiting friends in Supply. I was mostly there to sleep and unwind and this place was awesome for that. Quiet and peaceful. Rockers in the back yard, they where a nice place to hang out why my feet dried from using the outside shower to rinse off my feet after returning from the beach. This was the perfect location for me and was in a nice neighborhood. The firepit was so nice even though I didn't use it if you are someone that likes that this is the place for you. Thanks Tim for providing me a peaceful place to wind down. Sharon

Great location - near UNCW, Wrightsville Beach and downtown Wilmington. Very clean, great fully fenced yard, flexible with check in, and all beds are very comfortable! Definitely recommend!

My husband and I just returned from our second stay at One Beachin' Cottage for a long Memorial Day weekend. The cottage is comfy & we appreciate that it's pet friendly. Although the street where the Cottage is quiet and fairly traffic-free, it's walkable to the beach, restaurants, and the boardwalk. We appreciated how close it is to the Tiki Bar, The Spot, and the Veggie Wagon. We will definitely be back!

This is cute cottage only a 3 min walk to the ocean. There was also restaurants and a store you could walk to. Also a very nice fishing pier. We drove to fort fisher which was really neat. Rode the fairy to Southport. Drove to Carolina beach for the day. There was lots to do.

My wife and I as well as our 2 kids and our pittie Mama loved our stay. it's the perfect spot for those with a furry family member. Right at the lake and the beach. We plan to save Lisa's place for possible future trips. Be sure to check out the dog photo book of all of the four legged guests when you stay. ❤️

Bill’s place was so much better than we could have hoped for. He has thought of all the small details and included things you wouldn’t think of but know you need. A beautiful place in a relaxing and peaceful environment with a very comfy bed. Bill was very responsive through the whole process and gave great restaurant recommendations. We will be back!

Cathryn was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Place looked just as shown in the pictures and was very clean. Would definitely recommend to any family or group of friends who want a fun trip to the beach!

This was an excellent stay for the price, clean and steps from the beach with a great view from the back porch. One thing worth mentioning is the driveway is particularly steep, we were unable to get our boat into the driveway without scraping the hitch. Should not be an issue for others besides those with very little ground clearance. Quiet and very friendly neighbors. Would definitely recommend

What a wonderful home, location and host! Everything was absolutely top quality, and so many extra touches! We used the kayaks, fire pit (firewood provided!), ping pong table… easy walk to the beach too! Hope to stay again.

At the end of a mile dirt road was a beautiful & welcoming home with a great view. The host are right beside you if you should need anything. Clean & beautiful home with ‘soft big beds’ (as my daughter would say) 😉 Emerald Isle is close by to visit during the day. We enjoyed the park, aquarium, shopping, & dining. Kitchen was also nicely stocked for some nice cooked meals there! Hope we can come back again!

Bryan’s place was amazing for Memorial Day weekend for me and my friends to stay at. Right across from the beach, very clean, and the entire place was newly renovated. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a spot to stay in Kure/Carolina Beach!
