The property was very nice and the deck enjoyable. The house was not only comfortable but well furnished with everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the comfortable deck as well as skipping rocks on the creek at the back of the property. We look forward to a return visit in the future.

I had such a wonderful stay at Ron and Laurie’s place! From the moment I arrived, they made me feel so welcome and at home. The space itself is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of charm with stunning Moroccan inspired decor that adds such a unique and relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect peaceful getaway! Their warmth and hospitality truly made the experience even more special. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for comfort, beauty, and genuinely kind hosts! I’ll be back again when I need to recharge. Thank you so very much Ron and Laurie, for everything!

I had a fantastic stay at the Place of Peace hosted by Carrie over memorial weekend. I did not spend much time at the house as I was with family but I was very happy to have a spotlessly clean and beautiful place to stay over the nights and early mornings. Carrie was also a excellent host being able to quickly help with any issue I had and made sure I felt at home. I was very kindly offered lunch on the Sunday, unfortunately I already had plans but it was an absolutely lovely gesture. There was also an extremely friendly small cat I got to spend some time with.

The house was cozy and nice. Google maps sent me to the cemetery behind the post office but I was able to find it. The general store across the street has a great breakfast and all the towns people were nice and polite. If I'm ever in the New Albany/Louisville area I would not hesitate to rebook Jane's cottage.
