Holiday rentals with beach access in Edgewater, Chicago

Amy is an excellent host! She was so proactive about reaching out ahead of time and checking in on us. The unit was extremely clean! Easiest check in I have had with Airbnb—clear/specific directions. Amy was also super accommodating with our checkout time—we had a late flight (7:45pm) and we were able to check out at 5pm instead of noon which allowed us to maximize the last day of our trip! SO close to Loyola beach and has easy access to public transit. There are just a few improvements that would make this a perfect Airbnb: 1) the mattress is uncomfortable (extremely firm), 2) there is a beautiful kitchen but it is not well stocked with the basics (strainer, cooking utensils, pots, etc)—we made do by getting a little creative! Not a problem if you plan on eating out the whole time. 3) A few end tables would be nice for setting a glass of water/coffee etc, 4) needs a few more towels for being so close to the beach! Nonetheless, I would love to stay again and highly recommend!!

We stayed at Ariel and Gabby's place several times and we always had a great experience! Their place is very welcoming and comfortable. The neighborhood is beautiful and peaceful, and the hosts are very nice and helpful. We hope to be back soon.

We felt very comfortable at Daniela’s place. The flat is spacious and clean. We had no trouble walking to the train and parking in the dedicated spot. The decor is appealing & stylish. I recommend if in town visiting plus Evanston is the best!

Apartment was very nice and well-appointed! Beds were comfy and furnishings were great. Kitchen was beautiful as well. Anything we needed was provided, so we had no need to make any additional requests. We were visiting family nearby and able to walk anywhere we needed to. Bus stop (we went to Wrigley Field) was also close and very handy. We love the Andersonville neighborhood! Would definitely come back to this beautiful apartment. Thank you, Daniel!

The Walton Residence is a true gem! From the smooth pre-trip communication to the warm welcome and helpful tour at check-in, everything was top-notch. The apartment is beautifully decorated and filled with everything one could want (coffeemaker and coffee, dishes and cookware, bathrobes, etc), and had everything I needed—including a full kitchen and dining area that made it easy to host visiting family. The location is fantastic—an easy walk to the river, amazing architecture, great restaurants, local markets, and shopping. Plus, the bed was incredibly comfortable (seriously, one of the best I’ve slept in!). I’d stay here again in a heartbeat—already looking forward to my next visit!

Loved this place! It’s in a vibrant community with lots of businesses and places to eat within walking distance. The apartment was very nice, clean, and looked just like the pictures. Check in was easy. Had a great time in Chicago!

Tracy's home is clean, comfortable, and feels like a great home to return to when you are visiting Evanston. we didn't get a chance to cook in their fabulous kitchen, but I plan to next time!!

Great home and location. Safe neighborhood, walkable to restaurants, shopping, beach. Home was clutter free, clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of supplies for duration of stay (fresh towels, blankets, paper products, soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc.) Rooftop deck with nice view. Host was very responsive with any questions and communicated well. House was perfect size for our group of 6. We appreciate Rasheed making our stay perfect! Will stay here again in the future.

We had a great stay at Tsegie’s beautiful home. The house was not only very clean and well-maintained, but also tastefully decorated and comfortable. It’s located in a quiet, safe residential neighborhood with friendly neighbors — perfect for those who have a car, as there’s plenty of free street parking available. Tsegie is a professional and responsive host — very kind and easy to communicate with. We especially appreciated the spacious basement, which was great for indoor activities without disturbing anyone. Our toddler loved the front lawn — it became his favorite play area during the stay. If you're visiting Chicago with a car and prefer a peaceful, suburban atmosphere, this is a wonderful option. I was traveling with a young child and felt very safe and comfortable here. We’d love to stay in this area again on our next trip.

This is great, quiet little neighborhood; it doesn’t feel like you’re in a big city. It was nice to go to a couple Cubs games, hang out in the city, enjoy the amazing food, and then head back to a quiet space. Specifically, Junni was very responsive and friendly. We had a couple little snafus that were all me but Junni was there to help and that’s unusual in my experience. I highly recommend and will do it again!

We had the best stay in Old Town! The Airbnb was wonderful and spacious for our family.

Words can’t describe how beautiful and clean the property and neighborhood is! The house is very spacious and modern. The basement is new, has a big room and bathroom with shower. The masters bedroom has a living room and GORGEOUS bathroom! The host provided cleaning supplies and even personal bathroom supplies for men and woman. The host was very nice and friendly 🥰 We had an incident with our previous AIRBNB and we had to rent this one last minute- The host responded at 1am letting us checked in at 1am. If you plan on staying here, please take care of it lol It’s such a lovely house! 100% Recommend!

This was a fantastic find! My whole party loved the place. It was clean and wonderfully located in a peaceful neighborhood close enough to transport to walk but far enough from the noise and bustle of downtown. Shawn was very responsive to any questions I had and was super kind and friendly! I absolutely would stay here again!!

We loved our stay at Efren’s place. We are a couple traveling with our 17-year-old son and 90-year-old Grandma, and everyone was happy with our rental. It was clean and well-equipped. Our son was happy to have his own room with a futon (better than sleeping in the living room). The garage parking was a nice touch.

Nicole and Ryan's place was amazing to host a large amount of people. It had plenty of space for everyone to hang out. The outside spaces were also a huge plus to the home. We thought all the bedrooms were great and super comfy. Would recommend anyone to stay here!

Our stay in Chicago wouldn’t have been what it was without this Airbnb. The at home feel and energy made the stay more than comfortable. We absolutely loved the neighborhood it was safe and quiet. The apartment was beautiful and tidy. The experience felt very personal with fresh baked cookies upon arrival, and a well equipped kitchen with things like eggs and butter being provided along with non alcoholic beverages. If I had to recommend an Airbnb in Chicago it would 100% be this one every time!

Everything was great! The location was perfect—close to most of the attractions we visited during our stay. We really appreciated how well everything was set up. I can't recommend this Airbnb enough! From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. The place was not only extremely clean, but also beautifully decorated with a very welcoming atmosphere. Kyriako is a great host, and responded quickly to my messages. She gave very detailed instructions via video about how to check in and find the parking spot. This is a very nice rental in a lovely neighborhood only a few blocks from the beach! The building is quiet and secure. There are delicious restaurants within walking distance and the free parking spot in back was a real plus! I would definitely use this rental again in the future 😊

Planned a weekend trip with our daughters and their partners to Chicago. Loved this location being outside of the city but very conveniently located to public transit. The house itself was beautiful and comfortable, with plenty of room for 6 adults. A perk was the driveway parking space for our car. Would definitely recommend to others and stay again when visiting Chicago!

WWWWOOOWWW!! This host team was EXCEPTIONAL! I’ve stayed in plenty of AirBnBs, and I’ve NEVER encountered a host that was so EXTREMELY accommodating, responsive, and kind! Other hosts should take a page out of their book! The only thing I would change, and it’s not a bad thing (just a matter of preference); I would have some type of blinds or drapes over the living room windows. This will allow for privacy when you’re sitting in the living/dining room areas at night with the lights on inside. Hands down, we would without a doubt book with this team again! We were absolutely blown away by how nice Danny’s place in Lincoln Park was. It was perfect for our first family trip to Chicago. The house was big, well decorated, comfy and private. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet and just a quick ride into the city. We used all transportation to and from with ease. Because we spent most our time walking the city, coming home to this Airbnb was so nice! I’d definitely stay again. Thanks for your hospitality Danny!

Pablo was an incredibly responsive and helpful host, even volunteering to have us check in early. His place was spacious (can accommodate 4-5 people) and comfortable. . . really a home away from home. Had everything we needed for a 5-day stay . . washer/dryer a plus! Parking can be a challenge, but using SPOT Hero helped us identify available spots. While next to the train, the train noise was more like white noise and did not disturb us. Would definitely stay again!
