Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Eastern Shore of Virginia

We loved our stay at Kevin and Joans place! It was very well stocked with everything our family needed for the beach trip, from a great golf cart, beach toys, chairs, toys/games for the house and all the kitchen supplies you need. the place itself was clean, thoughtfully decorated and had an amazing private backyard with a hot tub that we used every night. Would highly recommend and will be back!

Had a nice mini stay over Easter weekend. Lovely home, so cute and comfortable. Loved the main bedroom with the covered porch. The house was so clean and everything worked really well, no issues at all during our stay.

Less than .5 miles from sand . The kids loved staying at the house versus a hotel ! Was the perfect spot to relax and go on the deck to hear the water . Would definitely go back for another vacation.

We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Octopus! It was a very nice layout with a family. Loved the connecting bedrooms upstairs, and even a baby gate for the stairs and top locks on the doors to the outside. We loved how easy it was to swim and go to the beach here! We went to Mudita for coffee in the morning which was wonderful. Would love to come back for a longer stay! Willoughby beach was quiet and away from crowds.

Nate was very responsive from booking , all the way through our stay. He was very flexible due to our circumstances and juggling vacation with 2 young children and 2 labradors. I would recommend this home to anyone with a family or pets as it offers the interior space that cape Charles historic homes lack while maintaining the same proximity to the town’s attractions.

Perfect get away for relaxing and unplugging. We look forward to coming back in the future.

This was our second trip to Bob’s and we plan to return! The crabbing was great! Beautiful views and loved the lighting at night. Great hot tub! We loved having enough space for all of us to hang out in multiple areas. Nice upstairs balcony. Loved the kitchen! The kids loved splashing and playing at the private sand beach. Screened in porch was a very comfortable place to hang out! Can’t say enough good about this place!

This beautiful house is so eccentric and cool, we absolutely loved it. The outside patio and yard was gorgeously lit at night. The house was very clean and well stocked. We cooked family meals in the big kitchen and had all needed utensils, cookware & dishes. We really enjoyed playing pool and shuffleboard and soaking in the hot tub every night. We went out on the water with the paddle boards and also enjoyed fishing off the dock. The beach area is super cute!! This property is very private, peaceful & quiet. Our family of 8 had multiple devices and gaming systems using the wifi with no issues of lagging or buffering. We all enjoyed the movie room, playing video games, singing karaoke and watching movies. Everything worked properly as it should. All of us took a turn in the massage chair!! We fell in love with the pups Shadow & Wickett. Playing ball/fetch with Shadow was the highlight of our stay. Our host Erik was friendly and quickly answered our questions. Will definitely be back!

House was clean and well lit. Decor was very elegant. Kitchen was fully stocked. Nice beaches within 15 minute drive. Overall area is very nice. The lighthouse club amenities were great, but at the time of this review the restaurant and bar were closed for renovation or management change.

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home! It was clean and comfortable. My family felt right at home. There were beach chairs, paddle boards and even crockpots available for our use. The pictures online do not show the beauty of this home. Would definitely recommend to stay in this home.

Great place 10 minutes from Busch Gardens. Very spacious bedrooms and common areas. Clean and equipped with all the necessities. My only “gripe” is I was expecting one king and one queen bed but got one king and two doubles. It wasn’t a big enough deal for us to request to be moved. Just be aware if that is a deal breaker for you.

Colleen's place was clean, great location right on the boardwalk and at a great value for my family's needs. Recommend if you're looking for a place right on VA Beach with lots of amenities in walking distance and especially if you just want to lay on the beach all day.

The house was very nice and the amenities like the community pool and hot tub were great! We were swimming outside at the end of October because the pool was heated! We arrived at night and had a tricky time finding the front door, it was a little confusing, but we eventually found it. The house was lovely and well stocked with dish soap and laundry detergent. The only complaint was how uncomfortable the master bed is. Other than that we enjoyed everything about the house.

A great time with our family here! The dock, the paddle boards and kayak were a plus. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great place! We really enjoyed all of the outdoor amenities. The kayaks, paddle boards, fishing, hot tub, hammocks were all great. Have two teens who very much enjoyed. Was relaxing but a lot to do there also. Lots of jellyfish so we did not swim at all. Definitely a lot of fish and crabs that can be caught right at the dock. If more serious and knowledgeable about fishing then us, may want to bring extra hooks and tackle box. Definitely some size-able fish. Bait shop in town has a lot of supplies but very limited hours. The house had tons of towels, washcloths, etc. which was nice. Kitchen had oil, spices, plenty of cooking utensils, pots / pans, dinnerware etc. Blackstone was nice. Made it very easy to cook. Very few restaurants open M-F. Of those that were, most closed by about 3. Newsome’s was a great local place for lunch. Crab cakes were outstanding. Definitely would stay again. Had a great time!

We loved this cabin, and Caleb was such a gracious host! Arriving to a dozen farm fresh eggs was such a treat. We grabbed some bacon (Smithfield brand, of course) at the local Kroger and had eggs and bacon every day of our trip. The cabin is so quite and peaceful. It literally feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, but it's a 5 minute drive to all kinds of shops and activities. The povided kayaks were a major selling point for us. It was a very relaxing and beginner friendly paddle up the creek to the river. We saw all kinds of wildlife including otters playing in the creek! It is true that the hot tub is a little glitchy, but it was plenty warm and didn't impact our enjoyment of it at all. Caleb was kind enough to stack wood in the fire pit for us, making our evening campfire easy and streamline. The cabin is really close to great hiking, boutique and antique shops, the brewery, winery and restaurants. I wish we would have taken him up on the offer to bring our dogs. Next time!

We stayed at Julie’s home with a group of friends and our families and had a wonderful time. The lakefront setting was incredibly relaxing—we found ourselves rarely leaving the property because it had everything we needed. From soaking in the hot tub to enjoying the game room, there was something for everyone. The kids loved having space to run around in the basement, while the adults enjoyed peaceful mornings and evenings on the screened-in porch. Julie was very responsive and answered all of our questions quickly, which made the entire experience seamless. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great property & host. We booked our reservation because of the appeal of the backyard/property, but the home was just as nice. One of the cleanest properties we’ve ever been to. Clear and easy communication with the host - easy to check in and out. We hope to come back next year!
