Townhome holiday rentals in Eastern Scheldt

We (family with 2 children) had a nice holiday here! The apartment is located outside of Oostburg, but you can quickly get anywhere by car. It is very quiet there and for children there is a nice play area outside the door. Very nice!

Very well-equipped house in a perfect location for families with children. Opposite is a large, safely accessible playground with many free attractions. The accommodation is located in a holiday complex with many children's activities, but these are subject to a fee for private guests and are expensive. Payment is made by card or cash (without change). Overall, a very nice stay, even if leisure activities outside the complex are limited and only accessible with a longer drive.

A very eclectic, but very comfortable home, with an owner who lives right next door, and is very prompt in responding to questions. Great living room, and well-appointed kitchen, with comfy beds. Be prepared to climb stairs!

Really a unique location: the view is so special, close to the sights and restaurants and yet wonderfully quiet. We highly recommend this!

We were traveling with our three children. It's a very modern and beautiful house. The house is very nicely decorated and the rooms are very large! It was very child-friendly - colored plates, a box with toys, high chair. They were very happy about it and were always very busy with the new toys when we were in the house. I can only recommend it!

It was a great stay in a great central location, very friendly welcome, maximum loving and tasteful design of house and garden and very warm hosts. We will definitely be back!

A huge 3 storey house stocked with all the necessities. There was a welcome beer and Belgium chocolates on arrival. Located close to the town and easy walking and a large supermarket 5 mins walk away. We were very comfortable and slept well and would choose this house again should we return.

Francis is a great host. The flexible hours he offered for our luggage during check-in and check-out and the fact that everything was thought of for us provided great comfort. If we go again, it will be our first choice. 🩵

Stayed for a week at Sharona's beautiful townhouse. Loved the decor and appliances. Sharona was so quick to respond to questions. Check-in and out was super easy, parking outside was close to the entrance for easy packing and unloading the car. We were 4 adults and liked the dishwasher for easy clean-up after cooking. Good selection of cleaning products provided, very clean facilities. Linens smelled fresh. Big bathroom with cabinets to store and organize toiletries between the 4 of us, taking a hot bath was delightful. One thing that could be improved are dressers to store clothing. Like other reviewers noted we also lived out of our suitcases for the duration. My mother adored the space and her room, she said she'd consider airbnbs in the future to hotels for the cost and space convenience. Grocery store 2 min walk from the townhouse. We were approached by the neighbors who demanded to know who we were and why we were here. He said we seemed suspicious and asked our intentions.

Lovely home, nice and quiet away from the busy tourist area. Only a 10 minute easy walk into town and also close to nice restaurants and a good supermarket. The kitchen is very well fitted out so great to be able to cook some meals at home. Yes the stairs are steep but as a group of 60 and 70 year olds we managed fine. Hosts were very responsive at all times.

The apartment is really very, very pretty, it is in a very central location. It is very lovingly furnished with all the details, has a beautiful terrace from which you could watch the many surrounding stork nests. From the apartment you can even reach Bruges by boat, otherwise it is just 6 km by car or bike along the canal. We liked it very much here and we can definitely recommend the apartment.

This is my favorite Airbnb of all that I've stayed in. Sophie was an absolutely woonderful host - everything is very thoughtfully prepared and arranged, she left a personal welcome, she was always immediately responsive when we had questions, and came over personally to introduce herself. The house is very lovingly decorated with unique, creative touches and very well stocked with everything you could need and more. The location is great, a short walk from the train station; there's a large grocery store about 150 m away and restaurants near the station . Wonderful stay!

Very nice apartment,very clean ,well-equipped, close to the historic district, quiet. Only downside ,staircase from the second dangerous, requires a ramp. We had a great time there.

We had a lovely stay at Marijes place, it was a cute and calm apartment which was equipped with everything you need to spend a relaxing weekend close to the sea. The communication was always super easy and Marije even got us a small welcome gift - always happy to come back! 😊

We had a wonderful stay at Pieter's gorgeous house! The design and layout were impressive, with thoughtful touches that made the space both beautiful and functional. It was a perfect fit for our family, including our toddler. The house was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and we appreciated the child-friendly features that made it safe and enjoyable for our little one. The spacious living areas and the well-appointed kitchen allowed us to relax and cook meals easily while our toddler was having a blast in the play area between the kitchen and the living room. The lush garden was the cherry on top of the cake. Pieter was incredibly responsive and provided great recommendations for local attractions and family-friendly activities. Very centrally located in a quiet street, within walking distance of restaurants and sights of the beautiful city of Middelburg. Contact with Talitha went well, responded quickly and had good tips and advice. Very cozy cottage, equipped with all comforts and wonderfully clean and fresh. Thanks to this accommodation, we have been able to enjoy a long Pentecost weekend. Also nice: a nice bottle of bubbles and a snack were ready on arrival to start the party immediately! The townhouse is in a central location, but still in a very quiet side street. Everything is within walking distance. The house is in good and well maintained condition. It has a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of bedrooms. Check in went smoothly and Cathy always had quick and helpful answers ready!

We (two couples) spent five nights at Blossom and Bloom and it filled every need we had for visiting the area. Beds were comfortable, two full bathrooms and a half bath on the main floor. Coming from Canada we appreciated the bug screens on two of the bedroom windows so we could have them open all day and night since there is no AC. The kitchen area is well equipped and we enjoyed sitting in the private garden. It was a 14 minute walk to the train station for our day trips, 15 minutes to two large grocery stores and 10 minutes to the laundromat. The information package we received from Lander before our arrival was very helpful. It was a very easy 15 minute walk to Old Town as well. We also ate at two restaurants in the neighbourhood and enjoyed the food.

Had a very nice stay in Nils' beautiful, spacious home. The house is fully equipped and Nils is a friendly host who responds quickly (and proactively), he gives clear instructions and useful tips. Beautiful, quiet area near the center (10 minutes by bike). In short, definitely recommended!
