Smoking friendly holiday rentals in East Sussex

Jake and Nadia were communicative, friendly and clean hosts. The room was exactly as described, and they were helpful while also giving us our space. We would definitely recommend them based on our experience.

Everything absolutely perfect!

I never met Catriona but talked on the phone with her. Self check in with the lockbox. It's a 5 minute walk to the sea. I only stayed a couple of nights and didn't cook. The flat was clean and comfortable. I felt free and at home.

Peters 1 bedroom place is wonderful! It is right on West Parade in Bexhill, and directly across the street from the beach and English Channel. The apartment has a wonderful seafront view from both the front living room and the lovely outdoor covered balcony. The furnishings and artwork is very nice. The bed was comfortable. The light hard wood floors with tall windows really enhance the feeling of the house. The bathroom is remodeled and the shower is large, with plenty of natural light. The kitchen and breakfast bar are fully stocked with dishes and plenty of cooking pots and pans. It has Full size refrigerator and dishwasher. We love this place and will stay here often in the future. It is a real gem.

Great host with good communication. Had a great stay, location fab with parking and an easy walk in to Brighton without the hassle of driving. Would stay again.

It was a comfortable stay with all the required amenities. It was easy to communicate with Jade without any hassle. He was proactive and cleared all the queries without any delay. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Room was clean and cost. We had a bit of trouble finding the place at first but the hosts were super helpful and patient.

What an amazing find Barn Croft is! Rodmell is so pretty in the early summer - and we we were able to go on so many different walks right from the front door We got an amazing welcome hamper from Ali & Tim and felt at home straight away - they also checked in on us during the stay, which was kind. This eco home feels very cosy with lots of wood and natural fibres everywhere - just like the pics. The beds were comfy, the only sound was birdsong and everything was clean and user friendly as expected. The house manual was a great help and also suggested lots of cool places to explore. Angel the cat is very sweet - she needs feeding quite a bit, but there were plenty of instructions on her likes and dislikes. We found it was best to top up her food before bedtime. All I all we had such a restful time in the corner of Sussex and would love to come here again sometime.

We truly enjoyed our stay in Hanna's apartment for a period of a month. The moment we arrived, the house felt warm and welcoming, setting a positive tone for our visit. It was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, making it a perfect home base for the three of us. The house was very convenient, with everything functioning perfectly. At the back, there’s a beautifully sloped garden that feels like being surrounded by nature, along with a charming summer house ideal for days with nice weather. Even though our stay coincided with cold and stormy weather, we still appreciated the garden's atmosphere. The designated parking area was also very helpful, especially when we rented a car during part of our stay. In summary, we lacked nothing, and our stay was very pleasant. It truly felt like a home away from home. When we return to the area, we will definitely try to stay here again.

Enjoyed my stay at Jonny’s place. Started to feel like home. Great location! Easy access to the train, motorway. Nice spacious place, nice neighbourhood. Definitely will stay again!

The perfect AirBnB. It’s a home first, loads of space, well thought out mix of rooms and bed arrangements.. plenty of table space to eat, a good size lounge and fab outside with brick BBQ…. It’s not hotel- perfect and doesn’t need to be, because it’s well stocked with little extras, games for everyone, LEGO for the kids, beach stuff and parasols, sauces and spices and breakfast things in, even a bottle of Prosecco. Lisa’s comms were great, even down to requesting parking permits.. there were only 4 of us staying, but would have been fine for more… You can park outside, it’s a 7 min walk from the station, 15mins to the posh bit with bars and restaurants, and if feeling adventurous, you can walk the 25km Seven Sisters, taking in Beachy Head. Eastbourne itself has a great buzz about it, definitely up and coming and with a great food/pub/bar scene..

Lovely welcoming hosts and very comfortable bed and an excellent shower. Would definitely return. Bus into Brighton and Hove is super convenient, basically on the doorstep.

A cozy, comfortable and conveniently located in Rye. It's tempting to spend the day lounging around since one feels at home here. The town and surroundings, however, have a lot to see though.

Lovely home, hot tub was great - location was good for what we needed (we did a yoga retreat day nearby and it was walking distance) very clean, parked on road round the corner for free. Geo’s coffee across the road was nice too.
