Campsite holiday rentals in East Sussex

We had a great trip here with friends - the safari tent was exactly as described and perfect for what we wanted! Liz was a great host, responsive if we needed anything but equally left us to our own privacy. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings but not too far from local amenities and village life! Would definitely recommend!

Myself and 16 other University students stayed at the campsite for 2 nights and can definitely say we all had an incredible time. Tony was absolutely brilliant, communicating very well prior to booking, the days leading up to the trip and during our stay. He helped us with directions, local takeaways (which was extremely helpful for our large group) and was very easy to contact if we had any issues throughout our stay. The campsite was spotless when we arrived, all toilets and shower facilities were in good clean and working order. Would highly recommend booking this campsite for a peaceful, countryside getaway.

tony was very helpful indeed and made sure we had a good time! it's practical...plenty of fridges and BBQ space as well as room to play cricket. the only downside is that the site isn't totally secluded as there's another house nearby. overall we had a great time.

I love love loved it here! honestly, I have no complaints at all. Everything surpassed my expectations. The quality of the little things, towels, linens, wool blankets to having everything, absolutely everything we needed add in the most beautiful location, a hot tub and great friends and I truly didn't want to leave. I'm over the moon I've found this place and without doubt will be coming back . A proper gem of a place, you really won't be disappointed. it's impossible!

John is a brilliant host very friendly and welcoming. it was such a pleasure to stay. it’s a lovely place with beautiful surroundings. perfect place to get away from it all and have a break. everyone was lovely, and the price was great - saved me an absolute fortune over the bank holiday when everywhere else was a rip-off! I really enjoyed the laid- back and fun atmosphere at Johns, and it was a great pleasure meeting everyone. I have to give all the other housemates a mention as well - they were all brilliant hosts - so thank you to everyone for making it a memorable experience! X 😊❤️🌈🌤️

A beautiful campervan located right in the middle of a lovely part of the world to explore. Van was spacious for 4 of us and was easy to drive even if you don’t usually get behind the wheel of such large vehicles. Van well equipped with camping chairs, table and awning. Rebecca and Mike were really responsive and helpful.

A lovely location. Rowena was very helpful snd friendly. The bed was comfortable. I would stay again.

From start to finish, Anna couldn't have been more responsive or more helpful. She is a pleasure to deal with. I was interested in booking Anna's Greenman Campervan, but wasn't sure if the campsite in West Hoathly that I had chosen would be accessible. Anna visited the site ahead on time to confirm the van would work there. The van itself is such a groovy space. It's warm and comfortable and has everything you could need for a few nights away in the wilderness. The solar panels powered the lights, fridge and phone charging capabilities and the gas-fired cooker was perfect for boiling water and warming up breakfast. We used both the double and single beds and had a comfortable night. The tiny wood burning stove is a revelation and the van was toasty in no time. Anna also provided chairs, a table and a fire pit, which was a lovely way to finish our evening and a great place to sit for breakfast. All in all we had a fab time and would thoroughly recommend Greenman! Thank you!

Thanks for a great stay - the hosts were very communicative and helpful, and the spaces have been very thoughtfully designed and laid out. Brilliant to hear the chorus of birdsong in the morning too!

This place is absolutely unreal. Words cannot describe the beauty of this place and the hosts are amazing too! They have thought of every little detail and provide many ‘extras’ for your stay. Watching the sunrise in the morning whilst sitting in the hot tub is the best feeling! This place is a hidden gem and I will recommend this place to everyone, I honestly could not be happier with everything from start to finish! We spent evenings toasting marshmallows over the fire pit whilst drinking hot chocolate and then sitting in the hot tub watching the stars! I cannot wait to return to this unbelievable place! We both had a fantastic stay at Oastbrook! The setting was beautiful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The tent was comfortable and thoughtfully set up, everything you need for a cozy night in! Nick was an exceptional host, super responsive and helpful, which made everything even smoother. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a unique and memorable experience!

Chloe was a fabulous host- accommodating, thoughtful and personal. Gloria (the horsebox) was a character in herself and had everything a young family like us could want. We are not natural campers but love the space and freedom of the outdoor life style so this was a perfect compromise. So many magic moments, breakfast in bed with ‘that’ view, kids swinging on the tree swings, campfire whilst the kids in bed, deer running across the field, making dens in the top bunk bed, playing frisbee, having the private pool all to ourselves for two days running! Bliss. I would recommend highly!

Anthony was a great host. Extremely friendly and non-invasive whilst also offering tea and snacks throughout the stay. Really nice guy and a lovely tipi to have stayed in!

A lovely van in a lovely setting. We had a faultless stay and really enjoyed our time. Sam went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and always looked to help out where possible. This stay comes with our highest possible recommendation.

Always a delight to stay at Moat Farm – this time I stayed with my daughter in one of the bell tents. It was roomy and comfortable, beautiful view to wake up to in the morning, and Jan sweetly gave us a hot water bottle for the colder August nights. The box of cutlery/utensils/tea towels in Jake's barn and the large fridge/freezer plus the rest of the cooking equipment was plentiful and made meals really easy. Pool always a highlight in sunny weather. Would love to come back again soon and book a larger gathering with friends & family. Thank you!
