We stayed here for one night before my wedding with my bridesmaids. When we arrived, they had left lots of snacks and drinks for us including biscuits and prosecco, fresh bread etc which was such a lovely surprise! Thank you so much - such a lovely stay and all of the beds were very comfy.

A very lovely place to stay, in beautiful surroundings. Everything is very well thought out. We had a great stay with our 2 year old son and felt very welcomed.

Sabrina’s home is absolutely wonderful and gorgeous! Sabrina went above and beyond with her small touches, which were all truly appreciated. The place was pristine clean, and decked out for ultimate comfort! the location was also absolutely incredible!

Wir haben uns von Anfang an wie Zuhause gefühlt. Die Unterkunft liegt wunderbar ruhig und verfügt über alles was man braucht. Ailsa und Bryce sind hervorragende und sehr sympathische Gastgeber und geben gute Tipps und Ratschläge für Unternehmungen. Sehr empfehlenswert ist der Besuch im Pub „The Great House“ in Hawkhurst. Lebensmittel findet man ebenfalls in Hawkhurst. Die Unterkunft war in einem perfekten und sehr sauberen Zustand. Alles ist so, wie auf den Fotos beschrieben.

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah's place. Such a lovely house in a peaceful location surrounded by nature. Sarah was really responsive and provided us with a detailed description of how to find the property. There was also a useful guest info folder with good suggestions for local attractions, food and pubs. The house itself was fabulous. Brilliant space, absolutely spotless on arrival, well appointed kitchen and a very comfortable bed. Access to the garden and the river just beyond was excellent for some bird watching. Sarah and her husband were brilliant hosts, thank you so much for having us. We hope to return again soon!

This was a really lovely stay for our small family. The cottage was spotlessly clean inside and it had everything we needed. Sharon also left us a small welcome hamper with some essentials for us to use when we arrived. Such a lovely gesture. We will definitely be back in future as we have family living in Battle. Thank you Sharon!

Lisa is a friendly and proactive host, and she quickly responds to messages. The Airbnb is easy to find, spacious, airy and light, with everything you might reasonably need. Very comfortable bed. The neighbourhood is quiet, there is a little high street conveniently within a few minutes walk, as are bus stops to Brighton and elsewhere. Also nearby is a park, a lido and the beach.

Kate’s place is such a cosy bolthole to explore Hastings from. Has a well equipped small kitchen, good WiFi, super comfortable bed. Good heating etc also very nearby to local friends for us. Kate is also a great host & was quick at communicating and checking we were all ok. Would highly recommend !

Stayed here for 2 nights as son was attending a fuction in Tunbridge. The Annex was lovely, had everything we needed, was very comfortable and spotless. Suzanne had thought of everything in what was supplied including a great selection of tea bags! So many thoughtful touches for guests throughout the home. Information pack was great and very useful. Loads of kitchen equipment and very comfy beds. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Extremely comfortable annex to the owner’s home. Private, quiet & very well stocked with delicious breakfast items. Cool in the hot weather too. Good pubs & close to the Bluebell Railway. Marvellous surrounding countryside & lots of lovely places to walk. Thank you.

The annexe is great. John was able to let us check in early, met us on arrival and showed us round. He very promptly sorted out an issue with the tv. The annexe was spotless, excellently equipped, with a very comfy bed and excellent shower. We found the sofa somewhat uncomfortable, but that was the only thing we could not give 5 stars for. It is on a fairly busy road, but any noise did not bother us at all. The location is excellent; an easy 15-20 minute walk to the town and seafront. Close to the railway station and with a bus stop nearby. We were visiting family while we were there, had a great time seeing a lot of Eastbourne [can recommend the sightseeing bus and the harbour] and would happily stay at the annexe again, if John would have us!

We booked a last minute break and Sarah’s place was perfect! Peaceful, beautiful gardens and stunning, comfortable suite, it felt so calm and light despite the miserable weather. Sarah was really kind, friendly and understanding with flexible check in/out and the most delicious breakfast. We will be back soon.

Sarah greeted us and gave us the warmest welcome, this was an absolutely perfect countryside escape! We had the most wonderful stay in this beautifully converted stable, tucked away in the stunning Kent countryside. The setting is peaceful and picturesque – a true retreat from the hustle and bustle. The space itself was spotlessly clean and styled to perfection, with a lovely blend of charm and comfort. The bed linens were luxurious and incredibly comfortable, and there were so many thoughtful touches throughout that made the stay feel extra special. Every detail had clearly been considered with care. We wouldn’t hesitate to return – a real hidden gem!

Lovely location and grounds. We ate at the gastro pub across the road - pricy but food delicious with excellent service and atmosphere. Photos reflect the accommodation perfectly. Well equipped and comfortable. Ashdown Forest is close-by with stunning walks and scenery. Annette was attentive and friendly, but not intrusive, kindly leaving us milk and a delicious cake on arrival.

Had a great stay, the view from the balcony was amazing. Adrian was very helpful with any questions I had, offered local knowledge, loaned me a phone charger when I couldnt find mine and offered a fan for the room when it was really hot. All in all a lovely place to stay.

A very handy stopover for the university with good transport links to the centre of Brighton. Communication from the host was clear and this place is excellent value for money.

This was a joy. Beautiful touches when we arrived: fresh flowers, a sourdough loaf and butter, milk and jam, and a small welcoming personalised note. Unexpected and delightful.

What a clean, cosy and very tasteful annexe Kristen has Right opposite the beautiful Alexandra Park and about 10 minutes walk to the Town centre The bed is extremely comfortable and the bed linen and towels are really nice. The place was spotless and in very good condition. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for and extremely good value stay in Hastings. Thank you Kristen, it has been a fantastic weekend for us

Eventhough it is on the main road, the accommodation is below street level at the front so was a lot quieter and brighter than I thought it would be. Parking is just across the road, so no trouble carrying luggage. Clean, comfortable, and quiet with lots of space.
