The Cheesehouse - converted barn

JulieRating, 5 stars3 days ago
The Cheesehouse, belonging to Tamsin was the most beautiful Airbnb we have had the pleasure to stay in. Firstly, the communication before our break was timely and responsive. Check in was wonderfully simple and everything explained to us by our host who understood the need for a break away from everyday life! The house itself was beautiful. Clean, but homely; simple but had all the essentials and some luxuries. 😊We stayed on one of the hottest weekends, 2025 has yet to offer and the house was pleasantly cool. The seating areas were plentiful - depending on my mood and the time of day, I could choose between a sofa, an armchair, inside table, outside table or a garden chair. I was spoiled for choice. The bedrooms were clean, comfortable and had a lovely breeze coming through with the main bedroom's triple aspect windows. Mere is a wonderful town. I would say it is more of a village but Wikipedia would disagree with me. Lovely pubs and shops around ten minutes walk away.

Mill House Snug, Wylye, Warminster, Wiltshire

DanielRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Snug is the perfect term to describe it. It was perfect! Peaceful, quiet and completely private, with everything you could need. An absolute gem on the river. We also got a bonus of some lovely free flowers and to explore another property garden, as no guests were staying. I cannot reccomended enough for a nice quiet escape or peaceful romantic getaway. We will definitely return. 11/10

Swallows Return - Alpacas-Gardens-Brook-Tennis

JessicaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a wonderful 2 night stay on our way to Cornwall and the setting is just stunning. Our toddler enjoyed paddling in the stream and feeding the alpacas and our dog loved the freedom of being of the lead. Everything was clean and comfortable and it was great sitting and eating on the patio overlooking the garden and wildflowers. Highly recommend!

Hilltop House Glastonbury next to Tor with hot tub

AmyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had an amazing 50th birthday party at Sophie’s house. This is a gorgeously characterful property with the most amazing gardens, 15 mins walk into Glasto and 10 mins to the torr. I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook. We had an early check in and late checkout for no extra cost and communication was brilliant throughout.

Harriet and her husband were exceptional hosts. Friendly and approachable, such lovely people. The accommodation was absolutely stunning and the surroundings so calm and peaceful. We were made to feel right at home. The quality of everything was absolute top end and we were so comfortable. The fresh bread and milk was a lovely touch on arrival. Nothing seemed too much. It was just so lovely and we will certainly be back. Thank you so much.

Chic seaside apartment

AartiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Anna's place is a beautiful. It is done up to a beautiful standard, and a great location to explore Weymouth, durdle door and Lulworth cove. Positives: - beautiful welcome pack on arrival - clean linen and towels - all instructions were easy to use - lovely spacious and airy - It has a spar right next door. - parking onsite - jacuzzi was nice Negatives -I believe Anna has new cleaners that day so kitchen and bathroom weren't 100% clean and bit musty. -the garden could do with a bit of maintenance - there is no stair gate for stairs worth noting for people with young kids. - no microwave (if needed) Overall it was a fab stay and we would definitely stay there again. Anna was quick to respond to my feedback and a superb host

The Beach Hut

ParinaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The beach hut is a perfect retreat. It is beautifully kept and has a gorgeous private garden which goes right up to the water’s edge. It’s wonderfully located less than 5 minutes walk from the main Sandbanks beach and Rick Stein’s restaurant. The Studland chain ferry is also very close giving access to stunning Shell Bay and the wild National Trust beaches. Michele was very friendly & provided many thoughtful touches including her homemade lemon drizzle cake - sublime! I would love to return as it’s a perfect spot from which to explore this area or just to meditate on your bed with a sea view. Thanks Michele!

The Garden House

ThomasRating, 5 stars5 days ago
I stayed here whilst working in the area, unpredictable hours meant that I needed more flexibility than a hotel could offer. This is my first time using Airbnb and it won't be my last. Ruth offered fantastic accommodation, which ticked all of the boxes that I needed, the bedroom is superb with a huge comfy bed. Downstairs has everything you could need to be comfortable, including a log burner, which after a long, wet and stormy day was most welcome. The grounds at Crawthorne are immaculatey kept, with some chickens and sheep to keep young and old entertained. Ruth couldn't do enough for me, and it was a lovely feeling to come back after a long day at work to find the place had been thoroughly cleaned and a gresh set of bedding. I would definitely book here again. Top marks! Thank you for being such a great host!

Bertie - The Double Decker Bus

JoanneRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We loved our stay on the bus. The bus was lots of fun, especially the driver’s seat and stairs. The setting was lovely and camping facilities were great (hot and clean showers). The farm shop over the road was great and plenty to do nearby. Highly recommended.

Stunning wooden lodge in Purbeck Countryside

KathrynRating, 5 starstoday
What a gem! We felt right at home as soon as we got out of the car. Lovely furnishings, and spacious enough for the two of us, and the dog to fully relax. We stayed in June but would love to come in the cooler months for an excuse to snuggle up on the sofa with the log burner going. Emma was always quick to respond to any messages, and when we had a little glitch with the hot water, she came round straight away to sort out the problem. We usually struggle to find places in this area that are “truly dog friendly”, but Emma’s cabin was perfect so we will definitely be returning.

The New Forest Cabin

SylviaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a lovely stay with extended family plus baby and dog! The cabin was delightful and much more spacious than we thought. It was in private and peaceful grounds on the edge of the New Forest. We saw ponies, deer, squirrels and lots of birds including woodpeckers in and beside the Cabin grounds. We made good use of the fire pit and bbq. The dog was in her element and the family enjoyed a very special time together. Michael checked all was well and responded quickly to any queries we had. We would highly recommend The Cabin and hope to visit again soon.

Ryans Cabin

EllieRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We have just returned from a lovely stay at Ryan’s cabin. Patrick and Margaret were so welcoming and lovely and were really helpful with giving us recommendations for walks, pubs and places to visit. The cabin itself was spotlessly clean and the bed was lovely and comfortable. The kitchen area had everything we needed for a few nights away and having cereals, milk + snacks provided was such a lovely touch. We also loved the fresh bunches of flowers dotted around the cabin. The location was stunning and so peaceful, it felt really private and was the perfect location for accessing the forest and coast. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle. We look forward to returning soon! Thank you!😊

The Hideout cosy woodland cabin with hot tub

NiamhRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our stay at the hideout was excellent, it was a great location with lots to do around the new forest area, and Sarah’s recommendations were excellent, especially the farm shops and pubs nearby. The place itself was so peaceful and felt very private, with the hot tub and bbq making for a perfect evening. Also the sofa bed was super comfortable with a mattress topper. The local produce on arrival made it even more amazing, we couldn’t recommend it more

New Forest Luxury Couple Retreat Eling Tree Cabin

AlisonRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We loved this cabin so much! It's gorgeous and looks just like the photos. It feels very private when you're there which we liked. There's a little car park and then a path behind the other cabin (which we really never saw, they're so private from each other) and then the cabin. Stunning country views and scenery. There was a firepit with an honesty system for fire wood and a gas BBQ, both we used. The shower is a decent size, bring your own shampoo, conditioner and shower gel but they did have some bubble bath for the amazing bath. We made full use of the very local farm shop which also has a really nice cafe. Also walked to the Anchor Inn in Eling, about a 10 minute stroll, pleasant enough pub with really good food. There's a nice little nature reserve in Eling too with boardwalks around the reeds which we explored. The New Forest is on your doorstep but for us relaxation was king and staying near to the cabin was just what we needed.
