Cabin holiday rentals in East Dorset District

We were so pleased to find this holiday home for our short break. Perfectly located on a lovely park surrounded by forest. So close to lots of activities and days out including the New Forest, Christchurch etc. The accommodation was in a quiet location, was spotlessly clean, super comfortable and Lucy is a fantastic host. We will definitely stay again when we next visit the area 😀

This place was exactly what we needed ! Quiet, peaceful and very nice location- perfect if heading to durdle door ! The glass house was exactly as I would’ve liked -10/10 design with a dream kitchen and perfect garden and hot tub which you can enjoy anytime ! Will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice getaway! ⭐️

What a beautiful hidden gem in Isle of Wight! Highly recommend! Nina actually thought of everything and the pictures do not do this place justice! We didn’t want to leave at all… the bed was the most comfortable bed EVER! The location is perfect in the friendly town in the world! Couldn't praise this stay any more, wish we had booked longer than a few days. Home cooked pizza, then the hot tub and watching the sun set over the hills, watching the deer in the fields and surrounded by the horses was absolutely wonderful. Nearby to Weymouth and ammenaties for exploring and stocking up. Made us and the doggo feel so welcome. Thanks so much for having us. We would love to come back!

A wonderful place to stay, just 15 mins from Peppa Pig World and why we chose this woodland retreat. A beautiful setting, views to the lake, great to have breakfast outside and watch the Wildlife, Heron, Moorhens, Swallows, Swifts, Deer, Squirrels etc. A real wooden lodge with all the comforts of home. Anna is a great host, always on hand with lots of local knowledge to share. The Harold Hillier gardens are fabulous, Beaulieu and Buckler’s Hard made for great days out, highly recommend.

This cabin is truly breathtaking, the photos honestly don’t do it complete justice which says a lot! Everything has been well thought out, and the cabin has a lovely rustic feel to it whilst having a few modern comforts as well. Really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back again for longer!

David was able to provide all the information we needed for a much needed relaxing stay. The self check in and little touches like a pack of logs for the firepit made arriving after a very busy couple of days incredibly easy.

Angela was a fantastic host, the cabin was so peaceful and very well equipt, the chicken eggs were amazing we made fresh american pancakes with them and made the best poached eggs too! The hot tub was a massive hit with the kids and was the perfect location for exploring lots of different beachs and woodlands! The dog was also living her best life 🫶

Paul and Mel great hosts, nothing too much trouble. Lovely spotlessly clean accommodation which is small but very well laid out and airy with high ceilings. Lovely garden and location great for walking from door to three sides of the coastline. Large park for dog to exercise in opposite. Everything available nearby in lovely village. I absolutely loved my stay in Bens cabin! Honestly one of the best air bnb experiences I’ve had. Ben had great communication throughout & was on hand to provide local recommendations. The cabin itself was clean & stylish. The bed was super comfy & I loved laying in it watching the stars through the skylight at night. The cabin was serene & quiet but also felt very safe and secure. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe both in the cabin and surrounding neighbourhood. The location is perfect - leafy residential area with all the amenities you need down the road + more. Mini Co-op, Tesco & Sainsbury’s so close. I also loved coffee (& vegan treats) from veggie cafe Yam just down the road. It was an easy 10/15 mins walk down to the beach. Pokesdown station only a 10/15 mins walk too so super easy to get to without a car. This is a perfect air bnb for anyone looking for a quieter break outside of the hussle & bustle of Bournemouth town centre. Thank you so much!

We really enjoyed our stay at Annette’s cabin. It was exactly as we had hoped after seeing the photos. It is cute and charming and just the spot to relax in, and a great spot to explore the area from. Annette and Russ were very friendly and we couldn’t have asked for any more from them. We hope to be back some day to enjoy this beautiful spot again.

Wow - what a beautiful cabin and setting! If you want to immerse yourself in the beautiful surroundings of the New Forest - then this is the place for you! The cabin was spotless, with everything you need for a comfortable stay! The beds were so comfy and all the bedrooms have views of the surrounding woodlands, which was so lovely to wake up to. The little touches like the fire pit, complimentary bottle of wine, dart board and outdoor and indoor games really made this place even more special. It was just what I needed to recharge. Our dog absolutely loved sniffing about freely in the grounds, constantly finding us sticks to throw. The ponies even paid us a visit! Michael was a great host and checked in with us to make sure everything was ok... I only wish we could've stayed for longer! My family and I are already talking about visiting again in the autumn.

A beautiful rural cabin in Glastonbury. Everything you could need for a peaceful break. Only a 20-30 minute walk from the Tor, set in the countryside with incredible views and we were even visited by deer early in the morning. I just wish we'd stayed a little longer!

Great, modern, caravan with everything you need. The bed and sofas were comfortable, and the shower was good. The location is excellent — we could enjoy the sea even when the weather was awful. There is a pebbly and pleasant beach just outside, and it is dog friendly, as is the caravan site. Lovely walks start right from the door. There is a café within walking distance, though we did not get a chance to try it. We would love to come back.

The photos do not do this place justice! We loved Steve’s place. Super dog friendly, especially the private woods at the back of the Shed. This place is really big, lots of space inside and out. Comfy bed and sofa. Had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend! Steve is super friendly and his guidebook super helpful.

Jan was very helpful and always responded really quickly to messages, she gave us some great suggestions for local places to eat. The milk in the fridge and the biscuits were very welcome! Great stay!

We recently had a lovely weekend stay with our 2 year old daughter. The holiday home was modern, fresh and clean. It had everything we needed. We picked a good weekend as the weather was lovely and hot - the holiday home gets a bit toasty in the warm weather but having the sliding patio doors open gave a lovely fresh breeze. Thanks for a great stay.

Julie was fantastic from initial contact. She was immediately responsive and accommodating. We’d prearranged a late checkin, and arrived to a lovely considerate welcome package including bread, milk and jams. Julie’s place was lovely, cosy and quiet. It had everything we could need, and access to it was safe, simple and private. Julie had lots of local recommendations for us when asked, which was appreciated. She was also keen to listen to our experiences to pass on to future guests. We had a fantastic stay and enjoyed using our base to explore all the west coast had to offer. We enjoyed that the accomodation displayed some of Julie’s own artwork- we were even lucky enough to arrive during an artists open studio weekend, so had the pleasure of seeing Julie’s studio - an added bonus.

My stay at Tom and Pia’s chalet was an absolute dream! The gardens were breathtaking and I loved my visits from their cats, chickens, and peacocks to make my stay even brighter. It was a true immersion into nature and one of my favorite parts was a back gate exit that took me straight to the Tor entrance. Pia and Tom were so welcoming and gave clear instructions and great recommendations. A very special and memorable stay!

This was our second stay at the shed. As before all went very well and we enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend.

Such a fantastic lodge in a beautiful setting. It was located perfectly for us with everything we wanted to visit a short drive away. The lodge itself was well equipped and clean, a proper home away from home. If we find ourselves visiting the New Forest again we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. The Hyde was immaculate with stylish interiors. Comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen, great bathroom and a special treat on arrival. The view from the house was limited but there was a pub walking distance to the house and it was a short drive to some lovely local walks. All in all it was a great place to stay if you’re looking for a base to explore Dorset.

I’ve seen reviews saying that the pictures don’t do Debbie’s place justice and I would say exactly the same thing. The cabin is lovely and cosy, it smelled amazing when we walked in and it was so clean! There were a lot of well thought out extras - the private garden space, with extra blankets and cushions for the chairs. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and the bed was so comfortable. The cabin had everything we needed and with the beach being just a walk down the road away, we were really happy with the location. We had breakfast and dinner in the places Debbie recommended and would also recommend the Beachcomber for brekkie and The Cliff House for dinner. Amazing value for money, we would definitely come back. Thank you for all of your help Debbie and a lovely stay to celebrate our anniversary 🫶🏼

What I loved about Robin's accomodation was that it was private, very well equipped with a fully fitted kitchen! He had thought of everything. Not far from Westbournes swanky shops and cafes onto a wonderful walk through the amazing Alum Chine woodland opening directly onto one of the one of best beach stretches of Bournemouth.
