Holiday rentals with an EV charger in East Africa

We’ve been upgraded to Sarah’s Maison since the primary accommodation was still under renovation. Everything was great and as described by Sarah. The whole house was like a dream and definitely exceeded our expectations. There were few spots like the bathroom mirrors, the kitchen sink, and the appliances drawer in the kitchen which were not cleaned and they were stained but it was not something that bothered us that much. All in all, it was a fabulous experience!

Lucie was a kind, pleasant & responsive host. The place is cozy and comfortable with all the amenities listed. I would definitely recommend and come back.

This is a very nice Airbnb with thoughtful interior design and well-curated amenities. The host clearly took time to ensure everything a guest might need was provided, which I appreciated. One of my favorite features was the fresh breeze that comes in through the balcony, making the space feel open and relaxing. The location is also central to everything—I visited Masaki often, and it was just a quick 15-minute ride by motorbike taxi. The highlight for me was the bathroom—it was modern, clean, and fully equipped with everything I needed during my stay. That said, there were a few challenges. As someone who works remotely full-time, the frequent power outages made it difficult to work consistently. Unfortunately, the electricity would cut off almost every evening—right during my working hours due to the 7-hour time difference with the U.S. Overall, I enjoyed the space and hospitality, but I would recommend it more for vacation stays rather than remote work setups.

The accommodation is much nicer than in the pictures. We had a fabulous stay and the hosts were easily accessible at all times.

Beautiful apartment in a stunning neighbourhood. The real standout, though, is the amenities—an excellent gym and a large pool made the stay extra enjoyable. Rory was incredibly communicative and lovely throughout. I’d definitely stay here again.

Nicely set up apartment and great amenities, including well equipped gym. Very convenient to get around Nairobi from here, and was nice and peaceful. Check in was slightly complicated due to not having the security fob or key code until we called, but was resolved swiftly once we spoke to the host.

I booked Genet House Holiday Home for my family, and they had an amazing stay! They loved the spacious and well-designed house, and the wildlife roaming nearby made it even more special!!! Andy was fantastic hosts, making them feel welcome. The check-in was seamless, and the location was perfect—peaceful yet close to Kruger. We had a very pleasant stay in Caroline's studio. She was lovely throughout the stay, and welcomed us warmly into her home. Caroline was super responsive every time we wrote to her, and the accommodation perfectly matches the description. If you want to spend a quiet stay in Bras-Panon, this is the ideal place, we recommend it.

amazing place and amazing host!

Such a lovely place, very serene. The house is so unique and it has all the amenities you could ever need, reliable internet, hot water and solar energy. The washing machine and gas stove is such a welcome bonus traveling with kids. Munashe and Tsibo are such a warm couple, they made us feel right at home and they were very accommodating. I cannot recommend this place enough. Very safe and private too.

Judy made the difference. She is an amazing and proactive host. I found her place convenient in terms of getting around because of proximity to Thika Road, the malls and restaurants. Loved the local feel. A really great deal for the price.

Lovely apartment in a convenient location with shops and restaurants nearby.

I really liked my stay at this apartment and it felt like a home away from home. It is very close to everything e.g. beach, shops, restaurants. The outside area is nice to sit and have a meal or relax. The car parking space underground is great and very secure. The place has everything you need for a comfortable stay e.g. snorkel, goggles and many stables in the kitchen e.g. coffee, salt etc. There is afold out couch bed if needed. Would recommend.
