Rocknest-An Architect’s Contemporary Mountain Home

MoniqueRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A quiet luxury modern home on a hill. Just what we needed for traveling and intense work. A place to calm down and relax after work. Great views. Lovely area for walks. Every evening we enjoyed walking the quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. Great tips from the hosts for nice cafes in the neighbourhood. With the winter cold we enjoyed the combustion fire place and electric blankets on the beds. We enjoyed the wine and the thoughtful gesture of coffee and tea being present at welcome. Communication with host was nice and easy. We missed a bit of sun on the property due to many trees, especially in winter the sun is welcomed. The house feels very good and everything worked. We will definitely be back.

VI Miles Lodge Romantic chalet ,great ocean view.

JiaminRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a wonderful stay at Gene’s house. The house is built on a high place, to be reached by a staircase. The terrace is incredible, with a stunning sea view - even more beautiful than in the photos. The house is thoughtfully designed and has a romantic charm, perfect for a couple. We found everything we needed: a coffee machine, a washing machine, a barbecue… everything was there. Gene is a fantastic and friendly host — truly one of the best we’ve had on Airbnb. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend Gene’s place.

Eco-friendly villa with private beach

WilliamRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The location of Alexandre‘s place was excellent with our own private beach and reasonable coral just offshore that we could swim to and snorkel over. They provided snorkels. The view across the street between nosy Komba and the mainland was beautiful and always stimulating with small fishing, boats and fisherman passing by.

Faru House - Lake Nakuru National Park

OnditiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I really enjoyed my stay at Faru House, Kathy has a spectacular team on site to assist with all that you need. This was a relaxation trip so I didn’t leave for any activities but they have recommendations for activities one can explore if interested. From the front porch, I saw Gazelles, Zebras, Buffalo, Warthogs and a variety of bird species. As a solo traveler I felt very safe and would definitely recommend this place to other solo travelers. The house is even more beautiful and spacious in real life. I look forward to visiting again! Thank you Kathy and team for a memorable stay 😊

Seahorse – Anse La Blague, Praslin

NicoleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a wonderful place! The location is very quiet. It is a pleasure every morning and evening on the balcony by the pool. The journey there by car is exciting the first two times to drive yourself, but then you get used to it. We liked to go somewhere for lunch during the day and have a nice dinner at home in the evening so that we did not have to drive on these roads in the dark, but the time we did, it was also fine. It is a wonderful house with a nice bed and you have a lot of freedom of movement at the cottage. We felt right at home there. When snorkeling from the beach, my friend saw turtles, and in the evening, you can also enjoy a few beautiful bats flying over at sunset. Vanita is fantastic and responds to everything immediately. It's nice to have someone to fall back on when you have questions. Everything was arranged perfectly, and we will miss the place very much.

Stylish private wildlife retreat | Mountain View’s

KevinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Pia’s wildlife home near Kilimanjaro was a peaceful, hidden gem that exceeded every expectation. From the warm welcome by all the staff to the daily care we received, everything felt personalized and special. The home was spotless and well-maintained, and we were surprised to have two full-time staff members helping daily with cleaning, dishes, and housekeeping. It felt like a private resort. We also hired the chef, Arnold, for just $30/day. He made three fresh, delicious meals daily for our family, and even packed boxed breakfasts and lunches for our safari days. His cooking was a highlight of the trip. This home is drastically under-advertised and offers far more than described. It’s the perfect stay for anyone visiting Kilimanjaro, Arusha, or any of the nearby safari parks. The peaceful setting, high-quality service, and incredible staff made this one of our most memorable travel experiences. We’d return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it.

Nairobi Dawn Chorus

SandraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed at Pauline's place for 2 nights and were absolutely delighted. You should know in advance what you are getting into (sleeping "outdoors") but then it's a dream. Getting there is a bit difficult if the taxi driver is not familiar with it. But once you arrive, you feel right at home and if problems arise, Pauline can always be reached. We used the property to "arrive" after a long flight. In retrospect, more nights should have been booked. Sturdy shoes are definitely important because the terrain can get slippery on the steps in rain or high humidity. The entire property is a dream and if we are around again we will definitely book the treehouse again 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Thanks for everything
