Rita’s place didn’t disappoint , the unit is lovely just like the pictures and Rita has gone out of her way to think of every little thing that her guests may need, one of the nicest Air Bnb listing we have stayed at,was our first time visiting Marloth park we loved the animals visiting every day. Very peaceful stay and Rita is a very responsive host 💕

I was able to check in early and check out late so that was awesome! The host was very responsive and accommodating. The place was nice. The building is pretty secure for the most part (there’s 24 hour security/ reception) and has a gym, pool and restaurant. I liked its proximity to the mall and other attractions in sandton. Would definitely recommend this unit if you’re looking for a place to stay in sandton/johannesburg!

The accommodation matches the description, very well-equipped. The vanilla and rum factory next door are nice, and in addition, it is very convenient because it is 15 minutes from the airport without entering Saint-Denis. Nelly and Pierre were very kind, I recommend this accommodation for visiting the east of Reunion Island.

There are a few appliances that need to be fixed around the house but nothing that will make yor stay uncomfortable. We really enjoyed it but being a home owner and renter I do appreciate everything being in good working order. The response to any issues was amazing and we had a lovely stay. I would stay again for sure

We had such a lovely weekend at Sarah's cottage — it really felt like a home away from home! The view was absolutely stunning, and the best part is that it’s just a short walk from some great restaurants. Sarah truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, sharing fantastic recommendations for local dining and fun activities. This charming place is only a short stroll from the lake, where you can enjoy Fisherman's Camp for a drink on the veranda or visit Camp Carnelleys for a delicious meal. Plus, Hellsgate National Park is just down the road, ready for exploration. Personally, I enjoyed spending my time relaxing on the veranda, immersing myself in a good book, and taking in the breathtaking views of the lake! I did see some comments on Airbnb about the access road to the cottage being a bit tricky, but honestly, it’s really not bad at all. The short stretch on a dirt track is manageable for any car, provided you drive at a slow pace.

Thank you Susan, Collen, Rudo & Tariro for providing us luxury and the comforts of the apartments after our 8-days safari trip in Botswana. The gardens was peaceful and welcoming and the beds were heavenly. Having ensuite bathrooms to both bedrooms made it convenient to our group of 3. I am happy we booked with Susan and her team, she also introduced us to her trusty travel/taxi guide, Pride and he was a gem. He made sure we got to the apartments and took great care of our logistic/travel needs. I wish all of you the best and thank you!

This was the perfect little tree house retreat. The house was nestled in a beautiful little corner of the property, with a narrow path to guide you, surrounded by trees for privacy. There’s a covered patio that is perfect for an outdoor hang in the rain, the area surrounding the tree house gets quite a bit of sun but you need to bring your own equipment to enjoy it. This is a tree house through and through no frills but an authentic rustic experience. There’s hot water to enjoy a bath and shower, mosquito nets to protect you from the occasional flying thing that creeps in at night ( I wasn’t particularly bothered by bugs but the mosquito net allowed me to sleep peacefully), there’s a cute little loft with a bed. The kitchen has everything you need to sustain yourself but no gourmet dinners are happening here. WiFi worked perfectly. It was just the perfect little no frills low tech retreat that I needed. Stairs are a bit narrow so no kids/ wobbly folks.

This place is definitely worth your time looking at. I thought I’d miss being right at the beach, but honestly, we looked forward to coming ‘home’ to Joseph and David and the calm, quiet, cool of Ruby House. We spent time reading, playing games, reconnecting and resting, as well as swimming and bobbing in the creek - listening and watching birds. It is so peaceful - chatting with fishermen, and just taking in the surroundings. We went for a few day trips- the Gede ruins are well worth an hour of your time, sand dunes north of malindi were great. And we LOVED Garoda Beach - much less seaweed and less busy. I could not speak more highly of the staff - they were present but not, flexible, understanding and really wanted to help make your time enjoyable. The rooms were so comfortable. I think it may be a little hot in the very hot month, but it gets a lovely breeze and there is always the one room to escape into for an afternoon nap if necessary - but we didn’t need to do this. Thanks!

A big thank you to Nicole for this warm welcome! The accommodation is cozy, with neat decoration which gives a pleasant atmosphere. Everything was perfectly clean and well organized. Access to the swimming pool with stunning ocean views is a real invitation to relax and escape. Nicole is always available and attentive to her guests to ensure they have a comfortable and peaceful stay.

Gary’s place is the best for a calm holiday. The chef is polite and cooks delicious food with great suggestions. Very helpful staff who are not too much in your space. They helped keep the place clean and that made the holiday so much better for us. This is truely a gem and we will definitely be back. Thank you Gary

A beautiful house and amazing staff. The chef, Mondo, is an excellent cook and the rest of the staff made us feel comfortable and at home. The house is only a few minutes walk from the beach and tuk-tuks are easily accessible. Also, the dogs were family friendly.

We had a lovely stay at Peter’s cottage. Despite his help and pins sent, we ended up calling Gabriel to confirm we were on the right track. After the huge amounts of rain, the last bit down to the cottage was a true challenge. Mud and previous cars had destroyed the road at some parts. So even in a strong 4wd Land Cruiser this was not pleasant. Again Gabriel helped us out. But once we arrived at the cottage, that was all worth it. What a gem! Great location, cosy and clean with nice places to sit around the house as well. Peter’s staff took very good care of us. They made the fire, cleaned and helped us with whatever request. Michael walked us around the tea fields and the forest (we preferred the first with wonderful sceneries). I would certainly recommend Peter’s place with the remark it might be more convenient (less stressful) to travel outside the rainy season.

The house is beautiful with beautiful materials, large volumes and beautiful works on the walls. The pool water temperature may be a little cool in winter due to the wind. This rental is to be recommended without hesitation, certainly the most beautiful rental in the wild south of Reunion.

Patricia is a super host. She communicated well and made things run smooth. This place was great! Super clean, comfortable and spacious. Risper the housekeeper and Wafula the chef made this vacation extra sweet for us. We cleared the plates from delicious meals everyday and Risper was very hospitable. Having the pool was a plus. This is a hidden gem that we hope to come back again to someday. We are forever grateful!

The apartment was really great! The location in Black River (west of Mauritius) is perfect for excursions and daily supply (supermarket, restaurants, boulangerie etc.) is just around the corner. The apartment complex is very nice, clean, safe and well maintained. The pool and the lookout from there on black River Bay and Le Mourne is tremendously great - not only for sunsets. The apartment itself doesn’t lack anything. It was perfectly clean, felt very nice, private and welcome to be inside of it and the balcony is great to enjoy your food or just to relax. It’s in our opinion of a perfect size for four people (family) and the available utensils/ items in the kitchen are well thought-through. Priscilla is a wonderful host with a perfect balance of being very helpful, friendly and reliable without forcing you to anything. We would definitely recommend the apartment as we experienced it.

Come for the views, stay for the food! What a beautiful spot with tons of space to spread out. The house and grounds were gorgeous, located on a pristine beach, yet relatively private. The staff were all super helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Pool was refreshing, yet surprisingly deep. Chef Nixon made us amazing seafood dishes all week. Only draw back was the lack of A/C in the bedrooms, which most comparably priced stays offer in the area. Check out the kite surfing, SUP, and kayaking rentals right next store. During low tide, head straight out half a mile to the sandbar and enjoy hunting for starfish!

The house was fantastic - safe, clean, and beautiful location. Everything was as described, and easy to coordinate with the staff (expect to translate). Mathieu was very responsive and made it easy to pay for food and drinks via Airbnb link at the end. Everyone was lovely and food great. Additional things to consider : - Bring toilettres, only hand soap provided. - We loved the location for how private and developed this part of the island is, but know it is a bit far from restaurant choices or things to do. We assumed you could eat at the resorts on Andilana beach, but that wasn't really the case. The VOI is for guests only (stopped us at the gate), and Royal Andilana only allowed non-guests to have the $60+/each buffet dinner. Cacao Beach restaurant ended up being a great spot. - Air conditioning only provided in 1 bedroom, was extremely warm in others - I'd say it's more semi-private because of the staff - New construction is happening all around, so was a bit loud in daytime
