Awesome property for a weekend getaway from the city. Sonny made this place into a fun playground - the pond is amazing, the hot tub, sauna, and back deck felt like a spa, and we enjoyed the fire pit and taking a short hike to the creek. The house itself is simple but has everything you need and we even managed to order Uber eats once from Kingston. The area is great, and we enjoyed the villages and a nice hike in the area. We will definitely come back.

The teahouse and surroundings were relaxing and peaceful. We saw groundhogs, deer, and chipmunks from the porch and our 2 dogs loved exploring the field and wandering in the nearby woods. The pool was amazing and warm despite the rain and the natural landscaping couldn’t have been more beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay!

The house is really gorgeous. Everything was very new/modern, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen overlooking the stunning view out the back. The hot tub and fire put were nice amenities to enjoy. The BBQ seemed to not be working, but other than that, no complaints. Location wise, the property is located in the northwest Catskills, near Stamford, NY, and convenient to many hiking spots in the area as well as nearby towns. The property itself its up on a hill, in what felt like a secluded and private spot, which made it feel like a real getaway and retreat. In sum, recommend this Airbnb for the nice amenities, modern touches, and amazing view.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Wilderkill Barn. Maria Cristina and William were exceptional hosts—warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our visit special. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The home was a haven, with a hot tub, sauna, pool, fire pit, pool table, and immersive sound and movie systems—all of which made our stay delightful despite the cold, dreary May weather. We can't thank them enough. ***That said, we feel it's necessary to address a serious issue with Airbnb itself that arose while booking this property, unrelated to the property itself. An unexpected tax was added after booking, and Airbnb has yet to provide a clear explanation. After years of loyalty, we were disappointed by their evasive and unhelpful customer support. This experience has made us reconsider using the platform in the future. We urge potential users to scrutinize all fees carefully and be aware that Airbnb’s support may be difficult to navigate if problems arise.***

We loved this cute studio cabin at the end of a quiet lane in the woods. The host was accommodating and left a welcome basket with tea & muffins for our arrival. The whole unit was clean and well maintained with basic equipment for cooking. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda watching the wildlife. Convenient location for Woodstock for coffee and food, & Ashokan reservoir for walking and cycling. There were a few potholes on the access road to the property which deer use to drink from (☺️). We loved that the cabin was bug free and did not have any trace of bug spray! (We get very bad reactions to that stuff). Thank you for hosting & being respive. Recommend for a weekend 👍🏼

We loved our stay here in Cornwallville! The location is really quiet and remote (great view of the stars), and the house is clean. The vibes inside are great, as are the hot tub and fire pit. Would absolutely stay here again!

Marta’s place was the perfect winter escape! The house was spacious, cozy, and even better than the photos. The high ceilings and open layout made it great for relaxing, and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Even in the cold, the house stayed warm and comfortable. The peaceful location made it feel like a true getaway, yet it was still close enough to essentials. Marta was a fantastic host—responsive and helpful from start to finish. This was our second stay at Elsbree House, so we knew exactly what to expect-a gorgeous Victorian home close to great restaurants and to fun area events. Rafael is an extremely responsive and flexible host who is always available by text. We hope to return in 2025!

The house was great! Warm and inviting. Super cozy and felt like home. Loved having a cup of coffee on the deck and just taking in the fresh air and the beautiful scenery. Very close to the hub of East Durham .

We struck gold with this Airbnb! This peaceful home, boasting a truly wonderful view, was everything we hoped for and more. The outdoor porch, in particular, was an absolute dream. It offered so many perfect spots to simply sit and soak in the morning tranquility or to gather and chat with family. We made the most of the grill, enjoying countless meals outdoors. Inside, the home felt incredibly comfortable and welcoming, with a full kitchen that was a joy to use. Even with eight of us, everyone easily found their own private retreat or a comfortable communal space. Whenever we had a question or a need arose, we received an immediate and helpful response. The suggested restaurants were also a delightful discovery. Even when the weather turned and it rained for our last two days, we felt incredibly lucky to have the covered porch, allowing us to continue enjoying the peacefulness and beauty of nature. My husband and I were blown away by the beauty and thought that was put into this private destination. The moment you step on property, the freshness of the air and sounds of the creek are immediately calming. Diana was incredibly nice and very communicative before and during the entire stay. Activities: The sauna, creek, hot tub, pizza oven, grill, fire place/pits, hammocks- the amenities are amazing and unlike any other Airbnb I have ever been in before. So much that besides a quick dinner out one night (12 min away) and a nice walk around the Mountain Top Arboretum with our dog, we wanted to spend our time at the property. We called it our personal sanctuary spa!! The home: The home style is minimalistic but homey and every single item is top notch quality. There are no shortcuts- the entire place is a work of art. The bedroom and bathroom inspired me to reanalyze my own bedroom style. Thank you for upping the Airbnb game!! Can’t wait to come back to this magical spot! ✨

Stan is an amazing host and was so courteous that he cleaned up the drive way when it snowed like crazy. He was extremely warm and nice to our daughter and it was great experience. We enjoyed the house and hospitality.

We loved our stay. It was very comfortable and tidy with a great selection of toys for our child to play with. It was nice and close to the ski spots, though not a lot nearby in terms of restaurants or coffee shops. Would stay again.

We had a lovely stay with a few days of skiing and hot tub sunsets. We came up for a small family trip with my wife and our two children and we had friends from the Poconos meet us up and my sister came down from Albany the area with my niece and nephew for the last evening to share some pizza from Windham Pizza. The hosts were very accommodating and I cannot recommend this property enough. Less than 15 minutes to the slopes made our ski trip super accessible. We had a wonderful stay at this house! It was incredibly convenient to Windham, had everything we needed/wanted in a weekend getaway. The house is excellent for all ages with the most spectacular windows and views. The hosts were also super responsive and accommodating. Definitely highly recommend to anybody visiting Windham.

We had a fantastic stay! The host was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our trip possible. Due to our car not being snow-ready, we got stuck in snow. The host kindly drove us up and down to the property, making sure we didn’t have to worry about anything! His helpfulness and hospitality made all the difference. He was truly a life saver! Jessica’s house is likely my best Airbnb stay out of nearly 100 so far! The place feels so much like home, with many warm and personal touches. I can’t say enough about the beautiful surroundings. The property consists of a large lawn, very nicely maintained, and surrounded by woods. We encountered rabbits and deer, apart from the calming sounds of birds all around. The creek is a short walk away, and holes to the waterfalls are close by. If I had a choice, I would never leave! We had an absolutely amazing stay, I recommend this to anyone who likes peace and nature.

This is a really special place and a hidden gem in Hudson Valley. With its modern architecture, well curated furniture, engaging art, beautiful open fields and a canopy of tall trees all add up to create a truly unique experience. The place has a full kitchen, a big and cozy living room, a patio perfect for lounging and very comfy bedrooms. The strategically positioned glass windows blur the indoor / outdoors. Michael is the perfect host with clear and responsive communication. My wife and I look forward to our next visit!

Overall great location, it’s very close to hunter mountain and Wyndham if you’re looking to shred. The inside of the home is very cool and smells like Home Depot’s lumber isle. 10/10 The outside is gorgeous. There’s lots of outdoor lighting and a really cool wood fired hot tub overlooking the stream in the backyard
