Holiday rentals with beach access in Durban

This was such a beautiful place, me and my friends are local travellers and this house was competing with very best accommodations we have slept at before . I love the Morden industrial decor and it instantly reminded me of Cape Town. Hossana, was very pro-active, I did not even need to send me him any texts. Beautiful place, worth every cent. Unfortunately we woke up late and we nearly missed our flight so we not able to tidy the place up the way we wanted to.

Thank you for an awesome stay, we truly were treated with so much care. The host was very responsive and made our celebration one to remember.

We had a great stay - the place is very comfortable and we felt right at home. We loved the view of the harbor! It's very close to the prom and the beach. We were in town for the Ironman event -- and this place is absolutely the perfect location as it's just by the swim start and T1... we were able to bike and walk around very efficiently. And it was also quiet, secure, and convenient. Thanks again! If we're back in Durban for another IM we'd love to stay again.

Absolutely to die for. Waking up to the most breathtaking sunrises and dolphin sightings—it honestly felt like a slice of paradise. The home itself was immaculate and beautifully designed. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was our host. She went above and beyond every single day—bringing us fresh coffee each morning (yes, really!), aand treating us with such genuine kindness. Nothing was ever too much trouble. It felt less like staying at an Airbnb and more like being welcomed into someone's lovingly cared-for haven. We’ve stayed in many places, but this one? It’s something special. We had an absolutely wonderful three days in Kathy’s place. The photos don’t do the place justice. The views are incredible… we chose staying in and enjoying the views over eating out. The beds and furniture are so comfortable and the place is beautifully decorated. Everything was clean and Kathy was so responsive and easy to communicate with. We loved the peace we felt in her home and will undoubtedly be back soon. Highly highly recommend!!

Great open plan & spacious home! The master bedroom particularly stands out! The estate is great with a variety of places to eat and explore. Appreciated the facilities as we had a toddler so this made life a lot easier.

Really lovely place, excellently appointed kitchen, nice quiet spot in Prince's Grant surrounded by trees. Easy to feel right at home here.

What an absolutely amazing place, totally worth it i can not use anyother words but stunning ,stunning ,stunning!! I was extremely impressed by the entertainment my little one had with all the toys. That was a big plus and the house was in such great condition everything worked and everything was perfect, the fact that there was shower gel,milk little muffins and so much more provided shows the attention to detail and care of the hosts amazing hospitality,she was so friendly and always available for assistance, not that we needed any but it was definitely a wonderful stay. Thank you so much may you continue to prosper.

Home is lovely and beautiful. The estate has many pools and restaurants and lots of areas for children to play and swim. Grant was a great host and would highly recommend Grant and this property! We can’t wait to come again .

A very nice place in Umhlanga, conveniently located with very nice views. Responsive hosted who readily assisted when l was struggling to find the place. Would highly recommend for solo and family accommodation.

I HIGHLY recommend this venue. It is perfect for a small family trip. The unit is spacious, fully equipped, and even has a washer/dryer. It is just steps from the beach/boardwalk, and the host provides helpful items like beach towels and beach chairs. Just note that it’s on the top floor of the building, so pack accordingly since you’ll need to carry your bags. Loren is an excellent host, fully responsive, and so very helpful. There are multiple beachside restaurants less than a 5 minute walk from the building, and lots of rock pools and safe swimming areas along the beach. If you are looking to stay in Ballito, this is the place.

Nicely laid out space for a group-share: four independent rooms, each with an en suite full bathroom. Proximity to beach is excellent. The condo is outfitted with everything you'd need--from kitchen gear to beach towels, etc. We were a group of seven attending a wedding and had a great time in the space. Trish was also very helpful: when one guest forgot his passport in the condo, she was quick to let us back into the space well after checkout. I would recommend Trish's place for anyone looking for a fun pad to connect with family and friends, beachside.
