On the banks of The Greenbrier River at the base of Cheat Mountain in the old rail town of Durbin, is River House. A rustic, riverfront getaway just downstream from a WVDNR Trout Stock Point, beside the Mountain Rail WV Durbin Station, & 30 miles from Snowshoe. Nestled between WV's highest peaks & within minutes of our country’s best fishing, hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, biking, skiing, hunting, Civil War Sites, & historic trains, River House is a perfect base for all WV has to offer.

Lit'l Country Comfort

Come and enjoy a relaxing, comfortable and peaceful stay at a fully furnished and renovated mobile home. This country home has a fully stocked kitchen, full bath, washer, dryer, and desk for a study area. Two (2) bedrooms: 1 queen; and bunk bed with full on bottom and twin on top. A fire pit to make S'mores! Coffee, tea, creamer, hot chocolate, snacks, toiletries, washing powders & paper towels, are provided for initial stay. PLEASE NOTE: No smoking (outside only) No parties No pets

Brent's Cabin

Enjoy our cozy and comfortable cabin situated on 20 private wooded acres near several trout streams, George Washington National Forest, Virginia Game Commission, hiking trails, and caves. Brent's Cabin sleeps four, including a double bed and two twin beds in the loft. For skiing we are 1 hour and 30 minutes from snowshoe and 30 minutes from The Homestead. For fishing we are 5 minutes away from the Bullpasture, 10 minutes from the Cowpasture, and 25 minutes from the Jackson River.

Spend your days enjoying all the activities that Snowshoe Mountain and Pocahontas County have to offer. Enjoy your nights unwinding in our authentic log cabin or around our private outdoor firepit located on 2 acres surrounded by trees, streams, mountains, & all the great outdoors has to offer. Only 15 minutes from Snowshoe Mountian but miles away from everything else.

Located in the pristine Mill Gap Valley. At night you can reach out and touch the stars. National Forrest is close by too. Enjoy the peace and tranquility that can only be offered in Highland county. The farm along with our Maple Syrup is certified Organic. From our apple trees to our hay and pastures. We are Organic! If you would like a tour of our farm or maple operation, let us know! By September 2020, there will be a new outdoor living area with a hot tub and dining.

Hit the Slopes from Ridgewood (free firewood!)

Stay here! In the coziest studio on the mountain, across from Powderidge slope/lift. Sleeps 4: queen bed + sleeper sofa (both with new foam mattresses), and a self-inflating air mattress, just in case. You'll have a full kitchen (with a Keurig and kcups), Roku streaming device, washer/dryer, a wood burning fireplace with FREE FIREWOOD (during ski season), and a balcony that backs up into a wooded area with plenty of deer to greet you. :)
