We had a fantastic weekend staying here to celebrate my best friend. The house is gorgeous with so much space! The photos do not do it justice! There was a lovely pool and hot tub. Sarah came by to make sure we’d settled in and was available if we needed anything. We’d even got a later check out which was a great bonus. Everyone had a great time! I will definitely recommend booking The Granary! I would love to come back for another trip. Sarah had also left us a bottle of Prosecco to welcome us which was a lovely touch we appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We loved our stay! Everything was clean and the bedroom were very nice with comfortable beds. The house had a very cozzy feeling to it. We didn’t had the right plugs for the phone charger and they were nice enough to borrow us 4. On the day of our check out we needed ice to put in the insulin container of my mom and they went above and beyond to get some ice for us, really thankful for that! Overall I would really recommend this place. Location was great too, close by to the beach and restaurants and just 1 hour away from Edinburgh

Lovely cottage, very comfortable and well-equipped, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Peaceful rural area with some nice walks and local wildlife around. The pool and jacuzzi were also super clean and a great addition. Highly recommended!

Host was very friendly with very good communication throughout. On arrival the host made it very easy to get into the lodge and came in and explained all amenities on site and was very polite. Overall, throughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and return.

Recently visited Pleasant Hill for Hen Weekend. We had previously been let down by another house and Chris was extremely helpful and reassuring. 17 of us stayed for the weekend and the house was perfect for what we needed it for. Chris was in constant contact with me, gave plenty of recommendations for local amenities and attractions and was flexible on check in and check out times. For such a large party, buying food was a concern of mines but he suggested we do an online shop beforehand and offered to collect it and put it away for us before we arrived. This really was a massive help and greatly appreciated, it was one less worry and concern I had in the run up to the weekend. Our bride and all guests had a fantastic weekend. Thank you!

We had a lovely long weekend at Tarken House. The views are beautiful. The house is spacious, well stocked and easily accommodated the 10 of us, all adults. House was lovely and warm and very clean. Beds are very comfortable and good size en-suites. Jonathon was very quick to respond to any queries we had. Would highly recommend Tarken House and definitely be back again.

A fabulous lodge on a great site. So comfortable with everything you could want. Beautiful bedding and towels. Great showers. Lovely 5 ring cooker and plenty pits and pans. Tanya was great leading up to the visit making sure we had all the info we needed. Very responsive when we had one or two questions. The only minor issue we had is that there is no terrestial tv due to location. We had to use apps on our phone. Highly recommended.

We loved the house and Drymen. The added bonus of the use of the pool, sauna and jacuzzi was brilliant. The house was comfortable and homely. Drymen was a lovely little village with lovely pubs, cafes and walks. Along the road there was a beautiful view out over Loch Lomond. I would really recommend. Jim was super helpful and let us in a little bit early, thank you so much.

The house is relatively spacious for 2 people, and located less than 10 minutes' walk from Inverkeithing train station. Door to door, we can therefore be in Edinburgh in 30 min, which is very convenient. Leon was very responsive when we had questions. He helped us adjust the heating, and brought us an extra blanket when we asked him. A few points to note however: the bed is quite soft, and the light passes quite a bit through the curtains of the room, so plan to bring an eye mask if you are sensitive to it.

Peaceful and quiet location perfectly situated to explore the local area. Comfortable and well equipped home with multiple large / spacious living spaces and an extensive well maintained garden.

Beautiful location and property. Had every amenity that was needed. A blow dryer was included, which was nice that we did not have to travel with ours as the plugs are different from country to country. The yard was filled with plants and flowers and was extremely beautiful. Conveniently located to many popular attractions as well as Northern England. We would stay here again. The town of Killearn is so charming, and the shop owners are very nice and willing to help with anything that is needed.

We had such a wonderful time staying at this property. The views are stunning and it had everything we needed. It felt so homely we didn’t want to leave! Thank you so much.

Thoroughly enjoyed! Comfort level excellent (especially bedroom). Cottage included everything you’d require for relaxing/cooking and having made the most of our week’s stay we appreciated a home from home to return to. I’d recommend Auchterarder and surrounding areas, and Dunsmore was just perfect. Credit to owners.

Liz is a fantastic host. Helpful, friendly and her place is spotless. Great location if attending an event at Broxmouth Courtyard as it’s just a 5 minute drive. Liz had left so many amenities in the cottage which was so helpful. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

It was a wonderful place of tranquility right in the environs of Edinburgh. Easy to get into Edinburgh, or a nice location for visiting a wider area, and easy to access public transport too. We were very impressed with the little touches which Claire provided, making our stay very comfortable, and the local information was very helpful.

We had a great time at Anne's place. The house is very well equipped and tastefully decorated. Thanks to Anne for his availability and hospitality. We would definitely recommend this house!

I had a wonderful stay at Jans. The room was cozy, comfortable and had everything I needed for a couple of nights. Easy to get into the city by bus too. Would definitely stay again.

This lovely cabin ticked all the boxes required to suit 7 adults from families coming together from afar, different generations, and physical abilities. Spacious yet cozy. The conservatory table was perfect for hysterical games of UNO while the weather dazzled us with its fickle self outside the giant windows, shifting from glorious rainbows over the hills, thunderous rain, and sparkling sunrises. Walks from the cabin were enjoyed by everyone. A Park and Ride into Edinburgh and a short drive to Peebles made days out easy. We had an unexpected plumbing issue and it was sorted out immediately while we were out. All said they slept well and the shower pressure/supply of hot water is fantastic. Underfloor heating is great. would happily stay again!

Incredible homely cottage in the heart of some beautiful surrounding countryside. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a quiet escape with the comfort of home !!

This is the most perfect Airbnb I've ever stayed at. Everything was exceptional. Beautiful space for my group of friends to hang out. Shirley was super accommodating and we loved the experience and we'll definitely coming back for longer.

We went to Scotland & stayed at Mark’s place for a week. The house was absolutely gorgeous! It’s super spacious & comfortable enough for 6 ppl with enough room for more if you’re traveling with more. The photos don’t do it justice. Mark was very nice & very helpful. He responded almost immediately with questions we had. It’s in a beautiful location, easy to get around (in a car). 15 minutes to the train station which we took into Edinburgh then a short walk to Edinburgh Castle & the Royal Mile. 30 minutes to Doune Castle & Stirling Castle. About 20 minutes to go see the Highlands Coos & a beautiful 4 hr. drive to go see Loch Ness & half way there we stopped to see where a part of Skyfall was filmed. Absolutely stunning, must see! I would highly recommend & I will be definitely be staying there again when I return to Scotland!

Wow! This stay was truly perfect for our family of 11. The home was beyond our expectations. The pictures truly don’t do the home or the surrounding areas justice. The grounds were perfectly manicured, the home was spacious and beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. Shona was an excellent host. She provided clear instructions and so many helpful suggestions. Our trip was beyond beautiful. We had the privilege of traveling to many parts of the country. We felt the home was in the perfect location to see as much as the country as possible. The home was a short 10 minute drive from the grocery store and also, had a delicious restaurant nearby. If you’re considering staying here, I would highly suggest it. It was the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at.
