House holiday rentals in Duluth

The place was wonderful and just what it said it would be. Everything was perfect. We didn't get to use the pool on site because the heater for it was broke, but they were super helpful in answering any questions we had and working with us on it.

we had a great stay, there were a few mechanical issues that were solved right away for us. my only real issue was the price was a bit high, especially compared to some nearby rentals, however it is a beautiful place to stay.

Located across from a school with a playground. The main floor has three rooms, two of them are on the medium large side the third is smaller (perfect for kids room). We had family members with kids visit us and the small room was great for nap time. The basement has a lot of free space, a bedroom, bathroom and laundry room. The kitchen had a good variety of dishes and utensils. Fridge was equipped with condiments and freezer had some food too. The rooms were clean and tidy. We enjoyed our stay at this place!

Our party of 6 really enjoyed our stay at Jean's place for 3 nights. The home was spotless and was very comfortable and well-appointed for cooking (including things like a colander and multi function toaster and a gas grill) as well as relaxing (various cards, games, books. We enjoyed exploring the beach and woods as well as sunrise and sunsets and nearby amenities (Betty's Pies! Castle Danger Brewery!) hikes (Bean and Bear Lakes, Temperance River, Gooseberry Falls) and historical sites (Split Rock Lighthouse). There is also a pool and hot tub. a quick walk away. The grounds and property are very well maintained and although it was a holiday weekend and full of other occupants, it was generally very quiet. Beds were comfortable and there were ample linens. We appreciated finding soap, shampoo and conditioner (hot showers with good water pressure!) as well as coffee, sugar and spices. Light/sound-sensitive sleepers may not want to choose the loft bedroom which is open,facing skylite

Jacob's beautiful home was perfect for our large family. Our Hawaii themed birthday party was a hit and your home offered the ideal space for making lasting memories. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The location was also very convenient. It was just a few minutes away from the hockey rink where we enjoyed a fun filled tournament. We were happy with the local businesses in town providing our food, drinks, decor and cake. Thank you Jacob for the great hospitality! Our stay was special and memorable. We would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful lake home! We really enjoyed our stay here, very close to Lake Superior and Gooseberry falls a short drive away. Everything was clean and cozy, our son loved all the little black bear decorations :)

The cabin was beautiful! It was private and we felt like we were removed from everything. We were able to relax and recharge. We were left great ideas for hiking, food, and sightseeing. We would love to book it again!

It was the perfect space for my family. It had all the comforts of home and something for all (pets included). Nicely decorated with all amenities needed (and more). Would definitely book again and recommend this home to others.

Scott was an amazing host. His house is so unique and he literally has everything you'd need in it for cooking, entertainment, and relaxation. The view of the lake from the house is beautiful and located within minutes of some of the best fish fry and smoked fish I've ever had. Would definitely come back again!

We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The place was so cute and cozy and was exceptionally clean! This place was fantastic! Exactly what we were looking for on our getaway trip. Quiet location to relax and enjoy the hot tub in the evenings. Quick trip to town for anything. Will definitely be back!!

Was very charming and well put together. It felt very comfortable and was what we needed.

This was my second stay at Maria’s place, and I/we truly love it here. It is clean, cozy, and fits our needs perfectly—so easy to settle in and feel at home. The garage is super convenient, and being right next to Kwik Trip (a Wisconsin classic!) is the cherry on top. Maria is a thoughtful, responsive host, and I am genuinely grateful to have found this spot. I am already looking forward to our next visit! Five stars.

Really enjoyed our weekend! The house is kept in great shape and if you have kids it’s next to a large park. The only negative is there is really only one functioning bathroom. Host was very responsive!

I am shocked this was available for a holiday weekend. Great please. Can walk to Canal Park if you wanted. And the home is great. The mattresses were so great to sleep on. Nice clean white towels. When you stay in a lot of airbnb’s you really appreciate the effort. Great place for sure!

Spent 4 days at the Denney Hus. It was amazing, the view, the animals, and the host obviously. Jeff and his wife Paula were very great to meet and extremely nice. Will definitely recommend and would not mind to come back for our next Duluth trip

We were in awe in the moment we stepped in! The space was huge. I loved the high ceilings! Made the place feel even bigger. The big windows had nice shades and bedrooms had blackout curtains. We were a family of 7 with an infant, 2 toddlers, and 4 adults. Here were some of the big wins for us: #1. The midsize garage fit our SUV! - granted my husband always boasts about his parking skills. The alley was quite spacious and allowed for my husband to back into the garage. #2. The starter kits were great. The place was stocked with everything. It was also kid friendly with plastic silverware/plates/bowls. They even had a small selection of toys for the kids (tucked away) #3. The kitchen was well stocked - it had everything we needed to cook, pack leftovers, clean etc. #4. It had washing/drying machine - for me, little ones always present the threat of messes (poopy clothes or vomit etc) and I felt at ease knowing that I had that available Jenna was super responsive and checked in on us.

What a beautiful home, relaxing space, and incredible views! We did not want to leave. That may sound cliche but believe me, we did not want to leave! The wrap-around-deck meant we could be in the breeze to cool down or not in the breeze when it felt too cool. There was a big storm system moving through one afternoon to evening. With all the gorgeous windows, we watched it hours before it arrived and hours after it passed. The lightning put on quite the show. I can only imagine how incredible the Northern Lights must be. Our hosts made us feel welcome, reaching out before our stay and responding to our questions. It is clearly a home that is well-appointed and well taken care of. It has a gourmet kitchen. When I’m on vacation, I don’t like to cook because it doesn’t feel so much like I’m getting a break. However, the kitchen is so well done, it made cooking fun. The views while chopping veg didn’t hurt either! What a great experience! Hope to return soon!

Loved the house. We had way more space than we needed for the weekend and it was lovely. All the amenities listed were available and worked.

Nancy was a fantastic host! Her home was beautiful, spotless, and just right for two. The lakefront views were stunning, especially with the beach just steps from the back door. The kitchen and pantry were well-stocked and made cooking easy. Everything about the stay, inside and out, was perfect. I'll be recommending to family and friends.

We had a wonderful stay! I was traveling with my 5-year-old and 3-year-old, and this place couldn’t have been more perfect for a family getaway. The kids loved spending time by the lake, playing with the extra toys and games on the property, and especially making s’mores by the fire at night. It was the kind of stay where you truly make lasting memories together. A special shoutout to Daniela. She was fantastic. Super attentive, quick to respond, and incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. Her personal touch made the whole experience even better. This is our second stay at Benjamin and Molly’s House on the Hill and it has been amazing each time! The hosts are very proactive in their communication and quickly respond to any questions or updates. The house itself is wonderful for a large group, has beautiful gathering spaces, but also lots of cozy nooks to get some quiet time. We didn’t have kids at the house with us, but the house is well outfitted with lots of children’s equipment, books, and toys. Can’t wait to stay here again next year!
