Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Dripping Springs

We really enjoyed our stay here, my son had a blast with the pool and basketball court! The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

This is a truly lovely place, near enough to Wimberley but isolated enough that you feel away from it all. It's exactly what we were looking for and I expect we'll return!

My wife and I planned a last minute trip to Fredricksburg for the Memorial Day weekend. We were hoping to stay in Fredricksburg, but everything was booked. We found Terry's place in Johnson City which is about 45 minutes east of Fredricksburg. It is very private area out in the Ranchland Hill Country. First off, the place is immaculately clean! Second you know you found a really nice place when your wife starts taking pictures of everything because she loves the style and décor! The check in instructions were very clear and concise. The place was very welcoming and relaxing. Terry left a very detailed notebook with suggested places to go, things to do, and places to eat. In the morning and evenings we saw deer on the property. We also saw several cardinals and other beautiful bird species. If you are looking for a nice relaxing get away and don't want the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place for you!

We came to town for a friends wedding and stayed here for 2 nights. It was absolutely perfect! We felt at home from the moment we got there. The pool is FABULOUS and you can tell Kristen and Jeff truly take care of their home and property. The instruction book was very thorough and we knew exactly what was needed. We will absolutely be coming back to this home when we are in the area.

We had a great stay at Hunter and Andrea’s place. The beds were comfy, the house was clean and very well furnished with dishes, linens and bathroom products. There was a lot to do in the local area and they had suggestions for recreation and places to eat and drink. They were also probably the most responsive hosts we’ve ever had. We would absolutely book there again.

Julie’s place is a nice little retreat. We were only in town for a short weekend for a wedding, but it suited our needs. I liked the front sun room. I wanted to spend a little more time on the back porch but there were some paper wasps out there. I have them at home, they’re not aggressive but they look scarier than they are. It was very clean and had a lot of kitchen cooking supplies and linens. The master bathroom is really nice with the super deep soak tub. There was a resident deer and butterflies constantly around, but definitely herd the warning of the posting about animals and stuff around the area. We didn’t see any snakes or anything but the grounds would hide them well. We ran into a couple scorpions and yeeted them further into the brush. If we’d stayed a little longer I eventually would’ve put on pants and boots to explore the grounds a little more.

We loved our stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. James was a responsive and helpful host. We experienced a minor kitchen drain issue, but with it being a holiday weekend, he stayed in touch and we found an easy workaround—it didn’t impact our plans at all. We spent a relaxing weekend lounging by the pool and enjoying the beautiful space. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely stay again!

BEAUTIFUL location and home!!! Extremely picturesque, feels secluded and private, the bathroom is gorgeous, all the amenities are perfect and George and Kim were amazing hosts, went above and beyond to make sure we were extremely comfortable and had a great vacation.

Wow! We loved our stay here so much! Josh and Amiee were so nice, responsive and helpful! They gave great instructions on getting here and also on all check in/check out procedures. Any questions we had, they replied almost immediately. We really needed a restful getaway and this was the perfect place. We loved the pool so much and enjoyed watching all the birds especially. The place was impeccably clean and welcoming! We slept great in the adjustable bed. We had 2 smart TVs to use and the biggest selection of DVD’s we’ve ever seen. The kitchen had everything you could think of and it was so helpful to have a washer/dryer to use. Did I mention the pool? AMAZING! We plan to come back again soon! Karen’s carriage house was perfect for our brief stay in Georgetown. It was immaculately clean, and all instructions were easy to follow. It had everything that we needed and had everything needed for someone who was staying longer. We highly recommend Karen’s place and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Had a great time here, the area was peaceful and the on-site parking was specially useful as a car is a must in Austin. Tobin is responsive and was able to fix any issues quickly, as well as giving useful recommendations.

What a wonderful host and place to stay. This house is located right at the heart of downtown Buda and is a short walk to all the fun stuff to do around town. Not only that, the hosts are amazing and go above and beyond your typical host. For example, I lost an AirTag during my stay and within an hour of me leaving, they already had the AirTag in the mail. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Buda!

We had such a wonderful time! the condo was clean and smelled great. Bed and pillows were comfy. The balcony had a great view of the deer and courtyard. Zach was very responsive and gave great directions on parking and how to locate the condo. We will definitely return!

I really loved our stay. It was perfect for our my husband and I, toddler and 2 dogs. They had a pack and play, which we didn’t expect, and the location is pet friendly. There was a dog patch area a few steps away from our room. The main bedroom mattress is a bit uncomfortable, but it was okay for a short stay. The place was very clean, and stocked with the basics.

Mercedes place is cute, comfortable and in a great location! Would definitely stay here again.

Great hosts and place!

Our family of four absolutely loved our stay! The location is private and peaceful, and while it’s a bit far from Austin and all there is to do downtown, it was the perfect escape for our Spring Break weekend. The condo was cozy, with plenty of games and activities. We enjoyed our time on the patio, played pickleball, spent a lot of time in the hot tub and pool (or reading by the pool at sunset with the most incredible view), and my animal whisperer son got to feed and interact with the deer on site- a real highlight for him! Thank you, Cheri for a wonderful stay! We hope to be back one day!

The Villa and the facility were very nice and comfortable. The choice of nearby restaurants and markets is sparse to say the least. The onsite Island Grill is only open from Thursday afternoon -Sunday afternoon. Also, if you're hoping for a nearby upscale eatery, don't bother, it's not there. That said, we had a lovely time. Boat rentals are close. Drive slowly near the facility surroundings. Deer are everywhere in the afternoons and evening.

We enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb. It was perfect for our little family. Easy access to Zilker, South Lamar and South Congress area. The bed was my favorite. I slept so well on that particular mattress. The place was easy to find and check-in was a breeze! Highly recommend this place to all travelers!
