The outdoor lifestyle is what this place is all about. The beautiful deck, pool, and hot tub are over the top and the views are simply gorgeous. The property features a wet weather creek and reservoir that attracts turkeys, ducks, wild boar, and deer. Take a hike, a dip, then head to the brewery for some R&R... your perfect day awaits. All four bedrooms have 50" HDTV's and there is a 70" monster screen in the living room so if you want to stay inside and watch the game (DirectTV/NFL Sunday Ticket!) or get caught up on work (satellite internet), you're covered. In addition to having all the major pay-for movie channels like HBO and Showtime, we also have a great DVD library for the film buffs out there. Hanging out by the fire pit is a great way to cap off a day and don't forget to break out the s'mores. The house is outfitted with high end appliances across the board and even seasoned chefs will find themselves well equipped in our kitchen or at the helm of our state of the art grill. The home is filled with lots of interesting original artwork and the grounds surrounding are serene and picturesque. Located less than 30 minutes to downtown Austin, you get the best of both worlds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home in Wimberly. The house was easy to find-using the instructions listed in the check-in instructions. It was extremely clean and smelled fresh without being overpowering. The master bedroom linens were exceptional quality and made us feel at home, while our teenagers slept comfortably in the upstairs loft. Most things in the home were labeled and many had QR codes to access videos to explain functionality. We are already thinking about planning a trip back to this property.

The cottage was the perfect little getaway for my son's birthday! He wanted creature adventures and that's surely what he got! From grasshoppers and crickets to multiple deer sightings on the property with the perfect front windows and porch to view them! The stars were beautiful out here and s'mores by the campfire were perfect! Wimberley was just a short drive away with cute shops and restaurants! Perfect birthday weekend!

Excellent hosts! Shawn and Shira were super responsive and very helpful. Their home is absolutely beautiful! While it is attached to their home as described, the space was very private and quiet. The full kitchen was perfect, as I have to cook all my meals due to dietary restrictions. I had everything I needed plus some! Having a laundry room was clutch as well. Everything about this space was so well thought out and designed and very clean. The little touches added to this space were above and beyond expectations. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay or a better pair of hosts. Would 100% recommend this spot and absolutely stay here again!

Upscale Modern Hill Country Home! Has it ALL!

This place was amazing! Me and my family stayed here for my wedding weekend and it was a great space. I felt like I was living in luxury, beautiful and there was enough room for everyone! The kids loved the pool and could play outside all day even though it was Texas hot summer. The adults could each have their space and the kitchen was big enough for everyone to do wedding prep in as well as cook.This was a great house! It is remote, but if you’re looking for houses in the area, that’s what you’re going to be getting. It is a little close to the road, but there’s a lovely fence and a long driveway where you don’t feel like it is. I felt very comfortable here and the early and late check-in was very helpful for me being able to see more family as well as after my wedding not having to rush home. Everyone who stayed here always came in the house with saying how much of a great place this was. Thanks for making my wedding weekend much easier and lovely.
