Beach house holiday rentals in Downtown, Long Beach

We loved our stay here. The house is so close to the beach and to lots of shopping in Newport Beach. Our family was very happy with the space. We liked the large kitchen. We especially appreciated that there were beach supplies available. It made a big difference to us because we drove there and didn't have room in the car for all the beach chairs and an umbrella. We would definitely stay here again.

The place was a very lovely place to stay, a short walking distance to the beach, had a very lovely view of the beach from the house. Me my kids and my boyfriend felt at home for our stay there. Definitely will be back if we come back to Los Angeles.

The house was really easy to find. It was spotless and very comfortable. We loved the beach with the waves right next to it. We also loved the lagoon right down the street. Kyle was very responsive when I had questions which makes the experience even better. We will definitely be back.

Perfect location right on the beach next to lifeguard tower 61. Comes with beach toys, chairs, towels, umbrella, bikes , boogie board, so you don’t have to bring anything. Outdoor shower perfect for rinsing. Patio perfect for lounging. We had a great time. Parking is easy as long as you come early or come late. We came at 7pm on Saturday and there was plenty of parking as is true every morning. Less parking available in mid afternoon but no problem, we parked in the lot and moved the car later.

The cottage was so cute and spacious for us. We are literally 2 min away from the sand. Beds were comfortable. The only thing that stood out were how thin the blinds were in the upstairs bedroom. At night. You can see the outside lights and see the lights on every car that passes by as well. On our first night the neighbors to the left of us were loud. And on our last night the neighbors that arrived to the right of were super loud . We had to close our front door at some point. Other than that. We enjoyed the space.

we had a wonderful stay. the house was amazing. really comfortable and spacious. location was great too. easy to get in and out of LA and we did day trips to San Diego, Anahiem and Joshua Tree National Park

My husband and I brought our four kids here for family vacation and core memories were made! The hosts are exceptional hosts and anything you could think of possibly needing - they provided. The location is the best part and we didn’t use our car all week due to the fact that all our favorite places were walkable.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb for a family wedding! The home was perfect for our large group—spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location couldn’t have been better: we were able to easily walk to a nearby family house and to the beach, which made everything so convenient during a busy weekend. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and just as described. Highly recommend this place for families or groups looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the area!

We had a great stay! The house is very spacious and had all the basics we needed. I loved having enough room and closet space to totally unpack my clothes! It was wonderful to be walking distance to the beach as well as shops and restaurants, and just a short drive away from Downtown. I appreciated that there were also kid-friendly touches like plastic cups and plates, and our seven year old daughter loved the pool.

Had a wonderful stay at DJ and Brandee’s home last weekend while my mom and I were in town for the Surf City Half Marathon! The house is gorgeous and comfortable with fantastic amenities - everything was as described. It’s a short walk to downtown and was perfect location for us to get to the starting line. The pool and their big comfy couch were perfect for our post-race recovery. The kitchen is awesome; I loved cooking in it. DJ and Brandee were fantastic hosts — always responsive and kind. Really appreciated their hospitality and highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. Thank you!!!

We stayed here for our spring break with my 6 kids. Ages 23-5. We are not partiers just a family get away to relax and cook together. We booked this place based on the pool and it was worth it for us. The previous reviews were alarming about quiet hrs and it being strict but we had no problem and stayed in the pool till 945 at night. I did tell me younger 3 kids to be quiet at night to be respectful and they were for the most part but definitely got loud with their voice a few times. Great house no complaints beds were very comfy!

This Seal Beach house was a fantastic spot for my family’s vacation. We loved the vibe of the house and our kids loved the pool. The outdoor furniture was great, we spent most of our time outside enjoying the perfect weather. Everything in Seal Beach is walkable. Park the car and enjoy. Sue, the host was very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend this house.

the listing is accurate in all ways, and the place was spotlessly clean, had all manner of amenities and was well stocked for an easy stay. Use of the garage made going and coming a breeze. We paid extra for pool and spa heating, and had a great time using those. thank you, Denise!

We had the perfect little Long Beach getaway in this cute cottage. The place was clean, uncluttered, and tastefully decorated. This is perfect for a couple or maybe a couple and a child. It would probably be too tight for 3 adults. The bathroom with a large shower area was a surprise. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of towels. They even had beach chairs, which we used for both the beach and a free play a nearby park. Walking distance to coffee, shops, and a wide variety of restaurants as well as the beach. Although near a popular shopping street and located on a thoroughfare, this place is quiet and in a Peaceful and pretty neighborhood. The hosts were communicative and friendly. We look forward to staying again when visiting our son in Long Beach.

We’re so happy we booked this amazing place—it gave us an experience we’ll always remember. My family and I created memories that will last a lifetime. The home was cozy, modern, spotless, and had everything we could’ve hoped for. The location was perfect—close to everything, yet quiet and peaceful. In Long Beach, it’s rare to find a place with private parking and a secure gate that offers both convenience and privacy. Jesse was a phenomenal host, always responsive and thoughtful. Overall, this was a 10 out of 10 stay. We can’t wait to return for our annual Long Beach trip. If you’re thinking about staying here, don’t even hesitate—just book it!

Kevin & Lynda’s Airbnb was wonderful. Everything was close by, they had plenty of amenities and recommendations of restaurants to eat. In the 3 years I’ve been traveling - this has been a fantastic Airbnb with all sorts of amenities and great contact between the cohost (Lisa) and I. My daughter and I stayed at Rebecca’s place when my daughter was in a ballet intensive. The place is absolutely charming, cute and clean! Easy walk to the beach as well as to second Street and all the fun shops and restaurants. It felt like home and we were very comfortable. We already hope to come back!

We sure enjoyed our stay. Very clean and lots of places to relax and enjoy, both inside and outside. Beautiful home. Great location. We loved everything!! We walked everywhere. The house is pristine and the hosts are great. Would stay here again for sure.

The place was exactly as described and pictured. We felt very comfortable in the home and enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood has a great coffee house just a couple blocks from the house as well as various restaurants and stores. This is a great location. I enjoyed having coffee in the backyard which has beautiful plants and feels peaceful and private. It is easy to relax with a variety of spaces to sit and the water feature is a nice touch.

My friends and I went to the 2025 LA Wine Fest down at Harry Bridges Memorial Park next to the Queen Mary and I had booked the 5 of us a one night stay at Chanda Cove and it was exactly what we needed! A nice quaint and charming little Airbnb that fit all of us perfectly!! It was so close to The Pike and the Aquarium that we actually could have just walked there to save us the time sitting in traffic but nonetheless, our stay at Chanda Cove was perfect - enough space for 6 people to sleep comfortably, a cute and small kitchen, a washer and dryer, and a cute little patio! We even got a chance to chat and hang out with one of the cohosts who made our stay literally feel like we were at home talking with our neighbors. The location of the Airbnb itself might throw some people off, but having lived in Long Beach prior, we all felt right at home. We will definitely be staying here at Chanda Cove for our next adventure out here in Long Beach! Cheers and thank you so much again :)
