Family-friendly holiday rentals in Downtown, Boulder

Two words - dream home! Tassi & Larry were very responsive and made us feel right at home. I was in awe in every single moment of my stay. The place offers great views, a cozy environment, and the hosts are very friendly. 10/10 will be coming back to Idledale to catch a beautiful sunrise and sunset! To be honest, I did not feel like leaving, but that just goes to show that it is a wonderful place for your getaways! Tassi & Larry, I can't thank you enough for letting us stay at your wonderful home.

Joel was great! He sent a list of recommendations before we arrived. I wish we had more time to explore, but the backyard was perfect for us to hang out at. Very easy instructions for check in and check out. I’d definitely stay here again!

Our stay was great. The place was perfect for my boyfriend and I. The bed was really comfy and cozy. I really appreciated the small details, like things we might need around the studio. For example toiletries, small snacks, maps, etc. There isn't a "kitchen" but the fridge, microwave, and water kettle were perfect for what we needed. We didn't get a chance to check out the hot tub, because we were too busy exploring the surrounding areas. The location was perfect for day trips to surrounding open spaces, Estes Park, Rocky Mountain Nat. Park, Boulder, and Idaho Springs. We even saw a Moose and her baby on our way home from dinner only about 10 mins from town. Nederland is a cute little town with shops and restaurants. Our hosts were so friendly, and made great recommendations. We also thoroughly enjoyed meeting their lovable dog, Amen. We loved saying hello to the chcickens and ducks on our way in and out of the studio.Definitely recommend this studio to anyone traveling to the area.

Do not pass up this hidden gem! If you want peace and quiet, beautiful surroundings, and love fishing and water activities, book it now! Our hosts were amazing and the lakehouse was everything we wanted for our staycation. Every day (our stay was the end of May) we saw moose, blue heron, deer, humminbirds and a variety of other wild birds. The hot tub was perfect and the house has everything you need to cook your own meals, grill and just relax. We will most definitely be back!

Gorgeous cabin in a peaceful, beautiful area. We saw wildlife right from our bedroom window and enjoyed the peace and quiet in the hot tub. The apartment was cozy and had everything we needed. The local recommendations really helped. 30 mins from downtown Golden, 20 mins to Nederland, and 35 mins to Red Rocks.

This was such a great place to stay! We loved the peacefulness and the beautiful scenery! The many car rides to and from different towns were unbearable - absolutely breathtaking views!

My family & I met here for Christmas. The home was so peaceful & quiet, although it was a bit hard to find the first time in the dark. It was worth it! The kids loved the hot tub, & the area had lots of fun things to explore! Thanks, Robert for your part in our great Christmas!

A stunning mountain retreat on the top of a hill, with breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. The home is extra clean, spacious, and feels brand new. The host was incredibly helpful, guiding us throughout our stay and promptly answering all our questions. The experience of being on top of the mountains was truly amazing, with elk roaming freely in the area. Located just 20 minutes from Boulder via a shortcut—be sure to ask the host about it. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

I was in town to visit a long time friend who happened to live within walking distance. Diane & John’s place was perfect for my visit. Everything was very clean and tidy. The space was well appointed and organized. The bed was comfortable and the entire space relaxing. I also appreciated the fact that I was not expected to do a lot of cleanup.

We had a great stay at Tim's place! We spend a lot of time between Golden Gate Canyon State park and Nederland/Rollinsville, and his place is perfectly situated in between all those! Loved the space, beds and couch were comfy as well. Tim was responsive if I had a question. Would love to stay again when we are out here again fall of next year!!

I absolutely loved my stay! It was a great place to unwind and relax!

Overall, this was a 5+ stay. From the very beginning, James was responsive and timely. We arrived to find the house spotless, well lit, music playing, and exactly as described/pictured…. Maybe even better. The kitchen was well equipped, linens were spotless and ample, and the neighborhood was quiet. 25 is just behind, so there was some road noise at times, but it was minor and really only noticed it 1 night. The house is beautiful and perfect for a group of family and/or friends. We would love to stay there again.

Amy’s place was just as described, so close to the Flatirons and a really beautiful neighborhood!

Michelle was an extremely gracious and responsive host! We will definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself. The view exceeds expectations.

We stayed without dogs and had a great time in the area. Very walkable neighborhood, safe area and clean space to stay in. Mark was always responsive with questions and proactive about checkin. Check out was seamless too. Highly recommend a stay here, especially if you have dogs.

We had a fantastic time staying at glorious cabin. My wife and I and both of our dogs stayed there for nearly two weeks. Both her and her husband were always very responsive to my messages when I asked for something, and we felt like we were part of their family. Their location is very peaceful and I found it very easy to get my work done as a remote worker. The internet was strong , which allowed me to take my meetings and get my work done. I felt safe and I felt my belongings were secure. We took full advantage of the outside kitchen.That's where we made nearly all of our meals. They have 2 dogs that were very friendly to us.And they were a joy to see every morning. Every morning the ducks would walk the property and that was fun to watch. Beautiful views. It was close to a farm stand as well which we drove too nearly every day to get some snacks. It was also less than 15 minutes from grocery stores and other things that I needed.

We LOVED the home and how convenient it was to the slopes. We are a family of 5 and would definitely stay here again. It was clean, beautiful and cozy! The views and yard are amazing... we built two snowmen in the backyard and my kids played in the snow for hours, right in the backyard. What a gem!

Shanti and Eric's home felt like a real home that reflects the vibe of the city of Boulder and the artsy interests of the owners. Location walkable to CU Boulder was our reason for selecting this home and 3 bedrooms with 2 full baths to accommodate 5 adults. We enjoyed "Green Gate's" warm comforts like a gas fireplace in the main room, enough seating for a group on the comfy sectional, heated towel rack and a multi featured bidet in the master. The screened porch looked inviting for warmer lazy mornings. The setting is peaceful backing to a park and the greenway while connected well with public transportation. Eric and Shanti leave a detailed manual with everything we needed to know and helpful suggestions as well. While it is a pricey stay, Green Gate is a good value in the area for location and amenities. And was a better value than anything else I could find for these features. Stay here if you have the opportunity!

Twin Owls was an awesome place to stay! We absolutely loved it! It was in a peaceful location while still being close to downtown Estes Park. Highly recommend!!

we did a girls trip and stayed 4 days. this was the most peaceful location. Meg and her family are amazing and super friendly. the animals on-site are the sweetest babies to have as a bonus. the location is great as you are 20 min drive to Denver. I loved the view and the total experience. I will definitely be staying again

Great location! Stayed here with 2 couples (total). The place had everything you'd need to cook all your meals (which we did) and 2 bathrooms! Location was perfecttt-- close to so much hiking and restaurants and breweries and a short 30-40 min drive to Denver if you're interested. Would definitely recommend-- plus the vibes/decor were 100!

We stayed with our 1.5 and 3 year old boys, had a very late night check-in but getting in with the instructions and putting everyone to bed was so easy and seamless. The big sectional was great for family snuggles, and the location was central to amenities and places to take kids. We hope to book again the next time we’re in the Denver area!

Our stay was great for our needs and short time in the Denver area. I would highly recommend Dean’s place if you are looking for a clean, safe, comfortable and affordable place to call home for a quick stay or a few nights. I have zero complaints. I especially appreciate the reasonable cost and convenience. No cleaning fee was a bonus! I think if I had my own Airbnb similar to Dean’s, I would also be willing to offer a great space for a realistic cost with realistic expectations. Thanks, Dean & family. If I am back in the Denver area again, I will gladly look you up 🙂
