Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Dordogne

Caroline and Gilles are very warm and friendly hosts who were immediately available for questions. The listing is as described in the photos. It is a truly exceptional, very large apartment. The living room (formerly the station hall) resembles a museum, Caroline and Gilles have collected old station utensils and pictures and exhibited them there. The house and garden are lovingly restored and designed, the two have invested a lot of work (and money) to turn the old train station into a wonderful accommodation. There is nothing missing in the kitchen. The center of Le Bugue is about 1 km away, via the beautiful bike path "voie verte" it is 4 km. We enjoyed the bike tours and our accommodation very much. I also enjoyed the personal contact and a little "chat" in the evening, so I could once again use my "rusty" French skills. Thank you for everything!

Our stay at Florence's was perfect. The accommodation is large, the bedding comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped. Everything was perfectly clean, the pool was very well maintained and always clean, as well as the jacuzzi. With the heatwave during our stay, we greatly appreciated the pool and the accommodation keeps the coolness very well! The surrounding garden is very pleasant for resting, having an aperitif... Lots of tourist sites to visit around. Florence gave us plenty of tips on the surroundings (restaurants, markets...) Very friendly welcome, very nice and warm host. We recommend it!

Great centrally located Périgueux apartment exactly as described. We used the apartment as long term base and were extremely happy to be in heart of enchanting historic district. Well equipped kitchen, with newly installed boiler. Comfortable bedrooms and great internet and TV. Very cool in summer heat. Highly recommend the nearby Le Troquet restaurant and Boukie’s Anglophone bookshop on Rue Taíllefer has English-French conversation group on Fridays at 17.30. Our host Florence and her son Charles were always extremely kind and helpful - we are very grateful to them. Will always have special memories of our stay here and Périgueux is a great base to explore the beautiful Dordogne.

The apartment is extremely well-situated within the old city of Sarlat. You can walk everywhere easily, and the private/free parking spot is an amazing perk. Vincent is a great host and super responsive. Highly recommend!

The apartment and the house are very lovingly renovated and carefully modernized, so that medieval charm and high comfort combine. The garden is large and beautiful, the location perfect. Françoise was very friendly and helpful on arrival (she also speaks very good German) and check-out was straightforward. All in all a great experience, we would have liked to have stayed a long time and enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of the place!

Very good stay, the garden is beautiful and peaceful, the village is very cute 20 minutes from the Dordogne Valley. Jean Marie and Nicole are charming and hosted us very well.

Francine and her husband were very pleasant hosts. Their accommodation is comfortable and offers everything you need. The environment is very quiet and there are many activities to do in the surroundings.

A fantastic week away in a beautiful property within stunning surroundings. Had a very relaxing break and loved the pool, hot tub and sauna. Our young adult son made the most of the gym and we enjoyed a couple of hikes and bike rides in the idyllic countryside. The house is truly wonderful and Paul is a fabulous host who is very responsive. Look forward to returning some time soon.

Our stay went really well. The house is very nice and clean. The location is perfect if you're looking for peace and quiet. Ideal with dogs (walking path that starts from the house). I recommend it without hesitating!

The accommodation is ideally located a few kilometers from the most beautiful villages of Dordogne. Fabienne is very welcoming and available. We recommend!

Just returned home from a fantsdtic 2wk stay at Julie and Juliens holiday home what can i say apart from we absolutely loved it and already looking to go back next year! For us a family of 7 there was ample space never felt overcrowded the only thing that i would suggest is the settee in the living room could be more appropriate for larger number families but we coped the surroundings garden/pool was outstanding and was very welcomig in the hest the younger family members loved it! You will not be disappointed booking this home for your holiday it was absolute bliss❤️

Very pleasant stay that was what we were looking for. Quiet but close to the highways to discover the region. Pleasant and discreet host. House with all the comforts and amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Terrace just for us overlooking the garden in the back of the house. the house stays cool despite the hot summer. i recommend it!
