Very pleasant stay in this small cottage, very well furnished, with everything, including food! Very discreet hosts but very attentive to well-being. Peaceful and serene setting that we will be happy to return to on a future trip!

A wonderful place to stay, surrounded by nature and animals. Very clean and welcoming, and Dominique went over and above to allow us to check in early. Would highly recommend.

A haven of peace in a beautiful green environment, quiet, with a magnificent view and the company of animals (Jack the llama, the donkeys Lulu, Stella and Bella and two cats). What more could you ask for! I thank Corinne for her warm welcome, kindness, availability and discretion during the stay. The pool is perfect for swimming or relaxing. Lots of beautiful sites to visit in the area. I'm already planning to go back! Thanks again Corinne!

What a fantastic time we had at Olivier's house. The house is beautiful with a view of the vineyards. The view is better than in the photos. The pool is wonderful. The house was super clean and equipped with every comfort. The surrounding area has many beautiful villages. We will definitely come back!! Oh and recommended is also the wine tasting at Olivier's house.

Very beautiful cottage, which is in the heart of nature. The environment is very quiet. The cottage has a lot of children's amenities which is very nice. Our host is very responsive to messages.

Large property, quiet, clean, with a beautiful outdoor pool. The house is spacious enough for 8 people. Big plus: the house is very well equipped (coffee, sugar, breakfast, tea towel, toilet paper...). For a short stay like ours, it was a nice surprise to find all these amenities on site. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Clos Castaing. Kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing on the Dordogne. Cycling and visiting local vineyards and St Emilion. The house is full of character, spacious and a perfect, tranquil base.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Cinq Ruffe. Caroline and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was lovely and met all our needs. The location was very rural and quiet; exactly what we had hoped for. The welcome included a lovely platter of local produce and delicious wine. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We would not hesitate to highly recommend this property.

We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

Patricia is a very welcoming host who passionately introduced us to her garden and animals. She shares her know-how through very informative workshops (plants, donkeys, etc.) The tiny house is very nice when you want to recharge your batteries as a family in an eco-lodge close to nature. The pool available is a real plus to cool off and have fun with the kids. The summer kitchen also allows you to cook outside the accommodation and thus expand the living space. We highly recommend this listing!!

We had a great stay with friends in Sylvain's cottage. Our host was very welcoming and we had a very nice time with him. The environment of the cottage is very quiet. The pool was much appreciated. We were able to enjoy every meal on the terrace. The cottage is more than well-equipped. However, it is not recommended for people with mobility problems due to steps in the main room. Our stay was a bit lacking. We will be happy to return to continue our visits to the beautiful surroundings.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is beautiful, really well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches. You're surrounded by animals, from chickens to cows and the view into the valley is stunning. Beki and Andy couldn't have been better hosts, we loved the folder with plenty of tips for the area.

Beautiful house, clean and pleasant. 9 km from Sarlat. Very well located for visiting the best sites and villages. A very large enclosed garden for our 4-legged friends or safety for our children, not to mention the small swing. Not to mention the very kind welcome and the delicate attention for our arrival. And very important, good bedding. Don't hesitate.

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

This is one of the best AirBnBs we have ever stayed in. The views from the terrace are absolutely amazing, and the garden/ pool area is perfect for children of all ages. There are lots of lovely vineyards, markets and villages to visit within a 30 minute drive. Lovely cycling, walking and running right on the door step. The house itself is better than photographed, it is very spacious, clean and tidy with a well equipped kitchen for cooking for large groups. Hosts were responsive throughout to any questions.

A brilliant and beautiful Gite with the best hosts. Can't wait to come back. Hosts are so good that they went above and beyond the call of duty and even managed to organise someone to come and collect my car and get two new tyres fitted and receiver to the Gite. he even left his car for the two hours in case we needed one. Great hosts beautiful Gite. My advice is simple-book now !

We had a very nice stay with Sofie and Irm. After a long drive, we arrived very late in the evening, in the dark. Nevertheless, we were received with great kindness by Sofie and we immediately saw: this is a wonderful place. The gite is equipped with all comforts, is super clean and very nicely decorated. The grounds are very large, beautiful and definitely worth exploring. Monpazier is within walking distance of many good restaurants. Sofie and Irm are very sweet hosts. They are always up for a chat, give valuable tips, and gave us fresh eggs every few days. You can really see that they enjoy receiving guests and making them feel at home. A gorgeous old stone house with chic updates. We only used 3 bedrooms and they were all comfortable with modern baths. Many places to gather, especially outside. The living room was lovely and welcoming. The farnhouse kitchen was very well supplied. The pool house was to die for and we had cocktails and even dinner there one evening. The views! Gorgeous, with castles and hot air balloons. The hosts live on site and were delightful when we ran across them but very discreet. It definitely felt like “our” property. Nothing negative to say, and we were blessed with fabulous weather! It’s in the heart of the must see towns along the Dordogne, with many restaurants and sights within 5-10 minutes. I rented this home to enjoy some family and friend time away from otherwise hectic French travel. This was perfect! It felt like staying in the home of a dear friend or family member. And, the host recommended a private chef who provided cooking lessons and a birthday luncheon! Unforgettable!! Unlike any other Airbnb property for its charming hosts, the beautiful character of the property and the amenities we enjoyed. Lots of nearby wineries, Bergerac had great charm and food, boat ride on the Dordogne, and more. No one wanted to leave! We hope to return!! Merci beaucoup, Karen & Charlie!!
