House holiday rentals in Dogtown

We came for a graduation for our daughter. She and her husband and four kids stayed with us. Deborah went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! There were graduation decorations and even bubbles for the kids to help Mom celebrate! She left little surprises all over the house for our grandkids and they were so entertained by such a well stocked home! The pool was way nicer than expected and we had so much fun in it!! You can tell Deborah takes pride in this home and in providing a memorable experience! This was actually a last minute booking because our original place was canceled and I feel it was meant to be. This was a better weekend because of where we stayed!

Absolutely perfect stay! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. The host, Marie, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, providing helpful recommendations. Marie made Christmas truly special for our family. The communication was seamless, and check-in/out was a breeze. The location was ideal – peaceful yet close to everything we wanted to explore. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

The house was amazing and clean. The pool area was peaceful after a long day of work. It was conveniently located to where we were working and were able to walk back and forth. The host was responsive to any questions and requests. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

This place was just what we needed for a quick trip back "home." Location was great. Nice and quiet and private. Easy access to highways, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Matt was very responsive to any and all questions. How was very clean and had everything we needed. Basement games were fun for kids as well:) We're actually coming back next month and staying at one of his other properties. We're sure we won't be disappointed!:)

Great location, all the amenities you could ask for, loved the bath tub and hot tub! Super clean and comfy! Our family loved it! It was the perfect get away after a busy day in the city!

We vacationed in many condos and homes. Mostly off an alternative site. This place was in the tops. Great neighborhood the Hills. Fantastic restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. Would stay here again if ever in the area again.

To say this place is unique is an understatement but the place was awesome. Every square foot was accounted for in something new and neat to find. Location is great, as it’s about a 15 minute drive from any place you’d want to go, but also there’s enough to do on the grounds you don’t really have to leave if you so choose. When we visit St Louis again we will look here first!

Great home for a small family - has everything you would need for a short stay.

John went above and beyond for us! The house is awesome and has a great outdoor space in a nice and very quiet neighborhood! Stunning plants and decor! The kitchen is perfectly equipped and a great chef’s kitchen!

Me and my friends booked this space for a concert that was in town. We are from out of town and wanted to enjoy St Louis. We wanted something different, something out of the box. This space was just that and soooooo much more. With a rare blend of unique, comfort, and quirky. It set the bar really high for the rest of the vacation. We are the type to stay on the go and not be in our room when on vacation. This place challenged that as it was so hard to leave sometimes. Host is just as amazing. Im not the best with modern tech and stuff of that nature. The host went out of their way to help. The host was accommodating in more ways than one. They provided some really solid recommendations for the city upon our request. Thats another thing, the host is probably one of the nicest, most responsive, helpful host Ive ever had. "The Dawg House" as we called it is now a staple in our travel plans to St. Louis. Do yourself a favor and book this place now before you miss out.

Overall a great place for the price. Next to Tower Grove Park, which is an amazing park. Location is on a quiet block. Backyard is less spacious than expected as half the space was filled with vegetation. The couch is not that comfortable, but the bed was comfortable. The electronic code-based locks to both the front door and our room's door were hard to figure out even with the helpful YouTube video, but we eventually did. Darci was communicative and responsive overall.

Great size for a large family to stay at. We were visiting family in the area. The basement area was super nice and our only regret was that we couldn’t spent time at the house to enjoy the pool table, air hockey, and outdoor space. The neighborhood was quiet, we only heard the train a couple times, but there are no train stops near by so the whistle never went off.

A family friend was playing a “hometown show” at St. Louis Music Park so I booked a last minute trip from New York to St. Louis. The place was very clean and Thomas was very responsive during the stay. The only negative thing that I could possibly say is that this place is perfect for convenience but not for comfort. Both beds were hard as a rock and both of the chairs in the living room were at a strict 90° angle. I’m not sure that I would ever come back to St. Louis but overall it was a good stay.

This is the cleanest Air bnb we have stayed at. The two king size beds are very comfy. The bedrooms are roomy. The house is cutely decorated and the neighbors are quiet. We enjoyed walking our dogs in the neighborhood. Carondelet Park is a beautiful shady park close by maybe a five minute or so walk. There is a Snucks grocery store and a YMCA very close.

What a fantastic find! This home was even more spacious than the pictures suggested, and it was perfectly maintained and spotlessly clean. The charm of the decor made it feel so welcoming, truly a home away from home. The location was a huge bonus—having a grocery store and several excellent restaurants within a short distance made my stay effortless. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and will definitely plan to stay again on my next visit to the area.

Perfect place to stay in STL. It was centrally located in a good neighborhood. The host was awesome and communicated very well with us. The home was extremely clean and very nice. I would go back.

Holly's place was pure magic! It is everything you could ask for in an Airbnb stay...and host. The house was extremely clean, well stocked, and had all the amenities listed. It was spacious enough for a family but still felt cozy enough for this solo traveler. The neighborhood felt very safe, even late at night when arriving back to the Airbnb after work. I enjoyed being a short distance from some great Italian bakeries, restaurants, and stores; but also centrally located near all major interstates ( and attractions). Holly was a great host and never hesitated to make sure that I was comfortable and that everything met my expectations. I highly recommend Holly's place without reservation. Thanks so much for a fantastic stay!

Beautiful remodeled older home. Garage for your car, beautiful remodeled basement with full bath, giving you 2 full bathrooms! A pagoda in the backyard and a front porch. Many people walking dogs and very friendly! We are so grateful for the basement and garage! The tornado went just north of this neighborhood. Our hearts go out to all affected by this storm.

House was clean and nicely furnished. Beds were very comfortable. Nice backyard. we enjoyed our stay, and loved how close this was to Forest Park. Nice quiet street.

WE WILL RETURN! Nick's beautiful home is nestled right in the center of Dog Town (the STL area's name). We almost requested to extend an additional one to three days, but had to return home to NC for personal purposes. The neighborhood is very quiet with great and friendly neighbors, the surroundings are excellently maintained, and there is so much to do around the local area (ice cream, delicious eateries, pubs, etc.). The hosts are very prompt and proactive when answering questions. We were sad "to leave this piece of heaven" in St. Louis. A MUST RENT!!! Ismael & Wendy Diaz Hope Mills, NC

Great location in Dogtown, walkable to several restaurants and coffee shops and short drive to many more. Clean, modern decor, very homey. Could comfortably house 2-3 couples or 2 couples with kids. Pet friendly which was great with a large fenced in yard, however important to note there is no access to the yard from the house, you still have to walk outside with your dog(s) to gain access to the fenced yard. Will definitely be considering this property or one of Alex’s other properties for our next visit to STL!

This was a great experience, starting with the reservation and continuing through checkout. The host, Elizabeth was prompt to respond to questions and checked in a couple of times to make sure everything was going well. I am grateful I was able to travel with our dog and though I had my own bags, l appreciated that there was a full dispenser to easily collect the pet waste. The yard is cute and I enjoyed having my coffee on the patio. The location is ideal to all the best tourist sites and was close to family. The kitchen was well appointed though we took the opportunity to sample cuisine from local restaurants and used the kitchen mostly to reheat food. I would definitely recommend Elizabeth and her home to others and hope to stay there again for future visits back to see family.

We loved staying at this cozy little house in STL - it was a safe area and super easy getting around. The house was cute, quiet and perfect for our weekend getaway. The beds were comfortable and THANK YOU for having a shower with excellent water pressure! That's hard to come by nowadays! Austin was very responsive and provided every amenity you could want (very thoughtful)! We will absolutely be staying here again when we come back up!
