House holiday rentals in Dixie County

We stayed here for the week of Thanksgiving and were more than happy with our accommodations. The house was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was amazingly stocked too! The only thing I needed that I couldn’t access was a measuring cup larger than 1 1/2 cups :) But we made that work no problem. The kitchen even had an electric mixer and crockpot! I was so relieved with how easy it was to cook for our family. I would rent this unit again over and over.

Our stay was excellent. The house was comfortable and fit our family perfectly. The location is absolutely wonderful and there is a lot to do at the resort to entertain the kiddos! The restaurants in the area are close by and have excellent food! We had a blast fishing and scalloping! We will definitely be back!

Real close to town and good place to bring your boat or hand out along the river or relax on the porch We will be back to stay again

We absolutely enjoyed our stay while working to restore power to Steinhatchee and Keaton Beach after Hurrican Helene. This would be a great place to come back on vacation and enjoy the town!

Everything was as described. Very clean and inviting. Extremely satisfied with how well it was stocked we could have showed up with nothing! We enjoyed our weekend and would stay here again!

Condo was amazing, felt right at home, everything was so clean, the Decor was so amazing, you could really tell there was a lot of thought put into it, private boat slip is always a big plus for us. Talked to Wayne a couple of times and they were very informative about everything. Highly Highly recommend them, Me and My wife fell in love with this place from the from the time we walked thru the door and the views are fabulous, we are already fixing to book our next trip down, A++++++++++++

This house was very beautiful and in a great location close to everything. Very clean and spacious, the kitchen had every thing we needed. The porch had a beautiful view of the river, we enjoyed watching the manatees and we also seen an alligator. With having kids it was nice having a private pool across the street. The boat ramp and dock were very close. The neighbors were very nice welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area.

The cottage was so beautiful and very accommodating, upgraded linens, fully stocked kitchen well maintained surroundings. We’ll be back again.

We loved the location being on the river with our own dock. Peaceful and quiet. Great place to watch boaters on the river. Close to restraurants. We would go back.

Kimberly made our Thanksgiving Day perfect everything we needed to cook a full course meal was there. The house exactly like the photos shown we wished we had booked it longer because it was so peaceful and the neighbors were so friendly we can’t wait to stay here again my family kept telling everyone back home how wonderful and nice the house was. We had a wonderful stay at this home. The house was very clean and comfortable. The interior had a fun, late 70s vibe but, the furniture wasn't old, it was impeccably clean and comfortable. Took me back to my childhood. We brought our boat and had no trouble getting it to the dock. The boat ramp is literally less than half a mile away. Mary Beth and Joe were very friendly and accommodating. They shared their recommendations on things to check out and places to go via boat. The dock and screened in boat house were perfect and inviting - a great place to watch the sunrise and sunset. The river was absolutely beautiful. We boated down to the Treasure Camp for breakfast - highly recommend. We docked, swam and explored at Manatee Springs State Park. The spacious and well-maintained backyard overlooking the river is shaded by a giant Oak tree. This property is so peaceful. The firepit was a nice finishing touch. Basically, an all-around perfect weekend.

The house is brand new and well-appointed. I appreciated the extra supplies that the house had- we overpack all the time in anticipation of the house having absolutely nothing so it was a pleasant surprise to have some stuff already in the house. The neighborhood is located across the bridge in Jena (not far at all but not in Steinhatchee proper) and is under construction (as of Summer of 2024)- I ended up picking up a screw in my tire but that's not the fault of the Airbnb place- just be vigilant. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and the layout of the house was great for our family of four.

The River House was a great getaway, very peaceful and right on the river. We took out the kayaks and had a great day on the river. The house was exacy as described. A great get away from the city.

Totally enjoyed our time at this location. The house was great, super nice location in town, fun places to go and very relaxing. Would happily return to another delightful getaway.

Been staying in Steinhatchee for years and this was by far the best place we ever stayed. Nicely decorated, clean, everything that you could need. We will for sure be coming back next year

We stayed at Dorothy's place during scallop season and it was perfect! The location was close to everything and we rode our bikes to the restaurants. Everything Dorothy's listing stated was accurate and she responded immediately to the few questions I had. I'll definitely be booking again next year!

Very well done refurbishing on the inside. So nice! We especially loved the huge Florida room with the wet bar/kitchen area! Comfortable seating, huge tv and just so peaceful. The neighbor was also friendly. We had a great time on a short trip on the inlet of the river using the canoe and kayak that were supplied. We also utilized the fire pit. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to go back again!

Awesome stay for scalloping! Tiffany was very responsive and helpful! Everything you needed was already at the house and extra bonus was the ice machine! Would love to stay next year
