Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Digby County

We had a wonderful stay at Robert’s cottage in Lubec. Robert is a great host, proactive and extremely responsive. The house is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The beds are very comfortable with nice linens and pillows. The deck and waterfront are lovely. We enjoyed cooking on the gas grill and loved sitting on the Adirondack chairs near the beach. Everything at the house is exactly as pictured and as described. This was our second stay and we will definitely be returning again.

We were very comfortable and able to quickly settle in and felt that this is a wonderful place to gather small groups of people...plenty of room for everyone! We were provided a list of restaurants so could check to see if they were open but were told that in the event that no one was open at the time we wanted to have a meal that there was a great local grocery store available with plenty of choices to prepare quick meals or get ready to go foods.

What a beautiful place to stay! Denise welcomed us, and took us on a tour of the house. Her house is equipped with everything you need, it was awesome. the home was clean and very comfortable. The nature cant be beat! The sky at night is of course incredible, as is the beach right across the road. Beautiful stones, a rockhound would have a ball. I cannot wait to go back!

We loved our stay in this neat old house! Lots of nooks and crannies to explore. Beautiful and nicely decorated. Wish I had planned to cook, the huge kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, cookware, seasonings, condiments. The sunroom is gorgeous! We enjoyed a few meals at the table, and mom and I watched Netflix in the evenings. The drive is difficult to enter from the east, but piece of cake from the west. The property is very pretty, and though only somewhat large, feels almost secluded because of its position on a hill. Location is good for day trips into Canada. The only negative was the upstairs shower was terribly small. We took turns in the downstairs shower. Also, a few extra towels would be nice. But, we were joyfully surprised to find the "secret" washer and dryer! (The listing says there is no washer or dryer.) The instructions were helpful, and we had no issues. We added our family rock to the rock garden, and we would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous property. Better than photos convey. Decor is very tasteful, bathroom large and beautiful shower. Everything was done thoughtfully and professionally. Hosts were very responsive and clear. We got some snow during our stay and they were on top of having everything shoveled. Stayed for Christmas while visiting family and couldn’t get over how cozy the place was. I felt like I was staying in the Nova Scotian version of Kate Winslet’s cottage from “the holiday”. Would be gorgeous in the summer too.

Lori's place is fantastic, especially if you have young kids. My 5 and 8 year old really enjoyed the kids toys (which came in very handy as it was a rainy trip!). I cant wait to return in the peak of summer sometime and enjoy the amenities at their best. Lori was responsive and very quick to answer any questions. I highly recommend her place!

The cottage was just as described - we felt immediately at home there. We were a group of 6 adults and 2 small children. The views from the house were amazing and we enjoyed the beach. Woodstove kept us toasty warm. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Host was very responsive and friendly :). Hot tub was enjoyed by the adults. BBQ and fire pit were appreciated.

What a peaceful place to stay in Lubec! This was the perfect place to stay for our cousins' reunion, and we think it may have been our favorite place to stay in the Downeast area! The views were beautiful, and the quiet area was perfect. The sound of lapping waves will put you right to sleep at night! Heather was a wonderful host, and very responsive to an issue we had with a bathroom sink. We visited Eastport and Campobello Island, a short drive for some spectacular scenery and history! We highly recommend this lovely cottage!

Threw my sisters bachelorette here and we had a ball!!!!! Jenn and Robert went over the top in providing everything we needed, and were so generous in making sure we had everything we needed to have FUN! They didn’t make us feel guilty about being loud while we danced and had a ton of fun upstairs!! Also such a cool, rustic, New York vibe to the place. We loved it :)

Great place to stay in Uptown Saint John and easy walk to restaurants and shops. The kitchen had pretty much all the pots, pans, plates, bowls and utensils to prepare meals. Coming and going was easy. Excellent shower with plenty of hot water. Comfortable bed. Didn't need foldout couch. Nice touches throughout the unit -- very well thought out.

The apartment was very roomy, clean and quiet. It’s very close to the waterfront and amazing restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay.

Charming older home in a beautiful neighbourhood. Lots of parking available in driveway.

We stayed at this Airbnb for 9 days while our house was being put on the market. Spacious, clean, bright workspace area, and stocked with most of the amenities you would need to feel at home. Close to a little park/trail nearby which we took our toddler to a few evenings.

Das Apartment liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend , das centrum ist in 20 min zu Fuß erreichbar, check in unkompliziert, das Apartment war sehr sauber , Cindy hat sehr schnell geantwortet und gute Tipps gegeben. Wir mussten leider Vorzeitig abreisen und die zweite Nacht stornieren . Cindy hat uns hierbei unterstützt und wir haben sogar einen Teilbetrag erstattet bekommen - super toll - vielen Dank Cindy
