Such a beautiful home, with an amazing view of the mountains! Perfect view of the Milky Way at night from the private balcony. The home was extremely clean and well decorated. The air conditioning was modern, functional and very welcoming after long days at the beach. The bed was soft and very comfortable. If you don’t mind narrow, winding roads up the mountain, it is the perfect place to stay! 40 minutes drive to Chania, and within 2 hours drive of most major, popular beaches. Nikos was very kind, responsive, and welcoming. Thanks to his hospitality, my stay in Crete was an outstanding experience!

Flawless accommodation, beautiful little house tastefully renovated. The jacuzzi is very nice especially at this time of year when the temperature drops quickly after dark! We thank the hosts for their special touches. Ideal for staying a few days with family! Only small negative point, the main road of the village is a little busy in front of the accommodation (do not hesitate to close the gate with children!) However, once inside it is very well soundproofed.

We had a wonderful time in the house and felt totally comfortable from the beginning. The surroundings and the views are simply fantastic. The pool is indescribable. It's really a great place to relax and unwind. At first, we only wanted to stay for a week, but then even extended the stay. Thanks to the great host, that wasn't an issue. Thank you for this wonderful holiday experience. I'm sure we'll be back ;-).

The villa is beautifully located in a dead end on the mountain of the small village of Armenoi. Everything is well maintained, clean and atmospheric. All sanitary functions are very great in shape, the kitchen is great incl. Dishwasher equipped and the sleeping areas maintained. The grill worked impeccably and coal and lighter were ready. The communication with Elina has been great, very helpful and attentive. A car is indispensable if you want to go to the sea ( 8 min. Travel time to Kalyves ). I would come back anytime and therefore also recommend the best conscience.

Beautiful location in the heart of Crete - easy to get anywhere on ghe island from here. Very quiet and private small mountain village, very comfortable homw that was very clean and perfectly furnished. Stavros was an amazing host , very attentive (but not interruptive), brought us multiple local delights & fresh produce. This is a fantastic place to comfoortanly relax without being too far away from all of the action on the beaches. Highly recommend!

This is my family’s second time staying with casa magnolia and believe me when I say you really will not find a more generous, loving, and friendly family who genuinely care about your comfort and want to show you the beautiful hospitality that Crete is known for. We were overjoyed to see them again and are very thankful that this family has chosen to share their little paradise on earth with the world. The home is spotless clean, organized, beautifully decorated and in a countryside location that is unique and breathtaking. The owners, without asking, went out of their way to buy us essential groceries and prepare delicious local food and drink for when we arrived. We are grateful for this! Bed linens are of high quality and freshly laundered professionally and were much appreciated after a long day out and about in Chania. Bathrooms are exceptionally clean and so is the rest of the house. We will never hesitate to visit again and hope to do so in future because of this family. ❤

Our stay in Agios Ioannis at Luisa’s traditional Cretan cottage was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! How to sum it up in one review… To start, Luisa was so friendly and helpful when it came to giving us directions to get to the remote village, a flexible check-in time, and TONS of local recommendations. The house itself was spectacular. The patio views of the mountains and sea were absolutely breathtaking and the garden was a private and lovely spot to spend our mornings in. Truly a sacred place, we felt very at home and loved the traditional charm and being so close to nature. We were still within a 15 minute drive to lots of great beaches, restaurants, markets, and hikes, despite being so high up in the mountains. Luisa provided us with everything we needed to have a very special getaway, even inviting us over for dinner in our last night. Cannot thank her enough. If you are looking for the perfect place to experience Crete, this is it! We cannot wait to return!

The cottage is a truly lovely accommodation situated in a calm neighbourhood right by the beach. The beautiful garden with olive trees is a highlight, we had a great time eating breakfast on the sunny terrace. The cottage itself is small but very cozy, perfect for a couple. It has everything you need to cook simple meals. There is also an outdoor shower, and space to park the car in the shade on the property. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the cottage at the end of September during our Honeymoon trip to Crete. The place is a jewel nestled into the hillside, with a beautiful view of Falassarna and the northwest coast, especially at sunset. I agree with other reviews that the photos don't do it justice - it's a quaint and lovely place. It had everything we needed during our stay, including a well stocked kitchen, linens/towels, toiletries, and a ceiling fan + air conditioning in the large bedroom. The place was also perfectly clean! The location is great too - a less than 10 minute drive to Falassarna beach, and in the evenings, you can walk to some of the nearby restaurants, or drive a little further for more delicious options. But by far the greatest thing was our host/neighbor Irene. She was incredibly helpful, friendly, welcoming, and gave us tips for places to eat and visit during our stay. She made the place feel like home :) We highly recommend this place and hope to visit again!

The beautiful house made of traditional natural stone is idyllically located in the middle of a large olive grove. On all sides around the house there is the possibility to use sunny or shady places at the house. In the evening we enjoyed the concert of the cicadas. The decor and amenities are comfortable and tasteful, comfortable beds and good kitchen amenities. We immediately felt comfortable. Yiorgos lovingly informed us about everything and gave us many great tips. The house is close to the sea, to small villages and you can quickly reach beautiful hiking trails. Don't miss the circular trail to the oldest olive tree. A really recommended vacation home.

We had a wonderful time at Stefanie and Zacharias' Olive House. Surrounded by olive trees, we enjoyed the tranquility on the one hand, and we also appreciated the walking distance to the village of Agia Galini. The place was very well maintained, tastefully and comfortably furnished and had everything to offer that we could wish for as self-catering guests - especially in the kitchen. Hikes and beach visits were possible from the house. We also drove to the Triapetra hike once. Communication with the hosts was very pleasant from the start. The personal exchange on site as well as the encounters with the little dog Lucie, who came to greet us from time to time, made us feel welcome and at home. Finally, we would like to thank Stefanie and Zacharias very much for their care and hospitality.

Our time at Varvara's house was great and we felt very comfortable there. Starting with the personal greeting by Varvaras mother with local products (olive oil, raki) and homemade jam, cakes, cookies and a delicious tart. The house is just outside on a large property with a great landscaped garden. The house is also equipped with a lot of love for detail. Everything we needed was provided. From the terraces you have a fantastic view of the mountains and the sea. From there, many excursion destinations can be easily reached by car. Communication with Varvara's mother was great and she was always available with advice.

Everything was done with heart, really warm welcome, full fridge, homemade cake. We noticed all the lovely details, hand embroidered bed linen, neat garden, bathrooms filled with products etc. We felt great in this house and can only recommend this address. The location away from the tourist hustle and bustle allowed us to take a break , there are tavernas and restaurants nearby, and the beautiful beach of Phalassarna is just around the corner. We'd love to come back, thanks for everything

The cottage has a rustic feel with all the modern conveniences. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Nice quiet place with plenty of privacy despite several cottages. The pool area was very large and well maintained. Overall a good experience. We met many animal friends which made us very happy

A great place with a beautiful deserted beach. I recommend it for those looking for peace and contact with nature.

One of the nicest places we've stayed so far! The little house is secluded, complete tranquility & deceleration! We enjoyed the days here, the terrace under the house invites you to lie in the sun, read and enjoy the view. The view is amazing, even from bed. The path is adventurous and not for the faint of heart by car - extremely steep and more for ATVs, but we also managed with a small rental car. The kitchen is well equipped and everything you need is there. It's about a 15-minute walk to Mochlos! Very recommended to anyone looking for peace and quiet!

Very pleasant house. Rather high up, therefore quieter surroundings. The lovely furnishings make you feel at home, much more personal than in a hotel. The neighbor has a free-roaming dog. As I am personally rather afraid of dogs, this was a challenge for me. To mention: he is friendly but curious, which was partly pleasant but still scary for me. Thank you for your hospitality and I can well imagine coming back.

We loved staying at Notos. Great view. Peaceful surroundings, punctuated only be nature. The house was very clean and lots of nice touches like olive oil and Aspa’s mum’s delicious liquour. Very good communication. Two villages walking distance with typical Greek tavernas. Thank you!

We spent 6 days in Maria's home. Eva and nikolas welcomed us very warmly and explained everything. There were also cookies, wine, raki and other goodies ready, very sweet! The house is right on a small beach. Here we could swim and play with the kids. Small downside is that the house is in an area with a lot of horticulture with ugly greenhouses and that you can't walk anywhere from the house. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Mirthos is close and cozy. Furthermore, you can walk nearby through an exciting gorge and visit a waterfall.
